Brandon Butch what quality were the RUclips videos because I know Xr only goes to 720p? Oh and also what dislplay setting were the s10 on because I usually Leave my s10 on FHD+ to balance better battery life and excellent display quality?
Jozie Decoste He has in the video they are all at their default resolution. So, the S10+ is pushing 1080P and the XS Max is pushing 1240P. If you are worried the Galaxy phone was at 1440P, it was not.

ASHonPC he’s owned it obviously for a lot longer and has been using it. The phone and battery are simply older plus the tests were not well controlled and just because you’ve got background app refresh off doesn’t mean the individual apps and setups won’t be doing things in the background.

these are very different phones. they aren’t new, don’t run the same operating system. again, they aren’t new. comparing their battery is not the best test especially in these conditions:

I recently got the s10e Over all the phone is absolutely amazing as for the battery life it's obviously not the best but for me it does just fine I seem to get about 5 or 6 hours on screen time Plus I might heavy user mainly just a little social media and RUclips on a rare occasion Maybe gain and as you guys can tell in my opinion Samsung's do very very good on RUclips battery life But I heard of you turn off the fast charging option your phone gives you longer battery life?

S10e has a 1080p dysplay while s10 plus has 1440p dysplay plus screen is bigger

I wanted to buy this but every review on the internet says that the battery life is too short. I mean you have to get your power bank everywhere with you. In 5 hours the battery is nearly dead...is lower than 50% ... jeezzz..

Its gonna last way longer than 5 hours if its not constantly being used for gaming, watching, etc.

Edit: I'm impressed. Espiacially of the S10e. I've heard some bad things about its battery but it isn't bad at all but I'm also surprised how bad the XR did because many RUclipsrs acted like the XR had the best battery life ever and even better than the XS MAX but that's clearly not the case.

I have the S10e, and I can tell you the battery life is average at best. It might be the type of apps I used, but I seem to really struggle to get through a day with one charge (which I was able to with my S7).

@@trojen2429 very worth it in my opinion , my girlfriend and my mom have the Xs Max, and we compared the cameras and the S10+s is better, not being biased. They said so, as well as price point, mine was $1250 for 512 GB, my girls was $1200 and it only has 64 GB .

It's not just as bout the SoC, the whole S10e which I own, which is the price of the XR, a phone with a screen that's the biggest joke in the industry its God awful, the S10e has twice the XR's storage, twice the amount of ram and it's faster, the 749.99 S10e beats Apples main flagship the XS, newer Display technology, they will only use it on their own flagships though they wont let Apple buy Dynamic AMOLED screens in 6 months, Apple phones are horrible compared to Samsungs flagship phones, Samsung is the number 1 cell phone manufacturer for a reason, once you try them, especially with OneUI 1.1 instead of touchwiz interface, and also the power user capabilities of Android P, there is no comparison between a phone that comes from an OEM electronics super corporation, Apple which has to buy and outsource all their parts, even from their biggest rival Samsung, than they have their phones built at the Foxconn plant in China, Samsungs Flag ships are built at their own manufacturing facilities so their quality control is much much much better. I've had an iPhone that was bent out of the box, I couldn't stand iPhones while I used them for 3 years, but I'm back on the proper side now with a phone that will still be better than the 2019 iPhones because they are still iPhones, it's the whole experience of the build quality, their new user interface, the technology in the S10e, that makes the cheapest model of the S10 series better than the main high tier model the XS. And the price difference, and how much more technology you get is staggering than what you get in an iPhone which whatever stuff they add to iOS and call revolutionary has been on android for years, like they will add multitasking eventually and say this is ground breaking technology, I've been able to do that since my S6 edge. Samsung implemented it on android before it was officially supported by android, it was more confusing to use back then, but when the far more limited multitasking comes to iOS for phones sheeple will be crying thinking God himself must have created such wonders, I will never understand why people pay so much money for so much more inferior devices with iPhones, is it because it has a shiny apple on the back of it? It seems like that's something iPhone fans would be drawn to like bugs to a bug zapper light.

Speedtests, however are not accurate all the time, and are not to rely on. But I really think that samsung with their 3100mah battery has got the best out of it. iphones are known for their better optimization, likewise samsung also optimised their devices very well this time by atleast what we've seen till now

8:50 no the s10 is better with videos too. My s10 got 4hours and 30 minutes of screen on time from Netflix and only lost 27%. If it kept going at that rate I could've watched over 16 hours & 30 minutes without stopping. Literally more than double of either of the iPhone X's

Had my s10 for a week, it loses maybe 5% overnight if not plugged in
on my galaxy note Fan edition. Wasted 13% if you turn on always on display. But on my ipad have no waste any % in same time :(

So for whoever has seen this, it's a great phone, the only bad thing is the battery life on a heavy usage but apart from that it's so good
Since the screens are OLED, the color(darkness) on the background wallpaper does mather. The s10+ is darker than the rest, so less pixels are turned on = less power consumption.
Bluetooth was still on on the Xr and Xs Max, the bluetooth sign was white meaning its on but not connected.. you have to go to settings to deactivate

I knew it gonna be the S10+ but hell the S10E was outstanding considering the capacity, I always thought a 3000 mAh battery on a screen bigger than 5.2 will be garbage but it is just amazing how good it performed, the smaller architecture of the processor must proved its good optimization with energy usage. S10E is the underdog this year. And I also want to know how good the regular S10 can perform since I'm interested in that one rather than the S10+ due to size, I love the plus one but it might be too big, so if the S10 does as good as the S10E I'm interested then, damn I'm interested in both S10 E and the regular S10 at this moment

my mother has an s8 and i have an iphone 7, my battery is still good and hers is broken even though i use my cell phone much more and both phones are the same age.
When I had samsung it was always the same the batteries did not last 2 years.
with my iphones, the batteries have always held out.

Nah. Those who buys phones for what they can do already knows about the alternatives. Those who buys Apple's iPhones for the status quo, the "feel good" it gives them, iMessage, etc. They ain't budging. They'll not even bat an eye at these Androids no matter how awesome they are. The same how Android lovers aren't impressed with the "silky smooth" animations they're always talking about or the fact that their a12 chips are seemingly more powerful or that benchmarks put the iPhones miles ahead of every Android.

Correct me if I am wrong but I noticed the test were all done with WiFi connection....should have added a section with 4g internet browsing which is what most people do with their phones during day time.
