Armadyl Featherbreeze my ps2 racing games were: burnout revenge, juiced, midnight club 3 dub edition, grand turismo 4, off road wide open and ofc NFS most wanted, carbon, underground, underground 2 and undercover. I have like 40 non racing games too, all still ready to play ;)
Honestly I don't give a shit if burnout paradise doesn't have crash mode. Burnout 1 dominator and paradise didn't have crash mode and they were good. And paradise's damage model pre ultimate box was amazing. Post is still good but just a bit worse.
Am I the only one here liking road Rage way more than crash mode? Probably not :D (Burnout 3 is Love, Burnout 3 is Life.... the soundtrack of that game is just perfect)
GERstarBROT Sometimes I sit down to play Burnout 3 and just want to cry. To this day Burnout 3 is in my top 5 racing games... truly is one of the best games...
I had Burnout Revenge on my original Xbox back in the day and I think it's my favourite game from this franchise. It was stylish, unique and dynamic, even though I was playing it with crappy Russian translation which I couldn't turn off. Thank you for reminding me of those cool times, dude! In love with your channel, you're doing a great job ;)
I'd rather they just make a new Burnout game from scratch with a larger map, new cars and new music. Burnout Paradise still looks decent even now, there is no reason to remaster it in my opinion.
But the online feature was good in Paradise; I would rather prefer endless fun in with the online feature in Paradise City than the Crash Mode in Revenge, although Crash Mode was really fun.
+Mr. IDGAF I personally think the worst part of Paradise is the lack of story mode, the crash mode in Paradise is the original Insurance Fraud that released with Saints Row 3 and that was insanely fun, all this is on Burnout 2 and 3 is normal crashes It's not as fun as Paradises imo
To be honest, I'm happy there was no proper crash mode in Paradise, because then I'd probably be forced to play it to unlock cars. And I kinda hate the crash mode in the older games.
I know of a racing game that is even worse! It is Racedriver GRID! The reason why the game sucks is because of the opponents. It is extremely hard to pass them, because they drive carelessly. If you try to pass an opponent, the opponent can crash into you, even when it isn't a demolition derby. You spin out, and fall back to last place. The car might also get wrecked. If the car is wrecked, it is game over, and you have to start the race over. The opponents also don't care about their position or any other opponents whatsoever. They all brake too early, and you can't pass them, because they block you in the corners. It is like teenage girls fighting their way through the big circle of fans to get to meet for example Justin Bieber or something. It is crazy. Sometimes you can't drive normally through a corner. You have to drift through it. It is easy, but also annoying at the same time. You might crash into an opponent, which causes you to spin out, crash, and get your car totally obliterated by the opponents behind you. Easy mode is not very easy at all. I know that the hardest gamemode is truly hard, but it is the same procedure for easy mode too. Easy mode is also hard, and that is because of all I've said. So I suggest that you make a gameplay video of Racedriver GRID, so we can show how hard the game actually is. Trust me! It is going to make you rage more than ever.
to get the save to work, get the save from the digital version and put in the actual save file from your digital version into the digital save's folder and it should work
It's easy to understand why we got Showtime. They wanted to implement the crash mode in the open world, and that's the way they did it. You can't really have dynamic crash mode puzzles. Maybe it should have been a specific event type instead of something you can do anywhere.
multiplayer needed a complete rework. I enjoy the free roam , but it sacrifices any co-op racing or progression in the online. The only thing that we end up doing is driving to wildcats baseball stadium then usually the lobby died
PS2 Burnout Revenge > XBOX Burnout Revenge. Idk if it’s something up with updates, but there’s no annoying cheering on ps2 and the menu screen is so much cooler. it shows concept art on the loading screens instead of that 3D car every time. The rest of the game just looks so much cleaner because even though the main thing that made me love burnout was that “in your face action” that made it always feel like you were doing something crazy but sometimes there can be too much. Too bad there was no PlayStation exclusive car.
VirtualRicer I wish more racing games had a menu screen like revenge's own. There's something so wicked about seeing you're last used car just drive in infinite fast speeds, dodging traffic while listening to unwritten law's F.I.G.H.T blast in the background. Good ass things like that makes the game so special to me!
nobody cares about paradise, give us a Burnout Revenge Let's Play!!!!!!!!! also in revenge you can ram traffic cars going the same direction into others before you get to the intersections and in all other game modes. Burnout Revenge will always be the Best of the Burnouts...next to that NFS Most wanted (2012) aka Burnout Paradise 2 with Licensed Cars
I've just realized how great my childhood actually was, it consisted of Need for Speed: Most Wanted and Burnout Revenge. I'm so damn lucky, it's just a shame I don't have my old Xbox still :(
Guys, it was a fully open world free roam game. They put in an easydrive menu so it would never take you away from that. How could have there been a crash mode in Paradise?
I 100% get this video Previous crash modes you hit a speed boost then attack a ramp with precise direction into the best poissble area with a car buildup then you cause carnage We’re as Burnout paradise just a simple L1 and R1 and bounce around. Gg panther
