I don't think so. They clearly are steps ahead and know they are working together hence why they had that small bomb on the car of the cop in episode 2. the frontman knows his brother didn't say anything and that's why he entered the games if his brother had told Gihun he would've found out and changed his plans.
I always thought that Gi-Hun didn’t want to let them know he played because he’d probably know they’d have a hard time believing him. And as far as I can tell, the plan was for the search team to come in before the game started since the ceiling opened up and it would be easy to spot. So tbh there would be no point for him to reveal he’d played the games if the game never starts. And after he realizes the tracker was taken out he had to take action.

No. 11's motivation I thought was a combination of the money (because soldiers get compensated too) and her mysterious "loyalty" to the man who hired her. She needs the money to keep looking for her baby and working in the games is just another job where she can earn enough to do that. Of course, in the time of year the games aren't running, she has to resort to other jobs like the one at the amusement park. Great reaction as always! @@yolandag8436 Yeah, I looked back on the episode and I think that's a fair assessment. But rather than just numbing the pain, it's probably that she's taken up the young girl with cancer as a kind of surrogate for her baby. So after visiting her at the hospital, she probably decided that she'd go back to the games this time to pay for her treatment instead. And that's probably why she was taken aback by seeing the girl's dad in the game (along with the obvious shock of seeing someone you recognize). But yeah, I think you're definitely right about her slowly inching towards giving up.
I personally thought it was more the act of juggling multiple relationships, sort of like “How tf am I supposed to manage to take care of two women, let alone one” 😂, plus having to tiptoe around and keep the other woman a secret
1) For episode 3 I thought Gihun should have tried before the game to make the guards admit that they kill people. He knows they wouldnt say it on their own but when all these other people asked questions he could have be like: "And if we lose, can we leave after that? What happens when we lose?" and try at least.

24:50 You're wrong on that. In season 1, they can only leave if the majority voted to leave (remember old Il-Nam being the last to vote X?) same as season 2. The difference that I see is in season 2 if they voted to leave they can't come back to continue the game because all the money accumulated have been distributed to all survived contestants.

I think it's interesting that Yong-Sik's mother was able to enter the games, as all other contestants were in debt and sought after by the recruiters, except for her. Yong-Sik didn't even know she'd be there until they were on the island. Although, she could've been in debt and just not said it in the show, as she wanted the prize money to pay off her son's debt
i think they used her son's situation to convince her to join since loan sharks are after his son and threatened him that they would take his organs so maybe he also signed a waiver of physical rights or something and the recruiter told her about it
from what i understand, while ppl in debt are a large portion of the players, they also just target the truly vulnerable and downtrodden people they can find who’s situations they can take advantage of. like for instance, jiyeon in s1, they recruited her right out of jail and she accepted bc she didn’t have anywhere else to go
Oscar don't let Frontman manipulate you. Yes, there is truth to his story about his wife but not completely. His wife is already dead, remember the cop went to visit her grave in episode 1. But yes the reason he played the first time was because his wife was pregnant but then got cancer I think and needed a transplant but he didn't have money it, he was also a cop like his brother and began taking bribes presumably to pay for his wife treatment probably got fired and thats why he enter the game and won. But just like Gihun mom, his wife didn't make it. Somewhere down the road he got convinced to become the frontman but we don't know yet why or how.
what i enjoyed about season 2 is that it seems to have more of what made season 1 so great: focus on the character and relationship dynamics amidst such "games" they do the character building sooo well i guess what could help going forward with the season though is to be aware that season 2 and 3 were supposed to be one combined season at first - quite a few people were disappointed with the last episode because it felt unfinished. and that's because basically it is unfinished. of course that can still be a point of critique but maybe it's easier to accept as a story progression if one knows it's supposed to be the interlude for season 3
The game is not really like tug of war because both teams can win. They don't have to be faster or catch up to the other team. What matters is finishing all the games in 5 minutes.
I assume that was Front Man’s story when he entered the games that he won, but I don’t think we know how he ended up in his current position yet. Maybe once his wife died he thought f*ck it. I hope we get to learn.
I have made a very interesting observation but I want to talk about it after you've hit the finale (ep 7). So I don't forget I'll put it down here: (spoilers/theory:) OK? So I find it very interesting that Gi Hun hasn't learned the lesson from the finale last time around. The whole game was watching if someone would help the poor man outside, where Gi-hun never realised *he* could be the person outside. That he, himself, can be the solution. These people stay in the games because of the money. What would happen if Gi-hun offered to pay off all their debts? He has the money. He himself can be the solution here again, but he can't see it.
well, the amount of people with big debts far surpasses the amount of money he really has- even if he paid off all 454 players' debts before the game, they would just find new people with debts, and get them to play. and if he pays those, theyll find newer people. no matter what he can do there, eventually, he'll run out of money to give, but there will always be more people with debts. I doubt he can pay off everyone in Korea's debts.
I know I should dislike him, but I find Thanos very entertaining (and not as bad as Sang-woo). Even though he has certain tactics, the guy does have charm and he's strangely social. Like adding Min-su here 38:53 I think it helps that the other guy, Nam Gyu (player 124) seems way crueller and mean, so we see Thanos as slightly better whenever they bounce off each other. (Is one as good as the company they keep?)
I was watching this while working. When the frontman put the needle on for that song "fly me to the moon" to play, an ad about a laundry soap started to play with its own song. I was SO CONFUSED 😂😂😂😂😂.
Sometimes it really bothers me that they associate 'being in a ton of debt' as being 'trash'. To be honest, the people who came up with this game and a lot of the pink suits and the guy who we learned shot his dad and plays games with regular citizens just for fun, now THEY are more trash, wouldn't you say?
While I enjoyed watching season 2, I still prefer season 1 just because the new one, like you said, focused too much on dialogue. I hated the role of the Shaman. That character was basically useless and added nothing of value to the story. (no hate for the actress. I'm sure she's great but that character was not well thought out)

