InSaniTy ツ I have the XS MAX, i use the phone all the day, youtube, social media, work, and for example, yesterday i go to sleep with 50% battery yet on the phone... but in general, on the end of the day i have always at least 30% battery
InSaniTy ツ I’ve always had way better battery life on any iPhone vs any android. Maybe the S10+ is in another world compared to the S10e and S10, but I had the S10e for a short time and the battery life was 💩
I'm a happy XS Max owner, but the other day I walked into a Samsung store to check out the S10+ and it's beautiful! At this point it basically boils down to OS preference, all flagships, especially Apple and Samsung, are top notch devices.
I was long time Galaxy Note user before switching to the X, then the Xs Max. I Invested heavily in the Apple ecosystem for myself and my family and, though I love my current setup; I’m not too blinded by brand loyalty to admit that Samsung is killing it! Having spent so much time with Samsung, I recognized immediately what I would miss when I made the switch. Reversely, there’s so much about Apple that is keeping me from going back (for now!). All I know is... Apple better have something PHENOMENAL in Sept!
I think they already have some phenomenal stuff such as their iPads, Macs, watch, Apple TV etc that really do work pretty special together. For me it’s not just about which phone has a few more features.
@@koolkatken Apple doesn't make TVs! Because they don't make displays and get them from Samsung. I doubt there will be something phenomenal with the display cuz Apple will stick to the ugly notch for the next decade.

Just ordered a s10 + upgrading from iPhone 8 Plus I miss the customization android allows vs the proprietary nature of anything Apple but I love both company’s we truly have multiple good choices now and that’s great
Great review, going side by side with specs is much appreciated. I have the S10+ and the XS MAX. To say which one I enjoy better is a tough one. I enjoy the iMessage and the ecosystem apple has built, and for Samsung I enjoy the feature packed experience they give you to really make the phone Yours. One thing I would say though that I end up using the S10+ more because in low signal areas the iPhone struggles to load web pages and send messages whereas the Samsung does wonders in low signal instances and I get to use default apps of my choice. Aside from that both phones are great, just for work around many areas the Samsung makes life easier.
May I ask you whether you still feel the same way after a year? I’m looking to get a new phone and I’m not sure which to get between these two as I’m really inclined towards the iPhone because of the updates!
I've been using my S9 plus in water (shower, car wash, lakes, snow, pools, dish washing, etc) almost every day for a year now and never had any problem with water getting inside or the phone malfunctioning 👌
Love android. But i got it say after owning the iphone xs max for a 6 month is boring af BUT is just work. Face id always work. Ios Never slowdown and apps are better optimize. Like getting updates on day one. If u like to upgrade ur phone every 6-12 month. Iphone is not really the way to go. All iphone are the same.
Honestly gotta give it to Samsung, I have the iPhone X and I love it, but as far as prospective customers looking at the XS and the S10, you are getting a much more complete package with Samsung this year.
Angel they both have their merits, but it's really hard to deny that Samsung knocked it out of the park this year. I prefer iOS software wise, but feature wise and overall performance Samsung looks great this year.
I own both and I tend to favor the iPhone because apps run smoother and facial recognition is quicker than the in display fingerprint sensor. The Apple ecosystem as of right now cannot be matched.
I chose the XR after saying enough to Sprint. (I had the Galaxy S8) I almost got the XS Max but I really liked the savings with the XR. Anyway the Galaxy S10 plus looks really nice and may consider getting it in a year or two. Nice video and great camera on both phones.
Both phones are beautiful, to me, regardless of the notch and camera bump, the iPhone XS Max is just slightly more elegant. Both are beautiful crafted and designed, both to me, the iPhone is just more polished. And I terms of image quality both are equal to me with the s10 just EVER SO SLIGHTLY brighter in terms of color like in the greens and blues. Lastly, when recording video, both do great jobs but I prefer the stereo sound on the iPhone u can hear everything around instead of just the voice with the s10. Overall both a fantastic phones in their own right. I have a Xs but if I were given the chance to use android, I would pick the Galaxy s10 (standard)👍🏾👍🏾 Great video Aaron 💯🙌🏾

Aaron, this video review of the XS Max vs the S10+ escaped me when you posted it. These types of tech reviews are amongst my all-time favourites. This is an excellent, unbiased review of two outstanding devices that many like to pit against one another. Excellent work as always Aaron- superb!

