I was learning to use with shiseido relaxer solution or this Korean perm product but didn’t understand the mixing ratios. Eager to watch more of your videos 😍
Thank you! I love how she was making sure you could twist it yourself! I liked the trick of clipping the twist in place because spinning my hair while drying it was tiring! My hairstylist taught me to use my Left hand to twist the right side of my hair and my Right hand to twist the left side of my hair to make sure you're twisting outwards.

i wish i could go to your salon and have this kind of perm, i like it because its loose curls unlike other perms. Im from Cebu, Philippines and ur so far i away.

What a useful tutorial! How would this work on hair with a cold perm instead of digital perm?

I can't do any chemical treatment now. My hair thinning on the crown. So, I have to double the volume of my hair first.

Hello. If i did not do the sectioning, it will be a beachy waves?
I just got a digital perm done and even after twisting my hair to dry it, it still looks very messy or unruly.
But its a totally different effect if done by a pro hair stylist 😫
I guess i still gotta work on my technique!

What a useful video to keep a digital perm looking the same at home! How would you advise sleeping with a digital perm? I have read about silk pillowcases and wrapping hair up in a silk scarf, but I would like to know how to put my hair up to sleep so I don’t ruin the curls.
Hi, I don't have a good recommendation but to tell you to sleep well without worrying about it. Practice how to revive the curls. Once you get used to it, managing your wavy hair will be easy.

+D N A Urteaga Unfortunately this trick won't work on wavy hair. It is only for digital perm curls. I also have another video to show how to make curly hair with a flat iron. I've been trying to make more educational videos. I am glad you liked it. ^^
You actually CAN use this technique, to style naturally curly/wavy hair, but it will only work well on hair that has a fairly strong wave, or curl pattern to it to begin with. Also, try adding a little product, such as a light smoothing syrum, (to keep frizz from forming) and some type of product with a light-med hold, (like a mousee/gel, etc...to help the finger curls hold their shape until the hair is fully dry) No offence to you Momo! I just happen to know that this method actually works well, to give style & shape to wavy/curly/frizzy hair types...because thats the hair texture i was born with, and ive been using this method to style my own hair for several years now. 😍 Great video btw! I love that you give your clients a little "hair-how-to-crash-course" to enable them to comfortably style their own hair from home after they leave the salon. 😎👍

Thank you for your great comments. It encourages us to work harder! You don't need to wet your hair everyday. As long as you don't tie your hair, the curls should last 6 to 12 months.

Hiii, I just had a digital perm and I just wanted to ask, whenever you use your finger to curl it, does it have to be outside? I think the way my hair was curled (the curling pattern) is inwards. Is the curling outside technique applicable only to the way the hairdresser decides to curl the client's hair or is this a way for all digital curled hair? +Katie Lui hi. Thanks for asking. When u dry with your finger, that is tobtally up to u if u go for outward or inward. Both ways come out nicer if u dry properly. But if u have long and layered hair then I recommend u go for outward or if u have shorter and low layers hair then u should go for inward means it depends on what kind of haircut style u have^^

Hi, I'm not sure if I understand you correctly. You mean she made curls with an iron after digital perm? You don't need to do anything after the perm. You just need to air dry it or dry it with the technique I showed you in this video.

Hi Tonya, just one note. Digital perm doesn't work with bleached hair so please keep your natural health hair to get this perm.

Hi, you could use the curl cream but we recommend our customers to use hair serums after finger dry.

Hi Raina, sorry for the late reply. I can't tell you what other hairdressers use but I use 2 inch rods. :)

We recommend a treatment instead of the conditioner but any brand is ok for shampoo and conditioner.

If you want to have a natural looking curly hair, digital perm is the answer. If you take care of your digital perm, it would last from six months to a year. :)

How long does a digital perm last compared with cold perm?
Our customers usually come back after 6 months for root touch-up. Cold perm lasts only a month. ^^

You loosely put it up in a high bun on top of your head and wrap that with a silk thin scarf and sleep.