i think they used her son's situation to convince her to join since loan sharks are after his son and threatened him that they would take his organs so maybe he also signed a waiver of physical rights or something and the recruiter told her about it
from what i understand, while ppl in debt are a large portion of the players, they also just target the truly vulnerable and downtrodden people they can find who’s situations they can take advantage of. like for instance, jiyeon in s1, they recruited her right out of jail and she accepted bc she didn’t have anywhere else to go
NOT THE CLIFFHANGER
Oscar don't let Frontman manipulate you. Yes, there is truth to his story about his wife but not completely. His wife is already dead, remember the cop went to visit her grave in episode 1. But yes the reason he played the first time was because his wife was pregnant but then got cancer I think and needed a transplant but he didn't have money it, he was also a cop like his brother and began taking bribes presumably to pay for his wife treatment probably got fired and thats why he enter the game and won. But just like Gihun mom, his wife didn't make it. Somewhere down the road he got convinced to become the frontman but we don't know yet why or how.
what i enjoyed about season 2 is that it seems to have more of what made season 1 so great: focus on the character and relationship dynamics amidst such "games"
they do the character building sooo well
i guess what could help going forward with the season though is to be aware that season 2 and 3 were supposed to be one combined season at first - quite a few people were disappointed with the last episode because it felt unfinished. and that's because basically it is unfinished. of course that can still be a point of critique but maybe it's easier to accept as a story progression if one knows it's supposed to be the interlude for season 3
21:23 It's also great if he gets out, cuz he can reconvine with his men, maybe get a new tracker etc. But Gi-Hun also wants to stop the games.
The game is not really like tug of war because both teams can win. They don't have to be faster or catch up to the other team. What matters is finishing all the games in 5 minutes.
15:28 LMAO i had the exact same reaction 😆i did not think for a second that there was drugs inside bro
I don’t have a Netflix subscription so thank you for keeping me up with modern times 😆
Why is he didn’t upload the next video? 😢 it’s a day late already ☹️
Same question😂 i was searching for it. And he still hasent post now
None of my friends like Squid Game, it's nice watching it with you all. :)
I got the notification and I clicked in a second looking forward to you're reaction
Yay!!!! Omg can’t believe I’m a day late 😭😭
i loved that bee girl 😞
I assume that was Front Man’s story when he entered the games that he won, but I don’t think we know how he ended up in his current position yet. Maybe once his wife died he thought f*ck it. I hope we get to learn.
I have made a very interesting observation but I want to talk about it after you've hit the finale (ep 7). So I don't forget I'll put it down here: (spoilers/theory:)
OK?
I doubt he can pay off everyone in Korea's debts.
as a trans woman i really thought squid game had a great trans character
around 40:00 ..yes both team can make it :) you will see that next episode . So it is not replacement for Tug-of-War .
I have waited so long for this reaction. I’m so happy. I love your reactions I think they’re so funny!
You’re my favorite reactor.
Mark my words, that shawoman will be the mrs. Carmody of Squid Game season 3.
If you havent watched yet I would also recommend watching sweet home (korean) or Alice in borderland (japanese). Both on netflix 😊
9:49 I think he probably meant he wouldn’t have the wherewithal to even have an affair
yeah that’s what I thought too
Just in time for my dinner. Thanks. Love your reaction.
It's the strawberry hats girl's dad that the shooter recognized 😊
8:37 someone whos PLAYED THESE GAMES BEFORE
HE HAS PLAYED THESE GAMES BEFORE
unfunny ahh nga
not 'they'. hyun-ju goes by 'she/her'.
Please watch the tinker bell movies! I think you’d really like them. Love your videos ☺️☺️
I know I should dislike him, but I find Thanos very entertaining (and not as bad as Sang-woo).
Even though he has certain tactics, the guy does have charm and he's strangely social. Like adding Min-su here 38:53
I think it helps that the other guy, Nam Gyu (player 124) seems way crueller and mean, so we see Thanos as slightly better whenever they bounce off each other. (Is one as good as the company they keep?)
YES OSCAR, was waiting for this!
Did you ever watch Cloudy with a chance of meatballs2?
I think he did, yes?
3 years worth the wait!
I’m done already waiting for the next reaction from you 😂
Day 2 of asking you to watch all of us are dead

