It's also one of the reasons I want to see more of Celestia and Fluttershy together, as well as Luna and Rarity had their moments
One thing I would state is that moments like the kind she had in Horse Play would not have had the same impact if that was a first season episode. The amount of character development they've given to Celly over the years is refreshing and surprising, and seeing her be silly like that has all the more impact because we recognize the weight and poise of her role normally. There's a lot of subtle things the show's writers do to develop characters over time, and I feel like Celestia is one of the best character development arcs in all of animation.

It’s nice to see Celestia portrayed more relatable, and shown noticeably uncomfortable when anyone treats disappointing her like a cardinal sin. That’s what made “Horse Play” so hard for me to watch. Twilight should’ve known that about Celestia better than anyone else, but the lengths she went to keep her terrible acting a secret felt... almost sycophantic.
Now hopefully Twilight has learned better (finally). Well, I mean it only took what, eight seasons to get over her Celestia-worship? Everybody takes their own time to rid themselves of negative character traits, I guess.
Another problem with the episode is how it shows Luna is still not appreciated as Celestia is. Like that play should be celebrating Luna raising the moon too, like.. raising the moon is just as important as raising the sun.

But for decades she was raising both the sun and moon while Luna was trapped in the moon as Nightmare moon. So... did she just forget what it felt like? Or what?
I always figured Celestia had some of Luna's magic when Luna was banished. And when Luna came back, Celestia gave it back and Luna's mane looked like it used to.

As my second favorite princess in the show I love celestia and in every moment that she had keeps reminding me that she’s a great ruler,leader, and teacher she i even love all the princesses in mlp Celestia is the best princess to all and some members of the fandom and she even loves to joke around with her subjects and friends alike that’s what I like about her.

On one hand, I feel dirty for watching mlp. But on the other hand, there are great fights. Not just with the power of friendship, but actual fighting and hurting your opponent. I've only watched up to twilight vs tirek a few years ago. Sad to say, can't remember much.

Celestia's reaction is the definition of Grace; rather than respond with anger or disgust, she quietly revels in Pinkie's joy. Also, the scene from that same episode in which Celestia plays out her role in Philomena's trolling to the very end should have gotten at least an honorable mention.
