    I'm so glad these 30 minute recapy exist. Sky Germany was only focused on the F1 GP in Canada, no IndyCar broadcast whatsoever this weekend, so this is a great way to keep up with everything. A huge thank you from across the pond, and keep up the amazing work yall put in!

    Question from a Highlight watcher:
    Wy the drivers in the back not stop under SC on a roadcurse at the start of the race and just top off fuell for more milage? You would not lose any/many positions and then you could beat the frontrunners with a longer first stint?
    Seems to be a smart strategy for road courses.

      Palou should go to F1 to drive for Ferrari, it's a good chance right now because Ferrari is disappointed by both drivers Leclerc and Sainz.

    • @pikestance8851
      @pikestance8851 Год назад

      @@Jil8840 An Argument could be made for LeClerc, who finished outside of points three times. including two DNF. However, Sainz has been anything but disappointing, finishing 5th four times and 4th once. LeClerc also had one podium (3). A better argument could be made that the car itself has been underperforming. Red Bull, Aston Martin and Mercedes have all shown more pace. You may even argue that Alpine has shown more promise. It is also highly doubtful that Ferrari would replace an experience driver with an inexperience driver. If Red Bull drops Perez for Ricardo, then you may see Ferrari drop LeClerc. Or, Ricardo may be picked up instead if Red Bull do not Drop Perez. Outside of that, it is much more likely for Palau to go to Williams (Sargent) or Alpha Tauri (DeVries).

    • @Jil8840
      @Jil8840 Год назад

      @@pikestance8851 Palou is a champion in Indycars. He would only drive for a top team in F1. As for Sainz, you must be joking. Fifth place for Ferrari is a complete disaster. I think that Ferrari should fire both drivers and get Palou and Hamilton for next year. It would be an incredible duo to watch!!! Both drivers at Ferrari Sainz and Leclerc are extremely disappointing, not good for Ferrari. Last year they had the fastest car!!!

    • @pikestance8851
      @pikestance8851 Год назад

      @@Jil8840 Palou is a reserve driver. He is an experience F2 driver, but Champions of F2 have struggled in F1. Ferrari's problem is with the car, not the drivers. There is very little chance that he will be sign by Red Bull, Aston Martin, Mercedes and Ferrari. He could sign on with Alpine, which is looking to be a regular 3/4 finisher, but McLaren spending big money and major improvement coming to the car, the competition is only going to get stiffer. The best Palou can hope for is Alpine. Otherwise, it is either Williams or Haas with an outside chance for Alpha Tauri. There are now talk that Ricardo could take a seat with AT, which will move the team to a true sister team of Red Bull. Again, that leaves Haas or Williams.
      To be honest, Indycar is like the NCAA to the pro game relative to F1.

    • @Jil8840
      @Jil8840 Год назад

      @@pikestance8851 No, you are wrong again. Palou is a champion at Indycars. The same way Jacques Villeneuve was a young champion at Indycars and Williams, the best team at the time, signed Villeneuve to compete for the F1 championship. Villeneuve was competitive right from the start and became a F1 champion in the next year, only his second year in F1. I believe that Palou is very talented and ready for a top team in F1. I strongly believe that Palou is faster than Sainz or Perez. Everything remains to be seen of course.

    This was like watching open wheel Nascar racing. I used to enjoy Indy Cars in the 80s and 90s.. and yes, some in the early 2000s, but im sorry. Aside from the finish of the race, this was a joke. Where's the rules ? Where's the discipline ? It was like Bumper Cars. Ive seen many really good Indy Car races in the past, even been to a few myself, but I'm sorry, this one was like watching Nascar. And perhaps after this race, when Will Power went off the track near the end by himself.. Perhaps Mr. Power needs to give himself a "Punch in the Face".. That comment from Power sounded so much like Nascar. Indy Car is the new Open Wheel Nascar series . Sorry everyone. I used to like Indy Cars. But not now.

    NTT is missing out on tons of money by lacking a subscription service for races like F1 TV. I would happily pay monthly to watch the races live so I don’t need to watch a 30 minute recap 😬🫣

      I agree, F1TV is like 80$ for the whole year and I get to share it with 6 different devices. I would happily pay for something similar for INDYCAR so I don't have to watch 12 commercial breaks. Also with extra revenue maybe they can upgrade their cameras to F1s level.