NO - Can the apps on your phone be more integrated into the system -- meaning that apps can play a role in your OS without having to open it from the home screen? - Can the call screen not take up the entire screen, even on a 6.5" display, when you can just make it a pop-up on the top of the screen for Android? NO All these things that can be improved iOS, which Apple is painfully slow on because Google is more and Apple Safari uses Google Search and not Apple Search.
Two extra features that often get overlooked from Sammy are DeX and it’s VR functionality. I know they are thought of as niche features by most, but once I tried VR for the first time with the Gear VR I was surprisingly quite impressed.
@Cryppablezx: I believe that the display is superior on the XS Max, especially in doors. I have compared the two screens, and Indoors, the iPhone XS Max has a higher full screen brightness. I prefer it because of True Tone, 3D Touch, Dolby Vision HDR, not too saturated, no chin, uniformed bezel all round (apart from cutout). 120Hz Touch Sensing, thus making the overall OS feel nice and responsive.
I never thought I’d see the day but I’m beginning to appreciate how much Samsung is offering in the s10 plus. I’ve always used iPhones and I own many apple products, but the S10 Plus is impressive. Even the microphone sounded much clearer than the iPhone. And that display brightness is really useful. The one thing that has always pulled me back is the security of android compared to iOS, as well as the lack of optimisation of applications, compared to iOS apps. Although I don’t like to judge android too much as I have *never* owned an android phone. I hope the next generation of iPhones being some of the technology that Samsung have used in the S10 series! Notable features: wireless power share, higher resolution display, larger battery, and higher MP camera on both sides. Great video as always anyway 😺😲
I already had the iPhone XS Max 256GB and really love it so the only choice was to buy the Samsung Galaxy S10+ 128GB 8GB Ram Prism White. And so I did, now I have the best of both worlds😍
after 5 months now of using the iPhone Xs, I can honestly say the stainless steel is such a huge advantage! it feels better, it sooo much more stickier than aluminium without a sticky feel (i never drop the Xs cause it just doesn‘t slip off your fingers like cold aluminum) and it‘s rock hard. The thousands of scratches? I just polish them away once a year in like 10min.
Get a case for that $1100 device. The back glass costs $599 to replace for the Xs Max. So, the stainless steel and aluminum doesn't matter in that case. Stainless steel adds more weight on the phone than aluminum.

In these Oligopoly, all they need to do is to raise the prices and people would still buy it. Easy money. What choice do you have? All companies made the phones expensive on purpose even though the devices are similar with only slight difference.
I am thinking of switching to Samsung from the iPhone one big reason the display means a lot to me and I always look and think Samsung as the best display.

