34:30 - 34:46 What you want to do to solve this issue is to have watches or something that tells time, especially when you split up in videos, make sure everyone has a clock on them. This allows you to track when things happen and if there is no coincidence that you said something and then they saw something or whatever. Having clocks also makes sure you're not in a place where time acts "funny", where you could potentially be putting yourself in "danger" of whatever is causing time to act "funny", for too long and lets you know that okay I need to leave.
Camera footage will have timestamps, down to the minute - often times their names will even be a timestamp. Find footage X (EG "Woods, part 2"), find footage Y (EG "Narrator Estus, lighthouse, part 1"), check lengths of clips, cross reference from there. If batteries being swapped causes the reset of timestamps (happens if an internal CMOS battery isn't available) then label batteries and stack them so they have to be pulled out and deployed in numerical order. This allows you to know when battery X was used to capture footage and give a time estimate based off other footage data. You may encroach upon a 3-5 minute discrepancy in timestamps from swapping batteries between crews, but if crew X is praying and after 3-5 minutes crew Y is mentioning the hand of god, I would classify that as reasonable proof with the prior understanding of "battery swap latency". Watches are a cool idea but if someone's freaking out then you aren't going to convince them to check their watch. Better to make it as dummy-proof as possible so you aren't forced to rely on remembering to call out what time it is.

Footage doesn’t just corrupt out of nowhere, I don’t care what brand of SD card or camera you’re using. I would say that, yes, the energy of a ghost (the same energy powering us) could cause electrical interference with the camera and corrupt the footage. Our own electromagnetic field can sometimes even interfere with electronics.

My friend was driving while I was recording outside the window and stupid mistake #1, I didn't have it around my neck lol and I accidentally dropped it the camera onto the road. That's some speed and some impact. I thought I had killed the camera and rushed out for it. But it didnt even stop recording. Everything was fine. Probably lucky AF that nothing broke, but it could still work fine and the files were all fine too.

Ghosts are known to play hell with electronics, its one of their telltale signs, but more specifically I think they can interact with the electromagnetic fields that said electronics give off. The way I think about is this: I have recently started working with radios and their internals. One of these said internals is called an over-current lockout circuit. essentially when there is too much current it locks the entire radio down until it's rebooted. Now, I'm no physicist so dont quote me on this but we can already generate electricity through magnetic induction, so it mayyyyy be possible to cause the current in these circuits to overflow if introduced to a magnetic field. It would likely have to be a very strong field but considering some of the things ghosts are *believed* to be capable of it would make sense. I have no idea what causes corruption, but if im to go off what someone else posted, it boils down to cancelling the stream of data mid flow? I feel like if not shutting the camera down entirely (it did several times) it would have wiped the memory as most cameras have been known to do when introduced to strong EM fields. If we could make a camera resistant/immune to these effects (i.e. polaroid film camera) we would have a much easier time capturing these entities on camera

I was getting STRESSED watching the video at the point where Josh n Narrator were in the lighthouse and the ghosts were pleading with them to go get Mully and yet THEY DIDN'T IMMEDIATELY GO TO HIM! I was like I have never heard such a clear warning in these types of videos and couple that with the "without a bible.' 'not human' messages from the shadow room sends chills down my spine and I believe there is something else in that house with the ghosts. Hello, Eddie. I'm from the Philippines. I watch your paranormal videos regularly every upload and rewatch some. I think I pieced out some form of theory as to why the video corrupts. So here in the Philippines, we get a lot of "paranormal" activities that gets broadcasted through out the news, usually having the presence of a paranormal investigator. A very popular investigator, named Ed Caluag. Ed Caluag explained entities that cannot be seen by people, like ghosts (not sure how many variations of paranormal entities there are) He stated they're static energy. If Ed Caluag is right with this then static energy fucked up your files. Meaning to say the entities you encountered are emitting static energy strong enough to corrupt it. This is just my personal theory and makes sense somehow. :>

