I thought the Xenoblade games were developed by the Japanese company Monolith Soft? I've never heard of 'Chuga' or 'Player Essence.' Were they the co-developers? Also, which is the Nintendo stream? I must have missed it.

@@JColeGlazer754 Nobody is paid the amount of money Chugga should have been paid for all the work he's put into not only his Xenoblade 1 and 2 Let's Plays. They are simultaneously fully comprehensive 100% walkthroughs and entertaining episodic series, both with custom art assets that he spent his own money commissioning, and information that goes beyond just the gameplay, going into the games' codes, behind the scenes of their productions, and into supplemental material.
If you knew anything about the way Chuggaconroy makes Let's Plays, you wouldn't bother to question his motivations. Most people who get paid to do something don't do them as thoroughly as he does.
This is actually a pretty cool idea. Great how they've got direct word from fans especially legends like Chuggaa who I'd argue was a massive promoter of Xenoblade.
Consodering chuggaa gave away 40 copies of xc1 wii back in the day for his LP, yeah.
Chuggaaconroy introduced me to the xenoblade series, and it's become a huge part of my life... and seeing him in an official capacity talking about warms my heart so much...

Chugga I feel like is the main reason why so many of us are here. Introducing so many of us to the franchise almost 10 years ago. It's so great to see it all come full circle for him getting to talk about Xenoblade for Nintendo themselves. He should feel proud, very proud and I know we all are too!
For me, I skipped Chugga's playthrough of Xenoblade 1, but enjoyed him playing Xenoblade 2.

Woah, it's Dedicated Conroy himself! The man who managed to tune me into the series with his Let's Play of the first Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii... My mom managed to find a copy at our local GameStop, against all odds, and I got it for the holidays that year. Been a die hard fan ever since that Let's Play started. It's surreal seeing him in an official ad. Thanks, Emile, for everything you've done for this series. And thank you Nintendo for recognizing how brilliant of a series it is. The marketing for 3 has been top notch.
True Dat bud. I was referred to him by another let's player (who was my 1st RUclips channel I subbed to) and that was early days of super luigi galaxy 1. And though I don't enjoy xenoblade that much. I do enjoy seeing others enjoy it. So raise ur glasses to Emile's health and prosperity. Here's hoping he reaches the 10million subscribers milestone

Never, seriously? It's free advertisement. It costs Nintendo absolutely nothing. It's a million times cheaper than developing its own advertisement. It requires almost no budget at all.
If someone told me back in 2016 while playing Xenoblade X that this series would turn out like this, I wouldn't have believed it.
I'm so happy this series has gone so far from it's uncertain beginnings in 2010, and I definitely look forward to seeing it soar even higher in the future.

I'd pick up XCX for the Switch without hesitation. Especially if they went they extra mile and added an extra side story along the lines of Future Connected.

it could be mine too but the technical issues and the forced tutorials let me think of it otherwise sadly... But it has a great story! Main and Side :)
@@13Carrey1 I get it, but the tutorials don't overstep their welcome and I rarely got any technical issues.
@@TronicSpeed Besides the tanking frame rate, there's also a problem with memory overflow, making sidequest conversations not appear in some cases. It also makes the game run and load slower, so it's advised to close the game often (which for a game like this, it's counterintuitive)
@@13Carrey1 Nonono, tutorials in this entry specifically are a blessing from the Architect. A few of them are optional, but even then it's worth checking them out

The Xenoblade games have some of the best world building in video game history. Being a longtime Xenoblade fan the feelings of nostalgia I would get everytime I saw a place I recognized from a previous game were some of the best. My number one pick for best game of 2022
Xenoblade has become my favorite series in gaming. I love seeing how much attention XBC3 is getting. It really is a special game, let alone saga. JRPGs rarely ever reach this height, and Monolith more than deserves this loooong overdue recognition. Nintendo is making the right move by steering them into the major league of Nintendo IPs. I cant wait to see what they do next.

I played 117 hours of this beautiful game before I decided that I’d done enough for now. It’s really an incredible experience and everybody who enjoys RPGs should support this series.