He sold me at s10plus with 1TB storage and expandable. That's my whole life tucked away into one little piece of storage, also battery life lasts 2 days no charge on Samsung iPhone died even when new from factory. Enough said.
I just picked up the iPhone XS Max and yes it is the best way to go. And I have never used a iPhone before this so I didn't think it would be. I have used Android from the start and I do love the Samsung galaxy phones. Part of the reason I switched to iPhone besides iMessage and Facetime was because my girlfriend thought it would be a good idea to have that and she was right, normal text messages take very long to send when it comes to pictures and videos. On top of that they would be such a low quality video after normal texts compress them. So, we are in a long distance relationship ( until the 11th shes flying out to visit for a while! :D ) and we needed a way to have fun without any issue of pictures not sending or video taking literally 15 minutes to send. It is also pretty nice cause we can facetime any time. There are so many to many to list. I really like the iPhone XS Max a lot more than I thought I would and i'm very glad I went with it rather then the S10+. The main worry I had was IOS seemed so weird at first because everything is layed out different. But now that i've had it for two days I love it much more than my Samsung Galaxy and the battery life on the iPhone XS Max is just longer overall. The iPhone XS Max is just overall a better phone and there is nothing I cant do now that I could do on my android phones. In fact there is much more that I can do with the iPhone. It is also best for doing your basic simple everyday things. The iPhone XS Max plays games much better as well and the battery life is much longer then the Samsung S10+. The main issue if the price for most people and I do understand I would not have been able to get it this month if it wasn't for her help. But I am very grateful and very happy I was smart enough to go with the iPhone XS Max. Just the few main reasons iPhone is literally the best right now. - Display is beautiful and flat! - No lag or waiting on things to load - Battery life, hardware software are much lighter and efficient -Sync all your contacts and email without downloading anything it is all built right in to iOS now. ~ -The support and iPhone updates are really nice to get so often and for the life of the device - This is just my own good reason. I have not used a iPhone I started with android and didn't want to change. But to be honest Samsung Galaxys and Android have been getting very boring and with apple in the lead software and hardware wise you cannot go wrong. They really are better at the time being.
Both phones are smooth, I don't know why people still think android gets laggy. Maybe if you had an old android phone with just 32gb base storage and you have a lot of apps running in the background then yea it can get laggy. But top flagship android phones aren't lagging until 2 years or even longer depending how well you care for it. My Galaxy S10 plus is working smooth and it has not lagged at all for the past few weeks of having it. With 128Gb base storage and with more Ram than the Iphone With the Galaxy S10 plus you get more bang for your buck so it's a no brainer for someone who wants a smartphone that can do a lot yet be more affordable than the Iphone, It has Better battery, Better Display, Expandable storage and an ultra-wide camera and 2 cameras in the front to improve selfie focus pics And it's become a lot more smoother and easier to handle with Samsung's own UI instead of stock android. With the Iphone XS max it's simply a glorified apple phone that has IOS that is more expensive and does not bring a fast charger and it limits you to use wireless headphones or you need an adapter to listen with wired headphones. Then again you're stuck in the apple ecosystem and you may have other apple products so in that case it's more convenient for you to just get an apple phone. I never owned an apple device, but I do know that it limits you a lot more than Android. With Android you're basically an admin With Apple you're just a user And with Samsung Dex you can turn you're phone into a computer and use as a mouse pad when connecting it to a desktop. Go for the Iphone if you just want to show off that you can blow off money and show off a brand. And because you like the "smoothness" of it. Meanwhile I can go on developer options on my phone and slow down animation transitions to make my phone faster. To each their own i guess. There are a lot of good flagship phones besides the Iphone. It just rubs me the wrong way when people don't do their own research on phones and just wants to buy an Iphone simply because it's from apple. Apple doesn't even let you comment on their youtube videos. They don't cater to the general population, they cater to a group of individuals that have to rely on their ecosystem.
Both are best of each OEM. I don't think there is any better. The s10 is more customizable & I prefer the display & battery on the s10. Which ever you prefer, nice review. Choice is a wonderful thing!
Lol, that fluidness is going to go down the drain once the next iPhone is released. Samsung do not slow down previous phones in order to get you to buy new ones.
lokk j Apple doesn’t do that either. If you would have looked more into it, they slowed down older phones with older batteries that would have crashed/died otherwise. That’s legitimately an issue for every smartphone with lithium ion batteries.
I’m in Apple Eco system. Love it and do not have any plans to stop. I’ve been using Samsung some time ago, but Android is not so secure, up-dates of OS support devices shorter than iOS and lots of preinstalled apps what I really do not like. Generally, this Galaxy S10 is really perfect phone for Android users.
I currently have a iPhone 8 but I don’t use any of the Apple apps like iMessage etc I use all the google apps and WhatsApp because it just works with my pc and other non Apple products. I just bought the galaxy S10 and can’t wait to move back over to android once again :)
@@nikist824 Its Flawless. I am loving it. Remember, OLED is not always better and it also has many issues. The screen on the Xr is actually better than many OLED screens. Definitely get the Xr. It's an amazing phone and the battery is ridiculously good. Its lightning fast too! 😀

Acurry17 I also got the Xr and love it. Screen is non issue for me truly. My daughter got the XS and I truly struggle to see a huge difference. Battery is great, camera awesome, it’s so fast... what more does one need? 👍🏼
@@zollotech That's true! OLED panels are great to view at. However, they come at a cost. OLEDS have had the wierd flicker issue that some people experience and also burn ins. I am big on nice displays but Apple has changed my mind this time. They will never produce a product that's of inferior quality. I wasn't happy with the Xr when it first came out. But loved it at the end! So much so that I got one instead of the S10. And I feel like I made the right decision!
I was debating on going g back to iPhone, but with all honstey I would be so confused because I have had my S8 for a while and even though I was a previous iPhone user and all apple, now a windows, iPad, and Samsung user. I will stick with the Samsung I like what I saw and heard!!

