I always forget how trippy it is to watch a RUclipsr that lives in the same city/area of the city as me (i'm used to them living in the US somewhere) so when you showed the rainbow in the beginning of the video I was like WAIT I SAW THAT RAINBOW TOO! haha :)

I can attest, I am still tired after working in person😂☠️ it didn’t get easier for me 😩 also agree about distractions in the office! Also agree about being “on” all day, super draining for me as an introvert. Sorry I’m commenting as I watch😂 such an interesting video!

The office environment makes me feel instantly depressed. As a software dev in NYC with over 5 years of experience, I'm NEVER going back to the office ever again. My mental health has never been better. The moment they announce our return, I'm out of the door. Only psychopaths want to return to the office and immerse themselves in fake small talks, fake laughs, office politics, smelly toilets, smelly microwaved foods, being micromanaged and dreadful commutes.
Totally get where you're coming from. I just choose to look on the bright side of things and luckily my workplace is going towards a hybrid model which I appreciate- I try and find things to look forward to in the office!
@@CarterSullivan That's wild you can tolerate hybrid! It's also good that you're able to see the bright side :) I just can't, I physically can't - it's intolerable for me. All it does it drain your soul. The sad part is, it's like this by design. The pandemic was a blessing in disguise for me.
Thank you for taking us along and opening up. I'm still fulltime WFH but this will help me prepare when I do return! 🍁

I totally get the social battery, it’s a lot! For me, I learned to bring noise cancelling headphones with me as a other colleagues would be on calls & it got distracting. Even doing additional work the day before, since working in the office wasn’t as productive for me either!
I did the same, brought my airpods with me & just had some background music on!
Love watching your videos! I work both from home and office. I enjoy working from home more but definitely do like going in the office to interact with my co workers.

Its so overrated interacting w/ coworkers! I enjoy being at home by myself. Having to go back into the office 2 days a week was too much for me. People have nasty habits and i have no time to be getting sick. I am lucky another offer came my way making more $$ and its full time remote 🙌🏽

I have a cozey couch in blue and love it overall! Loved the customization option, being able to bring it to my apartment easily and being able to buy replacement cushions later on. Unfortunately it has been pilling pretty easily though (and it’s just me with no pets) but I’ve used a fabric pilling remover on it and it’s working so far!
Ou this is good to know, thank you for this! Honestly pilling is inevitable especially with a dog w/ claws so that doesn't bother me much!! Pill removers to the rescue 🙌🏻

Do you need an undergrad degree to do what you do? Or only high school diploma?
I have an undergraduate degree and it is necessary for my position and most entry level positions in my hospital. HOWEVER all hospitals and jobs are different so take the time and look into it yourself because my situation might not be the same for yours!

Loved your first day back outfit! Do employers in Canada require you to pay for parking even though your working for them?
Yes they do! I can only speak for the hospital I work at but I pay around $40-50/month for parking!
