Thanks for the vid. Just a note, integer rounding is when you have a decimal and the figure needs to be rounded to the nearest integer, thus eliminating the decimal positions. eg. 1987.59 = 1988

very unorganized and there is no clear flow for your content. Very confusing. I hope these videos to be scripted again with a proper flow instead of jumping to different section without completing the main idea.

Hi, thanks for the very nicely explained video. I have a question I hope you could answer:
I would like to have a setup where I'll import the daily attendance from a biometric machine or excel sheet and based on the no. of hours the employee has worked I would like to prepare the salary. For example: An employee checks in at 9 AM and checks out at 9:30 PM. I would want this entry be calculated as 8 hours of regular pay along with an Overtime of 4 hours shown as Additional Pay (Overtime) salary component in the salary slip. So basically at the end of the month when I create the salary slip it should calculate the salary based on the number of hours the employee has worked throughout the month and any Overtime to be calculated separately as a separate salary component say Additional Pay (Overtime). Can this be accomplished in ErpNext? If so, can you please shed some light on how to do this? I have tried a few but have confused myself even more by not knowing whether I should use the Timesheet component (from your example) or just setup the monthly pay as Base Pay and then have a way to calculate the total number of hours worked as over time which is any time worked after the daily 8 hours schedule and add that to the base pay as Additional Pay (OverTime). I would really appreciate if you can direct me to the right direction to accomplish this. Thank you for your time in advance.