Brayden Lee Apple doesn’t “make” your phone lag. They DO provide years of OS upgrades which will eventually take its toll on its capabilities. If you’re referring to the battery issue a while back, that was only for phones with ageing batteries and they addressed that issue ages ago.

Nahhhhhh between the two it is. But I do own S10+ .....yet I would say the price should have been somewhere between $800. Just because the phone is 'almost perfect' we just can't encourage sammy to make a price points such as this. I still remember the older Galaxy S devices used to come in much cheaper value
I’d have no problem with Android if it was a smooth phone. Coming from Apple to android the constant clunkiness of it is unbearable. It’s 2019 why does a brand new android still feel like it’s lagging.

chuck00000100 As far as value goes the iPhone is actually the better deal. You can keep it for a much longer time if need be because apple gets software updates for 5 years that are specified to the device. There are people still using a iPhone 5s from launch. An android from the same time will be running way worse. And you can always sell them earlier to buy your next phone since iPhones retain their value so much better.
Then again if you want new features, you can use custom ROMs on Android devices and get everything there is out there regarding functionality. But I see what you are trying to say which is true.

Erin again another great video.. I’m glad you’ve mentioned security as that’s very important for me. It’s just a shame Samsung only allows you to disable Facebook. The concern I have with that is whether Facebook can still obtain your personal information. Apart that I like how you were able to change the icons on the home screen of the s10+ as it makes it more palatable. I personally use the iPhone XS and while my wife also uses an iPhone (x) we both share messages via WhatsApp & not iMessage. iMessage does appear to be an American thing as the rest of the world isn’t bothered about it. It’s great to see how far android has come and the flexibility makes it a very tempting. As a side note. Won’t all these 4G phones become over shadowed by 5G phones due to be released soon? So what’s the point in buying a 4G phone now when you can buy a better 5G phone in the next few months?
2019 speed tests are redundant, now it’s all about looks/features and value. I’m sure anyone with either phone will be happy for years. I use both iPhone XR and s9+ and happy with both, though camera features are nicer on the s9+
I will say I do prefer Android, but this phone is pleasantly surprised. I did have Samsung and nothing but problems. Never again. I recently researched stats, and Samsung is still by far the least reliable phone made. When there's comparable Android Samsung seems like a terrible choice. I'll personally stick to LG once I'm done with this phone. For what they charge they should be worrying about reliability as much as making things cool to get ppl to buy it. The newer iPhones are literally 10 times more reliable with a 3% issue rate compared to Samsung's 32%. LG sits at 6% if I remember correctly, which coupled with a two year warrantee, is plenty acceptable. Some has Apple Care, rather than regular phone insurance, so despite expensive phones pending on issues you can save allot there vs carrier insurance. It's cheaper per month and replacements are cheaper
iOS definitely has its place. People who want a simple experience with no hiccups. Imessage is great. I have the S9 and X. For me, Android does everything I want it to do iPhone does everything I need it to.
I like this objective viewpoint of both phones. I am all android but i have all respect for iOS. I have no problems with anyone like either operating system. I see good and bad sides to both. But you are so right with one thing about the iPhone that people don't criticize enough is the signal strength. It is horrible, in comparison to Samsung. It has been tested so many time and it turns out the iPhone failed horribly in that one category. What good is a phone when you can't really use it or when it is slow with data speed?

Just got my son the S10+, could have got the second one cheap. I stuck with my iPhone 6S. He's loving it...texting, snapping, tweeting, looking at Facebook, and RUclips videos!!! WhooHoo!! Same things he did yesterday. Minus the $1000.00