If you haven't played Xenoblade Chronicles 3 yet. This is a no brainer. Get this game ASAP. This game not only has shown me why I love RPG gaming, but it has taught me something valuable in life. There are sad times, but we just keep on moving forward and just .... walk on! Never has been a game that I've shed so many tears in my gameplays. I play this game because of my love for RPG gaming. This game has taught me life lessons that honestly, I'd never thought I'd learn in my life. It's an amazing game and I'm still challenging myself to beat those superbosses that I'd never do in the other games. It's game of the year for me in my honest opinion

Xenoblade is perhaps the healthiest developer-fanbase relationship I've ever experienced in video games. For 3 (4) video games in a row, Monolith Soft has set out to create a game the fans love as much as they do. You can tell how much love and care is put in to their projects. These games are pure labors of love and a heartwarming example of success through sheer passion. We are extremely fortunate as Xenoblade Chronicles fans.
Monolith Soft is the best studio Nintendo has right now. They are so receptive to what fans want and they are more transparent about what they do than most other studios. They give reports of statistics for their studio, like how many people they hired, percentages of programmers, artists, QA testers, and so on. They deserve so much more recognition for all that they do, on top of how well they treat their employees by preventing working overtime and crunch.

I've had the Switch since launch, I own nearly 500 games for it by now. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is definitely my favorite. From the gameplay, to the characters and storyline, to the soundtrack and the world itself - it's so well done. My only regret is that I'll never be able to experience it again for the first time.

It’s such an amazing experience for Content Creators who love Xenoblade for this ad
My favorite part of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is how they took the Blade Quests from 2 and the more in depth side quests from 1 and meshed them together and made them immerse the player in the world much more than a collection quest or an elimination quest. Every single side quest in this game makes you feel like you accomplished something more than a simple task, you feel more for the characters involved, makes the world and NPCs feel even more alive. I hope that in future Xeno titles Monolithsoft continues this practice.
They act so happy but then forget chapter 5 existed. Best story in a game I’ve played and the best combat for this style of rpg I’ve played. 15/10 would recommend to anyone.

Met the series with Shulk's presence in Smash, then watched the entire Chuggaaconroy's LP and knew i've HAD to play it
Years later finally got the chance and boy oh boy. Xenoblade 1 became one of my favorite games ever
Now with 3 out i got it on the first week and yep, another of my favorite games ever was born
The game is absolute 🔥 Put in almost 50 hours and I’m only on chapter 4! Plus the characters you just fall in love with, the sidequests that actually make sense and evolve the gameplay, the music, the DLC we haven’t even gotten yet! Soo glad I got this game last week! Highly recommend!! 😃🔥❤️
P.s. If anyone is on the fence about this game, I didn’t play XC1 or XC2 and I jumped right in no problem. There’s also a section called training drills in the menu so if the battle mechanics feel a bit overwhelming you can learn about each component bit by bit and go through it as many times as you like. Don’t sleep on this Stellar game! Most fun I’ve had probably since Breath of the Wild came out 😃😃

That's a great message. You can play XC3 even if you have not tried the first and the second one. After the third one, you can love the franchise a lot of more with the other two games and their expansions.
Everything in this game is amazing for me. That ending is a chef's kiss to the overall theme of the game. Thank you Monolith for bringing this masterpiece to life
I don't think I would've experienced these games until now had it not been for Emile. Starting after X was announced for Wii U and I got to hear him gush over Xenoblade with his infectious passion for it and speculate about the new game in discussion with Derrick Bitner (now from Good Vibes Gaming. He also deserves credit here!) with Gaur Plain playing in the background, which quickly drew my attention for how good it was. Then he started playing the original for the channel and I was hooked fast.
It made me interested in the series and I quickly picked up and enjoyed Xenoblade Chronicles X, then the 3DS port of the original game (remember, it was hard to come by a copy of the original at the time) and then despite my reservations about XC2, I gave it a shot as well and although it was a bit of a rough experience, it was still worth playing. Were it not for the discussion and LP videos, I doubt I'd have given any of the games a chance until XC1 DE at best.
And now, I am happy to say that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is one of my favourite games of all time!

Chuggaa was my intro to Xenoblade Chronicles, thanks to his LP I bought Xenoblade Chronicles 3D when it came out, and have bought every Xenoblade Chronicles game since.

I watched his first let's play of the first Xenoblade Chronicles. I never forgot that game ad the feelings it gave me. The definitive edition came out. I finally got to play the game!! I finally finished it this year and a month ago I finished 2. I am on 3 now and my God. Great game with an amazing story. So thank you Emile for getting me into this universe and game!!!