Perfect timing! Love the reactions
you should react and watch death game after finishing this series
What’s that word you said in 0:44? Abajew something…? Is that Australian slang?
😆 I just said “but yeah, without further ado” really fast.
@thecocoacouch
It made me laugh for some reason lmao
Recap from S1: Player 001, or In-Ho, is the previous winner of the Squid Game 2015.
been waiting for this upload
Damn i’m early anyway enjoying another video can’t wait for the next episodes
I was watching this while working. When the frontman put the needle on for that song "fly me to the moon" to play, an ad about a laundry soap started to play with its own song. I was SO CONFUSED 😂😂😂😂😂.
I also found it interesting for the 2nd season.
Yessss another squid game reaction ❤🎉
if you like this you should try Alice in borderland next, super good and kinda similar vibes but wayyy more intense
Hello! thanks you reactions. Please look the descendants
Please, I BEG you to watch Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey
Under an hour (rare because i live in the Netherlands lol) but i havent seen squidgame so ill watch this later :)
With the affair comment I took it as “yea right, like I wasn’t already lucky enough to get my wife” 😂 I love this seasonnnn
Episodes 5 and 6 are my fave so I am looking forward to your next reaction!
43:32 I always think... would a good religious person end up in a situation like that? Nope.
IVE PLAYED THESE GAMES BEFORE!
I really enjoyed these episodes. I got so annoyed when the episode ended when it ended episode four I mean.😂
Day 25: of suggestions my girl (1991)❤
Such a cute guy
Good reaction. Thank you
Finally! Been waiting for this for the past 2 vids for like a week
React to the drama Happiness pleasseee🙏🏻🙏🏻
4:00
When we getting a part 3?
Please part three tomorrow
I wonder if In-ho's speech Gi-hun about his wife is something he told someone when he played the games the year he won.
48:00
While I enjoyed watching season 2, I still prefer season 1 just because the new one, like you said, focused too much on dialogue. I hated the role of the Shaman. That character was basically useless and added nothing of value to the story. (no hate for the actress. I'm sure she's great but that character was not well thought out)
Man I wish you did a 2/3/2 split for this season. The last 2 episodes flow into each other and episodes 4 and 5 feel like they were made to be watched back to back.
12:00
He is not ready for the rest of the episodes…
I love your reactions so much and was so happy when you started reacting to squid game.
Tbh the reason why I have watched season 2 was because of my ultimate bias TOP aka thanos hahahaha I liked the ending of season 1 and it could have ended that way (for me personally), but after wttching season 2 a lot of charakters grw on me.
Also it is crazy how many well known actors or celebs in general are in this season. While watching with my friend we were both screaming "OMGGG HE/SHE IS IN THIS TOO? HOW?? IT MUST HAVE BEEN SO EXPENSIVE" 😂😂😂 a lot of our fav actors are in s2 as well