As an iPhone X user, I have to say that the Samsung looks better. Both phones are really good, Samsung has some really good features. I prefer Apple`s security and privacy and it work just perfect with my Apple ecosystem.
Used both for years, using the XsMax only now, things “may” get better over time on samsung, but for a flagship device or any for that matter I feel like I am for ever waiting for OS updates! Maybe I’m to used to IOS and or IOS beta’s but damn I hate the slow burn waits for Android update/s Each to there own though, all depends what the user wants from a device imo
People keep talking about iOS don't lag I've been using iPhone again since Product Red 8+ using XS Max now and I experienced lag on both now granted I'm using the beta now so bugs are expected. But people talking about we get software upgrades all the time?! 🤔 Yeah but there bug fixes (meaning their fixing a issue with the phone) not software features so what's y'all point. Everybody getting excited about dark mode coming to iOS 13, damn that what about pop up video, split screen and themes. That's why Apple do the shit they do because fanboys don't care, Apple can tell you "your just holding it wrong" and everyone's okay with that. 🤦🏾♂️
Omar Arab aw man the file management, the hoops I had to jump through to move a iso file to a ppsspp (PlayStation portable app) folder so I can play PSP games on my XS Max was crazy. iOS definitely need better file management. Hopefully one day!

Both awesome phones. Yes they are expensive but you can always but a S10e or IPhone Xr and don’t lose too many features. I’m happy with Android and will probably stay with Samsung. But I do love my IPad Air, absolutely brilliant, easy to use. So can imagine the IPhone is also great.
kissatkoiria hmm u must use a lot of those features or something I found more to be gimmicky in my expiernce never used the charge other phones feature but twice I did enjoy having a finer print scanner again and long battery life and facial recognition and the openness of android but idk I feel more secure with iPhones less hiccups I will say galaxys have great multitasking features I loved watching Netflix and playing games at the same time
I had the s10+ from launch day up until around July got rid of it I currently have the xs max and till this day it still performs and last me all day no issues

I think they already have some phenomenal stuff such as their iPads, Macs, watch, Apple TV etc that really do work pretty special together. For me it’s not just about which phone has a few more features.

Great review, going side by side with specs is much appreciated. I have the S10+ and the XS MAX. To say which one I enjoy better is a tough one. I enjoy the iMessage and the ecosystem apple has built, and for Samsung I enjoy the feature packed experience they give you to really make the phone Yours. One thing I would say though that I end up using the S10+ more because in low signal areas the iPhone struggles to load web pages and send messages whereas the Samsung does wonders in low signal instances and I get to use default apps of my choice. Aside from that both phones are great, just for work around many areas the Samsung makes life easier.
May I ask you whether you still feel the same way after a year? I’m looking to get a new phone and I’m not sure which to get between these two as I’m really inclined towards the iPhone because of the updates!
I've been using my S9 plus in water (shower, car wash, lakes, snow, pools, dish washing, etc) almost every day for a year now and never had any problem with water getting inside or the phone malfunctioning 👌
Love android. But i got it say after owning the iphone xs max for a 6 month is boring af BUT is just work. Face id always work. Ios Never slowdown and apps are better optimize. Like getting updates on day one. If u like to upgrade ur phone every 6-12 month. Iphone is not really the way to go. All iphone are the same.

I own both and I tend to favor the iPhone because apps run smoother and facial recognition is quicker than the in display fingerprint sensor. The Apple ecosystem as of right now cannot be matched.

I chose the XR after saying enough to Sprint. (I had the Galaxy S8) I almost got the XS Max but I really liked the savings with the XR. Anyway the Galaxy S10 plus looks really nice and may consider getting it in a year or two. Nice video and great camera on both phones.
Both phones are beautiful, to me, regardless of the notch and camera bump, the iPhone XS Max is just slightly more elegant. Both are beautiful crafted and designed, both to me, the iPhone is just more polished. And I terms of image quality both are equal to me with the s10 just EVER SO SLIGHTLY brighter in terms of color like in the greens and blues. Lastly, when recording video, both do great jobs but I prefer the stereo sound on the iPhone u can hear everything around instead of just the voice with the s10. Overall both a fantastic phones in their own right. I have a Xs but if I were given the chance to use android, I would pick the Galaxy s10 (standard)👍🏾👍🏾 Great video Aaron 💯🙌🏾

- Can you download apps over mobile data? NO
- Can you see an estimate to when your phone will be fully charged? NO
- Can the apps on your phone be more integrated into the system -- meaning that apps can play a role in your OS without having to open it from the home screen?
- Can the call screen not take up the entire screen, even on a 6.5" display, when you can just make it a pop-up on the top of the screen for Android? NO
All these things that can be improved iOS, which Apple is painfully slow on because Google is more and Apple Safari uses Google Search and not Apple Search.
Two extra features that often get overlooked from Sammy are DeX and it’s VR functionality. I know they are thought of as niche features by most, but once I tried VR for the first time with the Gear VR I was surprisingly quite impressed.

