He ain't never lying. I have type s tlx and when I was getting the puddle lights replaced, ib asked about an oil change, I was at 19 percent and acura did the same thing. Told me no unless I want to pay out my own pocket. And while it was serviced. The scratched my passenger mirror. Luckily I had before and after pics and did ac walk through. So after talking with the gm. They replaced it. Love acura but not the corporate.

I recently bought a 2025 and love the way the car drives, but the quality is not great. There are a lot of interior rattles, the road noise can be deafening the way it reverberates through the structure at times, and the paint/clearcoat quality is abysmal. I really expected better from Acura (I have owned many Hondas/Acuras in the past that had way better quality). I love driving the car but these types of issues really do sour the experience, so I totally understand where you're coming from. Heck, my 11 year old daughter even noticed the rattles and road noise, and that tells you something.

    • @nathanossiander7836

The tires that come on the vehicle 265/30 R19 imo the sidewall is too thin. I experienced most of the same problems you're describing, now on winter tires 275/35 R19, road noise is gone entirely, most of the interior rattles are gone too. For summer I'm likely going to downsize to 275/35 R18. I'd say definitely try a different thicker sidewall tire if you're keeping the car

I understand the phenomenal engineering with the Honda/acura product to limit understeer @ torque steer. But, if the premise is that this will be a quick all-arounder, then I don’t know why you wouldn’t factor in roads that weren’t dry. As Q mentioned, it’ll suck in wet and snow (the latter can be mitigated by getting dedicated snows on separate rims - as I did for my R)

Like you I did a "downgrade" going from a 2023 Golf R to a 2024 WRX Limited 6-speed manual. The WRX lacks wireless phone charger, inadequate center armrest, not as good shifter, no adaptive dampers, less power, slower acceleration. My Golf R had rear differential failure at less than 4,000 miles and was at the dealer nearly a month waiting for parts to repair. I lost confidence in the car worrying would happen again since on internet others in same boat. Honda is not the most reliable brand. That honor is easily Toyota and Lexus. Hondas def do not last as long (S2000 and older Civics are much more reliable), how many old CRVs and Pilots do you see on the roads. There are tons of very old RAV4s, 4Runners, Camrys out there
