I ran track against a guy who lived a few towns over for four years. I went on to play football in college, and he made the track team at the same university.
We’d catch up now and again, and once I asked him how different college track was to high school.
He blew my mind with the amount of little details like this video shows.
It wasn’t just about getting in shape to run faster. It was checking/improving your stride length, sprinting form and proper weight training.
He even knew how many steps he was supposed to take in his 200 meter dash.
I thought college football was a significant step up from high school, but track and field is right there too.
    Great video

When imitating the running and taking off in one of the drills, you have the athlete rotate their arms around as if doing the full long jump. How would the progression of arm movements look for a triple jump?

You are only limited by your creativity. In this case, the jumper is using a 1.5 hitch-kick arm movement. However, it could be a hang, 2.5 hitch-kick or any number of Triple Jump arm variations. (Since this will primarily be oriented to the Jump phase). I have a video that addresses the Triple Jump arm actions (ruclips.net/video/pteOxJqdl2I/видео.html). I think it gives a pretty good explanation of the various arm actions and how they are done. My suggestion would be to simply insert your preferred arm action into the drill. Again, you are only limited by your own creativity. I hope this helps you. Good luck.

Does this same principle apply to standing jumps? I do parkour. In parkour most jumps are from standing and I am struggling to gain decent distance.

Sir my long jump4:10 plz suggest me to improve distance

Improve speed and improve power while keeping the rest the same or improving them too, but with more speed and power you will improve your distance

Then work on the technical parts and landing,

For power do bounds and other ploy metrics and for speed do 10-30m flys with enough rest 3-5 mins between reps
