Alex, the gentleman that runs the Oklahoma City Sewing Machine Museum told me you had cancer but seeing you in his video was the first time it sunk in for me. I hope you are doing well, and my thoughts and prayers are with you. You and your videos have inspired me to start collecting antique and vintage sewing machines. While I focus mainly on Singer, you got me hooked on Willcox and Gibbs, and Raymond/Weir New England machines. I even have a W&G Coalbrookdale machine from 1867...it was 101 years old when I was born! Thank you for the knowledge you have shared and continue to share. I hope one day I will get a machine that you have restored. You've been a great inspiration to me and I'm sure many many others. Sincerely, Steven E, Kansas USA
This is the first time I have seen a Bernina industrial, and in such a beautiful compact cabinet. The brushless motors run so much smoother and quieter and are quite a bit lighter in weight. Thanks so much for sharing this video!
Thank you Alex as always a wonderful video AND I am going to get one of these nice little quiet motors for my old black singer industrial. Did not know you were dealing with Cancer missed this video of the many many I have watched through the years. Just watched your latest video and boy you bounced back and did not know you were off line a bit until I read the comments of your fans and followers. Good to see ! "Can't keep a good man down" as the song goes. All the best to you XOXO from Alberta Canada
I have been watching you for years, thanks for your Sharing you knowledge, get well, looking forward to more great content, I always wanted a singer 201, can't find a good one yet,I did find a singer 301 that purrs like a kitten...
Alex....a flower pot???? I have a fit when my grands set a glass on my cabinet!! So lovely to hear your voice and see you about. Continuing to lift you in prayer.
Hello Alex, Nancy Goldsworth here. I just got for Christmas A Perfect Stitch and your guide to tension adjustment. It was partly your video on free motion work that decided me on a Singer 201k, and it sews beautifully. I hope you get completely better, and wish you and your family a happy new year. Many blessings, and I look forward to your next video. 😊
So wonderful to see you!! Your timing is brilliant as we were just wondering about this last week! Would this work for an old industrial Singer with the oil table?
Loved you in this Video! I have a Singer 15-90. And I just bought a 1.5 VGK motor off ebay, but it gets warm after like 5 minutes, even with the belt quite loose. Would it be worth it to put a Servo on my 15-90?

I have added the motor to many oil-sump machines. Good luck.

There are smaller servo motors for models like yours.
Oh really! Ty. Do you know where I can find those smaller servos?@@alexaskaroff

Hang in isn’t that just a Bernina 850 with a big pulley strapped on the side?
Bernina call it the Industrie, a real work horse for the professional sewer.
