That's exactly what I was thinking. I personally think it's a money-making scheme. When my brother passed away, his wife struggled financially, and a couple of months later, she had to pay over £300 on school uniforms for her 3 kids. We helped her, but what if she had no support?
I wish. Here in the US, we have already spent $240 on 3 outfits and 1 sweater for our 5 yo kindergarten/1st year of school and another $50 to have the minimum 2 pairs of shoes she needs(dress shoes/gym sneakers). It will cost us at least another $240 to get her the other 2 days of clothing and 1 more sweater she need to have 1 week of clothing. The items are $34-$48/per item. This is a publicly funded charter school. Absolutely ridiculous. We haven't even had to pay for the other mandatory costs of sports equipment, laptops, and field trips(they are mandatory).
Can't the school just give the logos to the parents for them to see on to cheaper bought jumpers, etc.. themselves?
