I’m really enjoying the episodes on the development of the Bible; we forget how precious it is that people were willing to die to own pieces or to make sure it was available .

My understanding as an Orthodox is that at 33 AD on Pentecost, Jesus instructed the Apostles to spread the Good News and the Holy Spirit came unto them and blessed them with all the words and teachings. Therefore the Bible is based on what Jesus told the Apostles and as such, THAT'S the authentic word of God, not all the subsequent editions that watered down God's message. Thanks and God Bless ♡

I’m curious if anyone would know anything about the other 14 books that are said to have been added or at least taken away from the Bible the only reason I’m asking is because I have someone who keeps portraying that there are 14 more books to the Bible that we don’t have in our current translation of the king James or most of the other versions that are out there and I would be interested to know if the Geneva Bible has the original 66 books or more books in it and so that would be my question.

Can you talk about Zechariah 14/ the minor prophets? I’ve had people say that the millennial kingdom is going to be on Earth, not heaven and that there will still be people alive after Jesus comes.
