Once you’ve own a FGX they really grows on you. I like them that much , I bought 4 of them (Turbo Ute and sedan , Xr6 sprint and a XR8).Do yourself a favour and look after it , it’s history , it what Ford Australia achieved on a shoe string budget and we will never see another Falcon again.
I like the looks
The G6E front end is eye catching. Then the black paint stands out makes the chrome trim pop. Then the engine, the flutter looks sick on the bags. What a package. Its drop dead. Looks like the young lady doesn't mind going through a tyre or two. Great to see. Great vid Ross. Always top level content.

me and my mate both own black na fgx's in vic (on p plates), an xr6 and g6e respectively, i look up to the high power fgx owners like gyon and fgjetx as an end goal as i totally want a turbo fgx when i get my full license.
Black cars generally look the mean when you lower them and black nearly everything out,so good to see a gal having a go and that’s a powerful car ,great content loved it

i dont mind the the look of the FG-X, i cooked my e clutch bushes so i put a NA trans in mine while its getting build with a 6r80 input etc...NA box seems to handle 412rwkw ... got a new turbo and injectors sitting here for a frew weeks ready to go in and dyno... worried about the NA trans now lol

When you floored it, it sounded like the boost was surging/fluctuating.
I was easing on it and the gate was coming on and off.. likes being flat footed but had to go easy on the box
@@RossReviewsau my tuner here in nz couldnt solve my boost surging/fluctuating problems with my fgx, so i ended up bypassing stock boost solenoid and running straight off gate springs. Goes mint now.
Even old ford workers would love to own this ....back in the 90s ford workers would buy commodores , more reliable , more power ...less break downs ...ford australia 🇦🇺 sure have brought out the beast . Of a 6

This is a great car, but seen it up for sale for 60k. Unfortunately doesn’t have a built box which is a turn off

come test my pride and joy my Black vz ss 6speed manual stock 5.7 bottom end pistions and rings only. its turbo built by mpw. its at 398rwkw on 6 psi. on E85. bilstiens semi slicks all round so set up for the nurburg ring. im in launching place Victoria