I never played the big Burnouts. But my dad bought me a PSP back in 2006 and i played burnout legends (witch i loved) and it looks like a mini version of burnout 3. Even made one of the cars from cardboard in the game.
Hey i got a lil tip if u play crash mode more on burnout 2 u play on the original XBOX theres this truck jack knife glitch and basically burnout 2 version of crash breaker! I know u might not react to this comment but im just letting ya know!
They Actually experimented with a Crash Mode intersections but I things didn't work out to be too practical because of the open world nature of the game.
Danger Zone is also available on Xbox One and i bought it... I'm just waiting for Burnout Revenge + 3 Takedown to become backwards compatible. Hope so very soon
In burnout 3 takedown there was a level where you could crash your car on a bridge then crashbreaker off the bridge on to the highway below. I had a crash that froze my original xbox on that level XD
Nashan The Name Dominator was more like a mix between 3 and 1 than Revenge. It doesn't have a crash mode but it does have the classic boost chaining strategy.
I was going to give a thumb down if you don't play burnout revenge, and thank goodness you played it. From my perspective, I will say I love that we're able to rack monster score on burnout paradise crash mode just by juggle the cars and hit stuff, they make it more simple and easily rack big scores in them. For the lazy me, I love it. You don't have to do much. Just steer the wreck, hit stuff, and you'll be fine. But in burnout revenge, they made you think. They show you the crash scene, where the traffics are flowing, which side you should need to approach, etc. we have to give our best shot every time we hit that accel button. Failed getting a gold? Then retry until you get it. There's a sense of "grinding for gold" in it. No gold, no continue. For me, it's time consuming. Crashbreaker levels for the car are just gimmicks that make it sooo good to watch. But if you can't find gold that quick, it'll getting old. The way burnout paradise crash mode going made the game as it is. So does burnout revenge. Again, it's from my perspective, and I played both games if you ask if I'm being a smart ass.
Paradise is fantastic indeed. Played it for ages online on PC and 360... But what I really want is just a Burnout HD pack from Burnout 1 to Revenge. Tho crash mode in Takedown is the one I had the most fun with.
Balc0ra's Gaming If i recall Dominator also was for PS2 but i think it ran kinda bad... Could be wrong, haven't played Dominator in almost 10 YEARS. Which i think is because of the 10 year anniversary of Paradise Edit: in the first place
Was it? I only have it on PSP. And from what I recall. It's basically handheld takedown. As it's the same locations etc. Tho fun all those years ago. I suspect it's not aged to well vs the other titles.
Makes me glad Paradise is my first experience of the Burnout series; I only recently was introduced to it and loved it right away. It took me such a long time to beat the game (1 month), but so great to drive the gold & platinum vehicles. Road Rage is the most played. :-D ... it's the xbox 360 version, no DLC, because free.
I’m pretty sure the crash paradise wasn’t half assed, it was full fledged because it’s more complicated then the burnout 2, and it requires a better engine
I mean you're not completely wrong with the crappy "crash" system that Burnout Paradise has. It was really annoying at times when you activate it and no traffic cars would spawn after a while. Causing you to screw up a run. Getting 102% on the game was extremely tedious. Especially due to the 500/500 Freeburn Challenges. I'm getting really bad flashbacks of a ton of uncooperative rooms trying to complete the 5-7 player Freeburn Challenges...
I don't know, BlackPanthaa. I thought Crash Mode, or "Showtime", as DJ Atomika refers to it in Burnout Paradise, was pretty good and well done. We all know Burnout 3 is the best game Criterion ever made, Burnout Paradise is a very close second. I think I made that very clear
Burnout paradise is still my personal favourite, I'll swap a little crash mode for the freedom paradise gives you, it way more entertaining with friends
I personally hate Crash Mode and hope it never appears in Burnout again (one of the reasons I love Dominator) and for me, it has ruined Burnout Revenge, a game I would say is perfect if it didn't have it. Crash Mode completely changed the pace of the game and made it more about luck than actual fun. On the other hand, I love Showtime. I think it suits Burnout much better than Crash Mode because it is fast-paced and actually fun.
For every topic with an enlightened soul, ahem... those of us who absolutely hated 'Paradise', right from the jump, there are more of us who passed final judgment because it became a DLC-pay2win game, in online play. Burnout 3 and Revenge were just 'fun'. They had excellent soundtracks, good family/friends/newcomer value and the difficulty was still present ~ you might know the track 90% but the oncoming traffic.. the boost meter.. anything could be just slightly off enough to make that run a fail. Paradise? Awful soundtrack, online play sucked after the first year, and getting around the city is extremely hit-or-miss ~ too many twists and turns, too much debris, TOO MANY POPUP NOTIFICATIONS! Example: Every time you knocked down a gate, billboard, got into an unskippable 5 second crash-cam.. just frustrating. And crash mode was where the fans were at. Paradise is for people who used to like NFS. Not burnout fanservice. And for anyone who likes paradise and would defend it.. well, you dont like it enough.. and we ACTUAL burnout fans hate it enough.. that where is paradise 2 at? Huh? It killed the series. But burnout for handheld copied 3/revenge ~ because that was the real game.