Something that really scares me is that when the second time the pair of eyes appear with Mully, you can make out the silhouette of a dark gray figure, Staring directly at the camera, and it looks like it’s preying on Mully waiting to attack, and it’s terrifying.
In places that are on the smaller side, you guys should have someone walk through the buildings and record what it looks like all lit up. That way later on when you review evidence you can cross compare what you find with what was there during the daytime. It would help to possibly debunk reflections on shiny surfaces or even make these lights more credible.
From my analysis on the many years I have of watching Ghost Hunters and Ghost Adventures, I was made to at least assume ghosts emit Electromagnetic frequencies, and with normal cameras they can possibly interfere with the electronics inside and corrupt the footage. As the name suggests, Electromagnitism is a mix of the electrons in the air and the magnetism of the Earth's gravity. It's because the two work in a similar way. A perfect example of this is when you press a magnet against the side of your laptop/computer. It redirects the energy inside the computer to the magnet and thus shuts everything else inside off.
If you keep having issues with the camera files corrupting when you go to these places, try taking a film recorder next time and record in tandem with the other cameras. It will be interesting to see if the digital cams corrupt again and what would be on the film camera.

I think one way to proof the timeline is to know the start of the recording and how many minutes the event took place since I’m pretty sure that the footage will have details on what time it first record. For example, lets say Eddie and juicy started recording their journey on the trail was like 1:00 AM and he started to pray around 20 minutes (so 1:20 AM) while that happen Josh and Narrator begin to record around 1:15 AM and began having responses around 10 minutes later (1:25 AM). It actually makes sense now. Earlier in the video before the challenges, whatever was talking with you guys in the Shadow room literally said to "not bring a bible" while exploring the basement. So whatever was down there was not friendly in the least bit, and Mully was going to be the target. Even though I am someone who spiritually works with spirits/entities regularly, I will not do haunted places like this. I am always interested in seeing what others experience though, just a bit to much lack of control in these places for my taste lol. Hey Eddie, I have some theories and maybe some insight. First off, regarding the two sets of eyes that Mully sees in the basement, human eyes do not reflect IR light. But animal eyes do. Now I’m not saying that it was an animal down there, but when y’all where in the spirit room you asked if Peter was human, to which he gave a negative response. Later he also claims that he is not alone in the basement. I think that maybe it was some sort of non-human entity that the camera picked up. Second, I think it is clear as day that Narrator and Josh are being told to pick up and leave to go get Mully. The entity they are talking to makes sure that Josh is listening and paying attention and then says to go get William. When Josh doesn’t listen they drop the “Mulan” name. To me it’s clear that the ghosts are not only concerned for Mullies safety, but they also want them to go and get him out. Third, this is mostly speculation and religious speculation, but the combination of the prayer, what Narrator says, and Mullies experiences, point to something malicious in that basement. Wether it was Peter or the aforementioned non-human entity, or something else, there was something happening. I feel that it would be wise in future videos to focus less on the challenges and more on the safety of the people involved. I’m not saying y’all did anything wrong, but there was a lot that pointed to William being in trouble and needing help.

The caretakers never mentioned any malicious spirits or other entities within the area, so it may have been Peter. so with the tower, I'm going out here and saying I am 99 percent sure it was the wind that made the singing noise and I believe you happened to catch the perfect moment where the weather and wind struck the perfect spot to sound like singing. The reason I am so confident in this is because I do caving and 'am extremely interested in the geological sciences of caves, and wouldn't you know it there is a geological phenomena called cave breathing and cave singing, these phenomena occur due to the nature of how caves are shaped where they hold the same ability as your throat and mouth while singing which can create the eeriest and scariest noises you've ever heard that would make you swear someone was in the cave with you. Now while I do believe the singing was just a phenomena, the rest like the doors and clicking and many others I have absolutely no idea and the debunking of the tower wind changes absolutely 0% of my mind on the probability of the paranormal actually existing, there is still just too much to say, oh I debunked this one thing its all fake.

If you want some clarification regarding the thermostat from an HVAC tech, the thermostat must be 5 feet from the ground. And that's actually part of building code. So yeah, those aren't reflections from the tstat cover.

hey Eddie so I just looked it up and there's a chance that the high electromagnetic frequencies within the house might have caused the camera footage to get corrupted so whenever you go make sure you always get an EMF detector that way if it goes on to an EMF 5 your cameras have a high chance of getting corrupted that's why EMF detectors are smart to have because I can also help with saving footage
I was just researching a bit. Essentially everything gives off a vibration. I was also thinking the emf vibrations that are often connected to the paranormal would certainly corrupt the cameras and fuck with digital cameras.
@Sauceddie you guys should consider white hot/black hot pallets for thermal as well. It does really well showing shadows and decluttering the image. I use IR/thermal a lot for work and i've gotten clearer pictures on those pallets than the standard blue to white spectrums.

