      I followed the same measurements and method, but mine also became chewy. I kept it on low flame again and cooked for some time, but all the ghee oozed out and it became crumbly. Semma flop. Waste of ingredients!

      One string consistency is very important for Mysorepak.. if u over cook it will become too hard..

      @@EasyHealthyFoodRecipes I also added the gram flour mixture only after getting one string consistency. But still it was chewy. And I kept on low flame again and cooked only for few minutes, but the ghee started coming out and it became crumbly. I'm glad ur recipe worked for u, but it didn't work for me, and I won't be trying this again. Thank you!