In burnout I don't really care much about crash mode, to be honest I find it kinda boring.
Slid Wheel same
Slid Wheel it’s fun the first couple of times then it just becomes a chore. Takedown is still the best Burnout in my opinion followed by revenge.
But, the earlier burnouts were more focused on crashing. Paradise wasn’t.
That kid From RUclips there's no explosions
Ken Pacheco theres no traffic either
Burnout Revenge was my childhood
Konrad Godel mine too :D
Armadyl Featherbreeze my ps2 racing games were: burnout revenge, juiced, midnight club 3 dub edition, grand turismo 4, off road wide open and ofc NFS most wanted, carbon, underground, underground 2 and undercover. I have like 40 non racing games too, all still ready to play ;)

Crash junctions were my childhood
Saaaame.
I actually liked the crash mode in Burnout Paradise. The overall concept was cool but poorly executed.
How so?

Crashing in Burnout? *YEEEEEEEEEEEE*

Things I dislike about Paradise:
- No Crash mode
- No Crashbreaker or Aftertouch
- No medals
Honestly I don't give a shit if burnout paradise doesn't have crash mode. Burnout 1 dominator and paradise didn't have crash mode and they were good. And paradise's damage model pre ultimate box was amazing. Post is still good but just a bit worse.
TheWhiteMage How did they change the crash model in the "Ultimate Box"??
Search Burnout Paradise beta (not burnout 5) damage model.
Or to make it easier. Search up pre free update damage model.
Am I the only one here liking road Rage way more than crash mode? Probably not :D (Burnout 3 is Love, Burnout 3 is Life.... the soundtrack of that game is just perfect)

You don't like Criterion on NFS, WTF! Most Wanted 2012 was sexy af. I hope it gets remastered.
I'd rather they just make a new Burnout game from scratch with a larger map, new cars and new music. Burnout Paradise still looks decent even now, there is no reason to remaster it in my opinion.
For me *Burnout 3 Takedown* was a masterpiece. The sound of everything was amazing the music beyond amazing
I love how Dominator doesn't fucking exist lol
Julien D. :^) Dominator didn't have a crash mode...was pretty much a revamped Burnout 1
Burnout Revenge was all time my favorite crash mode
Burnout Revenge was the racing game of my childhood, THEY RUINED CRASH MODE
But the online feature was good in Paradise; I would rather prefer endless fun in with the online feature in Paradise City than the Crash Mode in Revenge, although Crash Mode was really fun.
Revenge had online too.
+Mr. IDGAF I personally think the worst part of Paradise is the lack of story mode, the crash mode in Paradise is the original Insurance Fraud that released with Saints Row 3 and that was insanely fun, all this is on Burnout 2 and 3 is normal crashes It's not as fun as Paradises imo

that’s what she said
My fav Burnout was Brnout revenge but i admit i didnt really play through paradise.
To be honest, I'm happy there was no proper crash mode in Paradise, because then I'd probably be forced to play it to unlock cars. And I kinda hate the crash mode in the older games.
I looked and it said 3 views. Clicked. It said 2.4k views.