I have compared the two screens, and Indoors, the iPhone XS Max has a higher full screen brightness.
I prefer it because of True Tone, 3D Touch, Dolby Vision HDR, not too saturated, no chin, uniformed bezel all round (apart from cutout). 120Hz Touch Sensing, thus making the overall OS feel nice and responsive.

I never thought I’d see the day but I’m beginning to appreciate how much Samsung is offering in the s10 plus. I’ve always used iPhones and I own many apple products, but the S10 Plus is impressive. Even the microphone sounded much clearer than the iPhone. And that display brightness is really useful. The one thing that has always pulled me back is the security of android compared to iOS, as well as the lack of optimisation of applications, compared to iOS apps. Although I don’t like to judge android too much as I have *never* owned an android phone. I hope the next generation of iPhones being some of the technology that Samsung have used in the S10 series! Notable features: wireless power share, higher resolution display, larger battery, and higher MP camera on both sides. Great video as always anyway 😺😲
I already had the iPhone XS Max 256GB and really love it so the only choice was to buy the Samsung Galaxy S10+ 128GB 8GB Ram Prism White. And so I did, now I have the best of both worlds😍

The moment you picked up the s10 I saw the 3d app icons it's like 4 dimensional looks dope
after 5 months now of using the iPhone Xs, I can honestly say the stainless steel is such a huge advantage! it feels better, it sooo much more stickier than aluminium without a sticky feel (i never drop the Xs cause it just doesn‘t slip off your fingers like cold aluminum) and it‘s rock hard.
The thousands of scratches? I just polish them away once a year in like 10min.
Get a case for that $1100 device. The back glass costs $599 to replace for the Xs Max. So, the stainless steel and aluminum doesn't matter in that case. Stainless steel adds more weight on the phone than aluminum.

I just picked up the iPhone XS Max and yes it is the best way to go. And I have never used a iPhone before this so I didn't think it would be. I have used Android from the start and I do love the Samsung galaxy phones. Part of the reason I switched to iPhone besides iMessage and Facetime was because my girlfriend thought it would be a good idea to have that and she was right, normal text messages take very long to send when it comes to pictures and videos. On top of that they would be such a low quality video after normal texts compress them.
So, we are in a long distance relationship ( until the 11th shes flying out to visit for a while! :D ) and we needed a way to have fun without any issue of pictures not sending or video taking literally 15 minutes to send. It is also pretty nice cause we can facetime any time. There are so many to many to list. I really like the iPhone XS Max a lot more than I thought I would and i'm very glad I went with it rather then the S10+.
The main worry I had was IOS seemed so weird at first because everything is layed out different. But now that i've had it for two days I love it much more than my Samsung Galaxy and the battery life on the iPhone XS Max is just longer overall. The iPhone XS Max is just overall a better phone and there is nothing I cant do now that I could do on my android phones. In fact there is much more that I can do with the iPhone. It is also best for doing your basic simple everyday things. The iPhone XS Max plays games much better as well and the battery life is much longer then the Samsung S10+.
The main issue if the price for most people and I do understand I would not have been able to get it this month if it wasn't for her help. But I am very grateful and very happy I was smart enough to go with the iPhone XS Max.
Just the few main reasons iPhone is literally the best right now.
- Display is beautiful and flat!
- No lag or waiting on things to load
- Battery life, hardware software are much lighter and efficient
-Sync all your contacts and email without downloading anything it is all built right in to iOS now. ~
-The support and iPhone updates are really nice to get so often and for the life of the device
- This is just my own good reason. I have not used a iPhone I started with android and didn't want to change. But to be honest Samsung Galaxys and Android have been getting very boring and with apple in the lead software and hardware wise you cannot go wrong. They really are better at the time being.
Both phones are smooth, I don't know why people still think android gets laggy. Maybe if you had an old android phone with just 32gb base storage and you have a lot of apps running in the background then yea it can get laggy. But top flagship android phones aren't lagging until 2 years or even longer depending how well you care for it. My Galaxy S10 plus is working smooth and it has not lagged at all for the past few weeks of having it. With 128Gb base storage and with more Ram than the Iphone
With the Galaxy S10 plus you get more bang for your buck so it's a no brainer for someone who wants a smartphone that can do a lot yet be more affordable than the Iphone, It has Better battery, Better Display, Expandable storage and an ultra-wide camera and 2 cameras in the front to improve selfie focus pics And it's become a lot more smoother and easier to handle with Samsung's own UI instead of stock android.
With the Iphone XS max it's simply a glorified apple phone that has IOS that is more expensive and does not bring a fast charger and it limits you to use wireless headphones or you need an adapter to listen with wired headphones. Then again you're stuck in the apple ecosystem and you may have other apple products so in that case it's more convenient for you to just get an apple phone.
I never owned an apple device, but I do know that it limits you a lot more than Android.
With Android you're basically an admin
With Apple you're just a user
And with Samsung Dex you can turn you're phone into a computer and use as a mouse pad when connecting it to a desktop.
Go for the Iphone if you just want to show off that you can blow off money and show off a brand. And because you like the "smoothness" of it.
Meanwhile I can go on developer options on my phone and slow down animation transitions to make my phone faster.
To each their own i guess. There are a lot of good flagship phones besides the Iphone. It just rubs me the wrong way when people don't do their own research on phones and just wants to buy an Iphone simply because it's from apple.

