Hi Val I too lost my mom this past June 2024 and I haven't been in the Christmas spirit.. I just decided today to do a little shopping and it did help my spirit a little but it's just not the same without my mom.. I know she will always be watching me through her spirit.. your mom too is keeping an eye on you in her spirit. She is at peace now and no more suffering.. that's what I have to remind myself when I'm feeling down.. we are both gonna be ok because God has our backs and He will not fail us and at the end of the day He will continue to comfort us and keep us in His Gentle care.. ❤❤

Hey Queen, your apartment is gorgeous, my son and daughter in law are still grieving my grandson,his birthday was December 21 , which also was my birthday, they a balloon release for his birthday,my grandson was murdered and it hits different because they still have no arrest,this happened in May of this year, I'm so sad ,but God is still good,I love you and keep praying and pressing on 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️❤️❤️❤️

Holiday grief is different. My daughter was born and died on Christmas Eve. She would have been 14. We buried her in yellow. It’s okay to ache and feel. It’s an experience that lingers for a while and that’s okay. She will remain alive because she lives in you….praying for you all. Happy Holidays 🎄

Where the Xmas tree is you can put an end table and lamp. Just my 2¢ as I’ve had the same set up with an apt. before. Take care.
