Ok is it just me or are the drivers and pedestrians in New York City complete idiots. It is like they hear the sirens, see the lights and continue pulling out in front of and crossing the street right in front of these courageous, hard working, under paid heroes. I bet if it was there family or property that was in danger they would think entirely different.

I know the citizens of New York love FDNY, but it amazes me how much they take these firefighters for granted. The pedestrian traffic is so seemingly unconcerned and the motorists are worse about the need to yield for the emergency vehicles. I don’t envy anyone who has to drive in the Big Apple and I realize it is easy for me to be critical. Some folks can’t move out of the way. They’re penned-in (so to speak). But others appear simply defiant. On 9-11 we all became New Yorkers and the kinship remains to this day. I suppose that’s why I care.

Westfield ma just got a brand new engine 4 BTW it has an American flag on the grill it has black on top so maybe you should see it someday I saw it if you want to see it just go to Massachusetts fire department W and keep looking until you see westfield click on engine 4 and boom you see it