I watched a video called a portrait of god where there is a painting that is “blank” but there are reports of people seeing a human figure within it, and in the video the girl saw a pair of glowing eyes behind the painting after the painting rolled back up the eyes were still there and began approaching, once they got close enough the creature that was supposed to be god opened its mouth emitting a bright light and its theorized that was the “light” everyone says they see before they die… It was horrifying to see incredibly similar eyes staring down Mully…

i never noticed narrators spirit box saying "calm down, get up" and josh says "now what" then narrator responds "William gods has reached down to capture him, his in trouble" insane how its all back to back spoken and unbroken and the timeline makes so much sense since then mullys was feeling endangered in the basement, absolute master piece of a video.
I've been to this lighthouse before, and I can agree, the lighthouse itself is fine, you obviously get the feeling that something is there, but in the quarters, even in the daylight, the feeling of something else being there with you is massive, even more so in the basement (obviously) though I went during the day with family, and what my experience can't even compare to what you guys did, loved the video, keep up all the great work, The Boys channel is one of my favorite channels on RUclips, love the content Eddie, keep it up. also, for anyone wondering it is the lighthouse in St. Augustine, Florida.
I don't know if it's just me but if you look at the eyes in the hall way and look at their angle compared to the door, it looks like they start tilting to the right as their looking at Mully. They start almost perfectly horizontal but just a few seconds latter they are tilted. If it's not just me, then that just further disproves the reflection thing and gives me EXTREME chicken skin!

What you want to do to solve this issue is to have watches or something that tells time, especially when you split up in videos, make sure everyone has a clock on them. This allows you to track when things happen and if there is no coincidence that you said something and then they saw something or whatever. Having clocks also makes sure you're not in a place where time acts "funny", where you could potentially be putting yourself in "danger" of whatever is causing time to act "funny", for too long and lets you know that okay I need to leave.
Camera footage will have timestamps, down to the minute - often times their names will even be a timestamp. Find footage X (EG "Woods, part 2"), find footage Y (EG "Narrator Estus, lighthouse, part 1"), check lengths of clips, cross reference from there.
If batteries being swapped causes the reset of timestamps (happens if an internal CMOS battery isn't available) then label batteries and stack them so they have to be pulled out and deployed in numerical order. This allows you to know when battery X was used to capture footage and give a time estimate based off other footage data. You may encroach upon a 3-5 minute discrepancy in timestamps from swapping batteries between crews, but if crew X is praying and after 3-5 minutes crew Y is mentioning the hand of god, I would classify that as reasonable proof with the prior understanding of "battery swap latency".
Watches are a cool idea but if someone's freaking out then you aren't going to convince them to check their watch. Better to make it as dummy-proof as possible so you aren't forced to rely on remembering to call out what time it is.
For your next ghost hunt, try using flash photography on an instant print camera so that it cannot be corrupted. Maybe a non digital camera

I would say that, yes, the energy of a ghost (the same energy powering us) could cause electrical interference with the camera and corrupt the footage. Our own electromagnetic field can sometimes even interfere with electronics.
Ghosts in general wouldn't corrupt footage or we wouldn't have footage to show, but I think specific spiritual energies can do so

one personal take: I was recording stuff for a uni project once. My friend was driving while I was recording outside the window and stupid mistake #1, I didn't have it around my neck lol and I accidentally dropped it the camera onto the road. That's some speed and some impact. I thought I had killed the camera and rushed out for it. But it didnt even stop recording. Everything was fine. Probably lucky AF that nothing broke, but it could still work fine and the files were all fine too.

Ghosts are known to play hell with electronics, its one of their telltale signs, but more specifically I think they can interact with the electromagnetic fields that said electronics give off. The way I think about is this: I have recently started working with radios and their internals. One of these said internals is called an over-current lockout circuit. essentially when there is too much current it locks the entire radio down until it's rebooted. Now, I'm no physicist so dont quote me on this but we can already generate electricity through magnetic induction, so it mayyyyy be possible to cause the current in these circuits to overflow if introduced to a magnetic field. It would likely have to be a very strong field but considering some of the things ghosts are *believed* to be capable of it would make sense. I have no idea what causes corruption, but if im to go off what someone else posted, it boils down to cancelling the stream of data mid flow? I feel like if not shutting the camera down entirely (it did several times) it would have wiped the memory as most cameras have been known to do when introduced to strong EM fields. If we could make a camera resistant/immune to these effects (i.e. polaroid film camera) we would have a much easier time capturing these entities on camera