lokk j Apple doesn’t do that either. If you would have looked more into it, they slowed down older phones with older batteries that would have crashed/died otherwise. That’s legitimately an issue for every smartphone with lithium ion batteries.

I’m in Apple Eco system. Love it and do not have any plans to stop. I’ve been using Samsung some time ago, but Android is not so secure, up-dates of OS support devices shorter than iOS and lots of preinstalled apps what I really do not like. Generally, this Galaxy S10 is really perfect phone for Android users.
I m so glad with my x in silver. I bet in 6 months Samsung costs the same that the x. I really love iOS but s10 looks good too with new software.
I currently have a iPhone 8 but I don’t use any of the Apple apps like iMessage etc I use all the google apps and WhatsApp because it just works with my pc and other non Apple products. I just bought the galaxy S10 and can’t wait to move back over to android once again :)

@@zollotech That's true! OLED panels are great to view at. However, they come at a cost. OLEDS have had the wierd flicker issue that some people experience and also burn ins. I am big on nice displays but Apple has changed my mind this time. They will never produce a product that's of inferior quality. I wasn't happy with the Xr when it first came out. But loved it at the end! So much so that I got one instead of the S10. And I feel like I made the right decision!

Brayden Lee Apple doesn’t “make” your phone lag. They DO provide years of OS upgrades which will eventually take its toll on its capabilities. If you’re referring to the battery issue a while back, that was only for phones with ageing batteries and they addressed that issue ages ago.

You can keep it for a much longer time if need be because apple gets software updates for 5 years that are specified to the device. There are people still using a iPhone 5s from launch. An android from the same time will be running way worse. And you can always sell them earlier to buy your next phone since iPhones retain their value so much better.

Erin again another great video.. I’m glad you’ve mentioned security as that’s very important for me. It’s just a shame Samsung only allows you to disable Facebook. The concern I have with that is whether Facebook can still obtain your personal information.
Apart that I like how you were able to change the icons on the home screen of the s10+ as it makes it more palatable. I personally use the iPhone XS and while my wife also uses an iPhone (x) we both share messages via WhatsApp & not iMessage. iMessage does appear to be an American thing as the rest of the world isn’t bothered about it. It’s great to see how far android has come and the flexibility makes it a very tempting.
As a side note. Won’t all these 4G phones become over shadowed by 5G phones due to be released soon? So what’s the point in buying a 4G phone now when you can buy a better 5G phone in the next few months?