There are good and bad burnout games too.. BUT NONE OF THEM SUCK! Trust me!
I agree. I never liked Criterion with NFS. They did well with Most Wanted...... but I did not like it in the beginning. Rivals, I don't like.
Not having “crash mode” isn’t a deal breaker for me. Simply because I forgot it even existed.
It's easy to understand why we got Showtime. They wanted to implement the crash mode in the open world, and that's the way they did it. You can't really have dynamic crash mode puzzles. Maybe it should have been a specific event type instead of something you can do anywhere.
burnout revenge > burnout paradise
nyasha takawira - Not at all...
Burnout 3 and Paradise are the best titles! 👌
They are even the most popular ones!
burnout 3 i liked but paradise didnt work for me
True .Burnout revenge is so much better
Burnout 3: Takedown is my all-time favorite, and it should have been remastered instead of Burnout Paradise. Burnout Paradise still has multiplayer.
Burnout Revenge on PS2 was my favourite Burnout game, the crash mode added a layer of difficulty and made you think.
multiplayer needed a complete rework. I enjoy the free roam , but it sacrifices any co-op racing or progression in the online. The only thing that we end up doing is driving to wildcats baseball stadium then usually the lobby died

I've just realized how great my childhood actually was, it consisted of Need for Speed: Most Wanted and Burnout Revenge. I'm so damn lucky, it's just a shame I don't have my old Xbox still :(
That Rocky Mountain area at the end. THAT needs to be in GTA. We need a whole new map that goes across the entire country.
Instead of marked man, maybe introduce crash junctions where there will be traffic at a certain point that you have to crash into
Burnout 3 was great on the ps2, overall the best burnout game for me. But the crash mode on revenge was something else.
we need a remastered version of burnout 2 or burnout revenge, stuff ur burnout paradise
03LUNDGREN What about Burnout 3 Takedown :
Duster PL Exactly!! BURNOUT 3 was the BOMB!!
One if not the most popular Burnout game in the franchise! 👌
True
"I like when things are hard"
Guys, it was a fully open world free roam game. They put in an easydrive menu so it would never take you away from that. How could have there been a crash mode in Paradise?
Staying up round a friends house playing burn out REVENGE trying to beat each other's score. Paradise can't hold a candle to those days
Lol for a second I thought the title said "one person", and thought he was going to talk about the lack of split screen...
I 100% get this video
Previous crash modes you hit a speed boost then attack a ramp with precise direction into the best poissble area with a car buildup then you cause carnage
We’re as Burnout paradise just a simple L1 and R1 and bounce around.