Hello, Eddie. I'm from the Philippines. I watch your paranormal videos regularly every upload and rewatch some. I think I pieced out some form of theory as to why the video corrupts. So here in the Philippines, we get a lot of "paranormal" activities that gets broadcasted through out the news, usually having the presence of a paranormal investigator. A very popular investigator, named Ed Caluag. Ed Caluag explained entities that cannot be seen by people, like ghosts (not sure how many variations of paranormal entities there are) He stated they're static energy. If Ed Caluag is right with this then static energy fucked up your files. Meaning to say the entities you encountered are emitting static energy strong enough to corrupt it. This is just my personal theory and makes sense somehow. :>

i noticed that too and I took a screenshot and messed with the image enough to see a curve like the top of a head above the eyes.
In places that are on the smaller side, you guys should have someone walk through the buildings and record what it looks like all lit up. That way later on when you review evidence you can cross compare what you find with what was there during the daytime. It would help to possibly debunk reflections on shiny surfaces or even make these lights more credible.
From my analysis on the many years I have of watching Ghost Hunters and Ghost Adventures, I was made to at least assume ghosts emit Electromagnetic frequencies, and with normal cameras they can possibly interfere with the electronics inside and corrupt the footage. As the name suggests, Electromagnitism is a mix of the electrons in the air and the magnetism of the Earth's gravity. It's because the two work in a similar way. A perfect example of this is when you press a magnet against the side of your laptop/computer. It redirects the energy inside the computer to the magnet and thus shuts everything else inside off.
If you keep having issues with the camera files corrupting when you go to these places, try taking a film recorder next time and record in tandem with the other cameras. It will be interesting to see if the digital cams corrupt again and what would be on the film camera.

I think one way to proof the timeline is to know the start of the recording and how many minutes the event took place since I’m pretty sure that the footage will have details on what time it first record. For example, lets say Eddie and juicy started recording their journey on the trail was like 1:00 AM and he started to pray around 20 minutes (so 1:20 AM) while that happen Josh and Narrator begin to record around 1:15 AM and began having responses around 10 minutes later (1:25 AM). Not saying I wouldn’t be scared, it would be an adrenaline rush, but to actually have a true reaction like this from Mully is great because you know it’s authentic and not just crap they rehearsed
Hey Eddie, I have some theories and maybe some insight. First off, regarding the two sets of eyes that Mully sees in the basement, human eyes do not reflect IR light. But animal eyes do. Now I’m not saying that it was an animal down there, but when y’all where in the spirit room you asked if Peter was human, to which he gave a negative response. Later he also claims that he is not alone in the basement. I think that maybe it was some sort of non-human entity that the camera picked up.
Second, I think it is clear as day that Narrator and Josh are being told to pick up and leave to go get Mully. The entity they are talking to makes sure that Josh is listening and paying attention and then says to go get William. When Josh doesn’t listen they drop the “Mulan” name. To me it’s clear that the ghosts are not only concerned for Mullies safety, but they also want them to go and get him out.
Third, this is mostly speculation and religious speculation, but the combination of the prayer, what Narrator says, and Mullies experiences, point to something malicious in that basement. Wether it was Peter or the aforementioned non-human entity, or something else, there was something happening. I feel that it would be wise in future videos to focus less on the challenges and more on the safety of the people involved. I’m not saying y’all did anything wrong, but there was a lot that pointed to William being in trouble and needing help.
This was exactly what I was thinking!! Even just watching the video, my instincts kicked in like even I knew something was wrong in that basement. The caretakers never mentioned any malicious spirits or other entities within the area, so it may have been Peter. But with the information from the spirit box, it definitely felt like something threatening was in the basement with Mully.. or being threatened by Mully's presence since he did touch Peter's chair? Honestly the most terrifying part of the video 😭

I agree. There was definitely SOMETHING down there with Mully and everything started pointing for them to go help him and it felt like something was going to happen to him.

