Douglas FT35 stationary engine.

This is my newly acquired Douglas, it sounds ok but needs proper setting up and possibly a set of rings to curb it's smoking habit!

That would be cool in a 3/4 scale BMW motorcycle.

A version of these were actually used in Douglas motorcycles. I think some of the internals are interchangeable.

I notice the shielded spark plug wires, is it a military spec engine?

Yes it was part of a military generator set.
