- In today’s episode, we’ll look at some of the most unique military-style civilian and trainer aircraft that are still in use around the globe. We’ll check out each of their specifications, designs, and current market prices.
People often think of fighter jets when they hear the words military aircraft, but we use the term “military-style” to describe civilian aircraft with distinguishing elements that look similar to those found on military planes. These may include design features such as a tough-looking exterior, low-wing design, or using advanced avionics systems. In most cases, these are aircraft designed for use in a variety of extreme conditions, or as aerobatic or demonstration planes. These are becoming popular choices for civilian pilots or operators who want to showcase a more versatile or rugged aircraft with advanced flight capabilities.

The Grob and the Dart 550 do not have T-tails, neither is 10000 ft the service ceiling of the PC-21. The research is poor.
its like they didnt even read the wikipedia page xD
...and the Grob Avionics are not Garmin.
The Pilatus PC-21 is a full fledged military traning plane. It's exclusively in service with military operators like the Swiss Air Force, Spanish Air Force, the RAAF and the French Armée de l'air. It's turbine powered as well.
Absolutely, the Pilatus PC-21 is indeed a robust military training aircraft. Its turbine power and advanced features make it well-suited for military training purposes. Do you have a particular interest in military aviation, or is there a specific aspect of the Pilatus PC-21 that caught your attention?
Verdaderamente un video desastroso . Sin criterio, sin orientación. Una ensalada de modelos y conceptos que no definen a qué tipo de aeronaves se desea presentar.
Despidan al editor e informense mejor. Gracias!!!.
What a strange, almost bizzare mix. Some UL or VLA 'military style', my impression the only criteria is low wing, tandem seat configuration, some are full fledged military trainers, including the most capable propeller trainer in existence. Blueberries and pineapples, both are fruit.
To clarify, while low-wing, tandem seat configuration is a common feature among many ultralights and very light aircraft (VLA), there are certainly other design features that can be present as well. For example, some ultralights and VLAs may incorporate elements of military-style design, such as a sleek and aerodynamic fuselage, high-performance engines, and advanced avionics systems. Additionally, some ultralights and VLAs may be based on existing military trainers, which can provide a high level of performance and handling capabilities. It's important to note that these design features are not requirements for most ultralight and VLA aircraft, making this an eclectic list of military-style trainers.
Ridiculous , the pc- 21 ?? .and out Tucano, Texan ll????
There are other excellent training aircraft like the PC-21, Tucano, and Texan II that also deserve recognition. The list we provided includes some of the notable options, but there are certainly more choices out there. Do you have a personal favorite among these training aircraft, or is there a specific plane you believe should be on the list considering the model and price range?
In my opinion, the PC21 is already in another airplane category.
A candidate for this list I think would be the 70% scale Tucano Replica, made by the Italians at Fly Legends, and used as a basic trainer for the Dominican Republic air force.
Tarragon airplane is from Latvia, not Spain. Tarragona is a city in Spain.
I appreciate the correction. You're absolutely right; the Tarragon aircraft is from Latvia, not Spain. My apologies for any confusion. Is there anything else you'd like to share or discuss about this aircraft or any other aviation topics?
Yeah……are you human or a BOT???
Definitely a LLM
Really
We klick to watch Aviation Not House market sales in Calgary nor the Sunday morning Church collection pitch with a constant speed flare..
Borring !
So you tell me that you skipped the Tucanos from Brasil. Lame list
Do you know what a "T tail" is?
Why do they give us nerfed planes that look like they are from the 40's? I understand they have to nerf but come on.
Beautiful aircraft they look like they are fun to fly
# I want to leave pakistan forever
Remember to use the metric system to report speed, altitude and dimensions.
Absolutely, it's important to provide information in a way that's accessible to everyone, and using the metric system for speed, altitude, and dimensions ensures a global understanding. Is there any specific aircraft or category you're interested in knowing more about in future episodes?
@@AviationFederation Thanks for the feedback. Please remember to report on alternative fuel solutions and projects with innovative tech like FreeFlight and such. Keep up the excellent work.
A range of at least a thousand nautical miles would be nice.
I would not consider any Airplane without an ejector seat a "Trainer". just saying.
Your point about trainer aircraft and ejector seats is valid. Ejector seats are typically not found in trainer aircraft, as their primary purpose is to train and prepare pilots rather than for combat or emergency ejections. Is there a specific aircraft or context you have in mind when considering the importance of ejector seats?
Where is that (HÜRKUS)?
service ceiling of the pc21 is 25,000ft and not 10,000ft
We appreciate the correction! Thanks for pointing it out. It seems there might have been a mix-up in the conversion. What other aspects of the Pilatus PC-21 caught your attention?
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
small, good and cute aircraft... how much does it cost?..I want to buy
We shared some of the info in the description box as well. Please head over there to check!
Were you not paying attention? Lol
???? and Super Tucano A-29............
The Super Tucano A-29 is indeed an impressive aircraft known for its versatility and capabilities. Are you particularly interested in its role as a light attack and training aircraft, or is there something specific about the Super Tucano that caught your attention?
Are there second hand VLAs available in the market for civilianz?
Yes, there are second-hand Very Light Aircraft (VLA) available in the market for civilians. These used VLAs can be found through various channels such as online aircraft marketplaces, aviation classifieds, and through local aviation communities. We usually check the websites of Controller and AVBuyer. It's important to thoroughly research and inspect any used aircraft before making a purchase to ensure its condition and suitability for your needs.
Yes!! Can buy in china an pc-21😂😂😂😂😂
Second hand😂😂😂😂😂
"Top 5 "..🤣🙃😂..
Sometimes narrowing it down to just five can be quite a challenge. Which aircraft would you have in your list and how would you rank them?
All of them for peace flights
small and good aircrafts.