I HAVE A SOLUTION TO CAMERAS: there is a type of camera that uses no electricity and still has good quality, its called a rolling camera or something. the lever that you spin to have photos in fast motion. wouls love for the next haunted vid to INCLUDE A NON-ELECTRIC CAMERA

There’s a reaction at the end like everyone else mentioned, but he doesn’t say much. I would want him to say more about his whole experience down there. And more details about that area in particular, like what did he see exactly around the room that he could make out. They did have to wake him up for that, I think he just grunted and walked away 😂

so with the tower, I'm going out here and saying I am 99 percent sure it was the wind that made the singing noise and I believe you happened to catch the perfect moment where the weather and wind struck the perfect spot to sound like singing. The reason I am so confident in this is because I do caving and 'am extremely interested in the geological sciences of caves, and wouldn't you know it there is a geological phenomena called cave breathing and cave singing, these phenomena occur due to the nature of how caves are shaped where they hold the same ability as your throat and mouth while singing which can create the eeriest and scariest noises you've ever heard that would make you swear someone was in the cave with you. Now while I do believe the singing was just a phenomena, the rest like the doors and clicking and many others I have absolutely no idea and the debunking of the tower wind changes absolutely 0% of my mind on the probability of the paranormal actually existing, there is still just too much to say, oh I debunked this one thing its all fake.
Im glad other people understand that 1 thing can be debunked in a video and thar doesnt automatically make everything else wrong

@Swisso_ just so both having little holes and a big space that can allow for wind pressing up against the building to push in and whistle similar how it does in caves, not the entire cave whistles, everything is different depending on its shape and how to wind is hitting it

If you want some clarification regarding the thermostat from an HVAC tech, the thermostat must be 5 feet from the ground. And that's actually part of building code. So yeah, those aren't reflections from the tstat cover.

Rescue Mediums explains this as sometimes when spirits die tragically or unexpectedly or fear crossing over they become stuck haunting the living world. They often experience their last moments over and over again. Hence the girls saying “Help” and “I’m trapped”.
Sometimes spirits become trapped if they don’t realise they have died and thus don’t move on. At the end of the day ghosts are just spirits of those who have died, depending on the person the ghost can be a good presence or a bad one. Demons are a different ballgame.
Another edit: Spirits are known to place their own conditions on you: A sense of dread or unexpected sadness, feeling like you’re drowning, ect. If Eddie is sensitive to these things they might be targeting him. Be careful not to “invite” spirits in. It could lead to an unwanted presence attaching itself to you.

hey Eddie so I just looked it up and there's a chance that the high electromagnetic frequencies within the house might have caused the camera footage to get corrupted
so whenever you go make sure you always get an EMF detector that way if it goes on to an EMF 5 your cameras have a high chance of getting corrupted that's why EMF detectors are smart to have because I can also help with saving footage
I was just researching a bit. Essentially everything gives off a vibration. I was also thinking the emf vibrations that are often connected to the paranormal would certainly corrupt the cameras and fuck with digital cameras.
@Sauceddie you guys should consider white hot/black hot pallets for thermal as well. It does really well showing shadows and decluttering the image. I use IR/thermal a lot for work and i've gotten clearer pictures on those pallets than the standard blue to white spectrums.

Man, the pair of eyes genuinely freaked me tf out. I watched a video called a portrait of god where there is a painting that is “blank” but there are reports of people seeing a human figure within it, and in the video the girl saw a pair of glowing eyes behind the painting after the painting rolled back up the eyes were still there and began approaching, once they got close enough the creature that was supposed to be god opened its mouth emitting a bright light and its theorized that was the “light” everyone says they see before they die… It was horrifying to see incredibly similar eyes staring down Mully…

i never noticed narrators spirit box saying "calm down, get up" and josh says "now what" then narrator responds "William gods has reached down to capture him, his in trouble" insane how its all back to back spoken and unbroken and the timeline makes so much sense since then mullys was feeling endangered in the basement, absolute master piece of a video.
I've been to this lighthouse before, and I can agree, the lighthouse itself is fine, you obviously get the feeling that something is there, but in the quarters, even in the daylight, the feeling of something else being there with you is massive, even more so in the basement (obviously) though I went during the day with family, and what my experience can't even compare to what you guys did, loved the video, keep up all the great work, The Boys channel is one of my favorite channels on RUclips, love the content Eddie, keep it up.

I don't know if it's just me but if you look at the eyes in the hall way and look at their angle compared to the door, it looks like they start tilting to the right as their looking at Mully. They start almost perfectly horizontal but just a few seconds latter they are tilted. If it's not just me, then that just further disproves the reflection thing and gives me EXTREME chicken skin!