To think this was all made possible to a fan rally for some non-US Wii games to be localized and come to the states is insane, the Xeno games are my favorite video game series of all times
I absolutely love Xenoblade 3! The story, characters, world, and absolutely everything is so beautiful and incredible! If you haven't played any of the Xenoblade games you need to play atleast one of them! They're all just absolutely amazing and if you like one play the others too!
XC3 is the first of the series I really got into. 120h in and I still want to play more!! In comparison, I couldn’t get into XC2. But now my interest for the series is renewed and I’ll check out XC1 and XC2 Torna :)
I beat the game the other day and it’s amazing. Best combat, story, and characters of the whole series. Even for games as a whole, the story and characters are top notch. If you’re a JRPG fan, this is a must play!

@@s1ber1anstorm41 No, it's the only Xenoblade game I didn't play 😔 hopefully they port it to Switch one day.
I remember back in late 2011, when the last episode of Chuggaaconroy's LP of Majora's Mask was freshly uploaded, he briefly mentioned in the video something about the original Xenoblade Chronicles game coming to the PAL territories. Which, of course, peaked my interest, but nothing more.
4 1/2 years later, he began the LP of the original game and in no time flat, I was hooked. You can only imagine my reaction when I found out XC2 was releasing 1 1/2 after that LP ended. His XC2 LP helped in many ways during the beginning months of the pandemic.
I'm proud to say that I bought and beat XC3. Because of Emile. Because of his passion and love for this series and how much care he put into those videos. But for now, I patiently await the day until he uploads the first video of the LP for XC3. With me playing along, of course!
Congrats Nintendo on actually picking people who genuinely are passionate for the Xenoblade Chronicles series instead of what Amazon did for LotR the Rings of Power, namely hiring fake influencers who turned out to not even be Tolkien fans in the end.
One of the few games where I made sure to do every single side mission! A lot of love went into this game!

I'm glad that they got Chuggaa, but I'm eleated to see that they are aware of the people who love these games in a big way. Not only that but I hope they are taking criticism into account. I love XBC3, and all the XBC games, and I just want to see them take criticisms into account. Feels like the last 2 chapters in 3 could have used another few months for writing/wrapping stuff up. Dont worry we'll accept a delay for a better ending!
I really wish they take this into account in the DLC
A better villain(as a XC3 MAIN VILLAIN fan, i think that he could be better and just like Zanza got an improvement through later media, i feel like the XC3 one may get his own Architect)
Disable Chain attack music (i love it but playing in Main Story Boss battles is very annoying)
Send a pay off for the awful final dungeon and explain more about the whole Origin Shenanigan be the DLC a Prequel or a Sequel

@@Touma_S well, it wasnt necessarily corrupted by moebius. Moebius are simply the fear of all the people stored in Origin. They manifested and coalesced into Z. Which is an amazing concept, but the dont explain it in the game properly, its left up to the player to really think a little bit about it to truly get Origin and Z.
I also wouldnt say Origin was an awful final dungeon (speaking the person youre replying to). I quite liked Origin, but I was so annoyed that I knew the game wasnt going to have a big twist or exposition dump that it soured the mood for me.
WOW. Didn't expect Chugga here. I guess your playthough of XC1 and XC2 must have reached someone at Nintendo or Monolithsoft.
Xenoblade Chronicles Saga is one of my favourite games of all time. I really hope we see more entries in the future.

Chugga's assessment that Xenoblade combines the best of JRPGs and WRPGs is probably why I love it more than any other RPG, J or otherwise.
Such a shame that Elden Ring is for sure gonna be game of the year because it's a lot more popular. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is for sure my game of the year. Everything about it is perfect.

About starting with this xenoblade, you can, you will understand most of the story, however, towards the end of the game the game will start to introduce you to characters and concepts that will pay off way more if you've played the previous two games, the ending is isolated from those 2 games, you'll understand everything in it, but this game feels like a love letter from monolith to the xenoblade fans, story, locales you'll explore and gameplay, these three will make much more sence if you play all the games, you might be questioning why gameplay and it's something that eventually clicks if you played the previous games, I think you'll like the world of Aionios way more if you play both XC1 and XC2, it's a tall order I know, but for those who are up to the task, there you go
It's cool to see another marketing push from Nintendo. I am really curious to see where the game ends up sales wise.
I do feel like it's a shame that the previous two games especially XC2 didn't get the same level of acceptance from the gaming community but oh well XC3 did it.
Im glad nintendo included chugga, arguably he got so many people into this franchise.