Burnout 3 was the best to me. I loved the music to, that game got me into listening to music. The good old days lol
Burnout 3 has the best crash mode
Revenge was the best
Hey i got a lil tip if u play crash mode more on burnout 2 u play on the original XBOX theres this truck jack knife glitch and basically burnout 2 version of crash breaker! I know u might not react to this comment but im just letting ya know!
I didn't really care that the crash mode was missing in Paradise. The game mode I had more fun with was Road Rage.
I really thought you were going to say "No GPS" LOL most people can't map read these days and find Paradise baffling!
I didn't even know there was a crash mode in Burnout Paradise and I must have put easily over 100 hours in that game.
In burnout 3 takedown there was a level where you could crash your car on a bridge then crashbreaker off the bridge on to the highway below. I had a crash that froze my original xbox on that level XD
WHERE'S BURNOUT DOMINATOR?
Parkski Gaming That was basically Burnout Revenge on PSP
IKR? XD
Nashan The Name Dominator was more like a mix between 3 and 1 than Revenge. It doesn't have a crash mode but it does have the classic boost chaining strategy.
Dominator never had a crash mode
EvXiTZzViper 408 Well, I expected a mention like the first Burnout.
Something like: "And there's Dominator... But there's no crash mode" XD
I'd love it if they remastered these games as they are my favourite so I hope they remaster the others
That Burnout 3 takedown is my old Game back when i Junior highschool I LOVE THAT burnout series
*TAKE ME DOWN TO THE PARADISE CITY WHERE THE GRASS IS GREEN AND THE GIRLS ARE PREETY*
Paradise is fantastic indeed. Played it for ages online on PC and 360... But what I really want is just a Burnout HD pack from Burnout 1 to Revenge. Tho crash mode in Takedown is the one I had the most fun with.
Balc0ra's Gaming you forgot Dominator
That's basically takedown on PSP. So I did not really consider it.
Balc0ra's Gaming If i recall Dominator also was for PS2 but i think it ran kinda bad... Could be wrong, haven't played Dominator in almost 10 YEARS. Which i think is because of the 10 year anniversary of Paradise
Edit: in the first place
Was it? I only have it on PSP. And from what I recall. It's basically handheld takedown. As it's the same locations etc. Tho fun all those years ago. I suspect it's not aged to well vs the other titles.
Just looked it up and it was for PS2 also. Though i never played the PS2 version.
Makes me glad Paradise is my first experience of the Burnout series; I only recently was introduced to it and loved it right away.
It took me such a long time to beat the game (1 month), but so great to drive the gold & platinum vehicles. Road Rage is the most played.
:-D
... it's the xbox 360 version, no DLC, because free.
Burnout doesn’t work in an open world location. Revenge was by far the most fun
If I remember Burnout Paradise’s crash mode was added in after it was released right?
Criterion was Burnout, EA destroyed them when they took Criterion over and gutted them.
I’m pretty sure the crash paradise wasn’t half assed, it was full fledged because it’s more complicated then the burnout 2, and it requires a better engine
and they say that certain "spin-off" makes up the lack of that mode. PFFTTT
Aww, no intention to cover the spiritual successors in Dangerous Golf, and Danger Zone 1 and 2?
Yay they got a shout out at the end. :D
I was like crying that you werent aiming for the fuel tankers. They fuckin explode and when you blow them up they're 100k a piece.
One thing I don't like about Paradise is there are NO explosions
I don't know, BlackPanthaa. I thought Crash Mode, or "Showtime", as DJ Atomika refers to it in Burnout Paradise, was pretty good and well done.
We all know Burnout 3 is the best game Criterion ever made, Burnout Paradise is a very close second.
I think I made that very clear
Incorrect title
3:56 me too
Burnout Revenge is my favorite. I wish they could put in the crashbreaker in Paradise remastered at least.
Paradise Sucks! Never Player more then 30min.. My Fav is Revenge! Thats The Burnout!!
This video brought back so many memories! Thanks for posting!
Burnout revenge has the best of everything in my opinion.
Crash, cars, soundtrack, gameplay, replay ability, races EVERYTHING. It’s just the best.
Burnout paradise is still my personal favourite, I'll swap a little crash mode for the freedom paradise gives you, it way more entertaining with friends
In burnout paradise my favorite car to drive was the Krieger arhakno. 616 sport.
*Do you like NFS rivals?*
xXMediaTrix no
Yeah.
NFS Rivals is a good game but it doesn't feels like A NFS at all
Ellioto Rubio :v it feels like a Hot Pursuit: Upgraded.
Rivals is a decent game but doesnt feel like nfs
When you get rammed in the ass and lose all control. That is the one reason I do not play this game.
It depends on the car and the speed.
Nomak - Anger of the Earth in the background❤
Personally i preferred Burnout Paradise crash mode because i found it more flush with freemode and it felt really smooth to me
Imagine Driver SF and it’s shifting abilities combined with Burnout 2. Best crashing game to date!
Ah....burnout paradise, the first game I went Platinum on PS3 with....and that p12 Diamond took ages to unlock, but it was worth it!
Take me me down to the Paradise city where the grass in pretty and the girls are green. Oh won't you please take me home.
"I like when things are hard"
Burnout Paradise Crash Mode is hard
I personally hate Crash Mode and hope it never appears in Burnout again (one of the reasons I love Dominator) and for me, it has ruined Burnout Revenge, a game I would say is perfect if it didn't have it.
Crash Mode completely changed the pace of the game and made it more about luck than actual fun.
On the other hand, I love Showtime. I think it suits Burnout much better than Crash Mode because it is fast-paced and actually fun.

But burnout for handheld copied 3/revenge ~ because that was the real game.
is this whole video about burnout paradise or just basically a complaint about crash mode i’m a bit confused
Crash mode looks great but it just doesn't suit Paradise well. Then again, maybe if it had been a completely separate DLC then that would have worked.
Your videos are awesome BP, keep it up 😁👌
@BlackPanthaa Danger Zone is also on STEAM for PC
What I hate about Burnout is the garbage drifting and swerving. And why is there no JPS? Or a thing called REATARTING THE RACE!?
What system are you gonna be playing burnout remaster?? Cause I want the 💎 p12 as well
Not gonna lie I did not know burnout paradise had a crash mode.....