Sam Pomare I chose it simply because times are right with buying a house and I got an insane deal through loyalty.
I will say I do prefer Android, but this phone is pleasantly surprised. I did have Samsung and nothing but problems. Never again. I recently researched stats, and Samsung is still by far the least reliable phone made. When there's comparable Android Samsung seems like a terrible choice. I'll personally stick to LG once I'm done with this phone. For what they charge they should be worrying about reliability as much as making things cool to get ppl to buy it. The newer iPhones are literally 10 times more reliable with a 3% issue rate compared to Samsung's 32%. LG sits at 6% if I remember correctly, which coupled with a two year warrantee, is plenty acceptable. Some has Apple Care, rather than regular phone insurance, so despite expensive phones pending on issues you can save allot there vs carrier insurance. It's cheaper per month and replacements are cheaper

iOS definitely has its place. People who want a simple experience with no hiccups. Imessage is great. I have the S9 and X. For me, Android does everything I want it to do iPhone does everything I need it to.

I like this objective viewpoint of both phones. I am all android but i have all respect for iOS. I have no problems with anyone like either operating system. I see good and bad sides to both. But you are so right with one thing about the iPhone that people don't criticize enough is the signal strength. It is horrible, in comparison to Samsung. It has been tested so many time and it turns out the iPhone failed horribly in that one category. What good is a phone when you can't really use it or when it is slow with data speed?

I feel like majority of owners dont ever watch videos like this. They simply just buy one to have an "apple" or "samsung" product. Sort of like how everyone buys airpods and beats headphones without knowing a single spec

I love how you can have an amazing background picture for the s10, due to the punch hole.
As an iPhone X user, I have to say that the Samsung looks better. Both phones are really good, Samsung has some really good features. I prefer Apple`s security and privacy and it work just perfect with my Apple ecosystem.
Used both for years, using the XsMax only now, things “may” get better over time on samsung, but for a flagship device or any for that matter I feel like I am for ever waiting for OS updates!
Maybe I’m to used to IOS and or IOS beta’s but damn I hate the slow burn waits for Android update/s
Each to there own though, all depends what the user wants from a device imo

People keep talking about iOS don't lag I've been using iPhone again since Product Red 8+ using XS Max now and I experienced lag on both now granted I'm using the beta now so bugs are expected. But people talking about we get software upgrades all the time?! 🤔 Yeah but there bug fixes (meaning their fixing a issue with the phone) not software features so what's y'all point. Everybody getting excited about dark mode coming to iOS 13, damn that what about pop up video, split screen and themes. That's why Apple do the shit they do because fanboys don't care, Apple can tell you "your just holding it wrong" and everyone's okay with that. 🤦🏾♂️

Omar Arab aw man the file management, the hoops I had to jump through to move a iso file to a ppsspp (PlayStation portable app) folder so I can play PSP games on my XS Max was crazy. iOS definitely need better file management. Hopefully one day!

😆😆 Trust me! Apple don’t listen to anyone! Especially the customers! If that’s the case Dark Mode and all that you said would have been in iOS like 3yrs ago. Good points though! I still prefer Apple. Just me....I think Samsung is better / Android, but I prefer Apple. I know that probably doesn’t make sense but with me iOS just seems better! Smoother, more polished! The thing I LOVE about iOS too is if you get a Apple device from a carrier you won’t see ANY carrier bloat ware! Apple doesn’t allow it! You gotta love that!

Both awesome phones. Yes they are expensive but you can always but a S10e or IPhone Xr and don’t lose too many features.
I’m happy with Android and will probably stay with Samsung. But I do love my IPad Air, absolutely brilliant, easy to use. So can imagine the IPhone is also great.
S10 plus is beauty and can't compare any phone to that at present

Went from xs max to s10+ about few weeks ago. Absolutely love this phone
kissatkoiria hmm u must use a lot of those features or something I found more to be gimmicky in my expiernce never used the charge other phones feature but twice I did enjoy having a finer print scanner again and long battery life and facial recognition and the openness of android but idk I feel more secure with iPhones less hiccups I will say galaxys have great multitasking features I loved watching Netflix and playing games at the same time
This is the same situation I'm in.. I have an XS Max and am definitely on the fence. The Ceramic White s10+ looks lovely.
for 10+ years I have only known iPhone. - love seeing the comparison but will stick with what I know and love as well as sometimes love to hate lol
During the benchmark test you could see the OLED pixel wave on both phones and it was pretty sick

I had the s10+ from launch day up until around July got rid of it I currently have the xs max and till this day it still performs and last me all day no issues
