    I find a pump spray bottle works with WD40 just fine. No work drilling, soldering, required and safe as no compressed air in a can. In fact WD40 sells their own pump bottle if one wants store bought container rather than an empty one from something else.😊. Be sure to relabel as WD40 on repurposed container.😊

    Fun Project, well done!
    But you could also buy a chemical resistent small pump bottle, and fill it from your Canister in. I don't even use that anymore. Thin Gear oil mixed with Aceton (50/50) has the exact same effect and is way cheaper!

    I do Marine repair for a living and also restore muscle cars I love your video very simple laid out step by step . I use a lot of carb cleaner and brake clean a can of brake clean it $4.00 plus tax I was thinking a guy could go get a gallon of paint thinner and pressurize can with paint thinner and it would do the same job .Very nice job thank you

    How did you dump the water out with the concave bottom preventing the water from draining? Blowing it out with compressed air would do.

    Pro tip. Flux will attract the liquid solder. It keeps oxygen out of the joint the same as welding rods or gas on mig and tig. Best to apply it to your fittings after cleaning and before joining them together. I also buy wd in bulk and use it in a regular plastic spray bottle. Cheers

    this may be obvious, however how did you remove the rinse water? the bottom of the an is inverted ( concave) and the tube goes to the bottom of the can ?

      I just shook the Can around . You can also blow compressed air through the top Using a tire valve stem

  • @JUST2HYP3R
    @JUST2HYP3R 2 месяца назад +2

    I wouldn't reccomend putting the valve at the bottom. If a leak were to form, all of the fluid under pressure will come out from that point at the bottom of the can. Putting it at the top would only allow air to leak if the seal fails.

    Or you go to Harbour Freight and purchase their refillable can and just fill with your favorite product and add air from your air compressor.

    The bottom of a pressurized can is shaped to withstand pressure in the can, probably weaker when you damage it by drilling a hole and heating it. Don’t use high pressure.

      Actually the integrity is not compromised

    • @kbschulze
      @kbschulze 4 месяца назад

      Not compromised at all, in fact with the metal cylinder soldered in the center it is likely stronger. To top it off the pressurized can is designed to withstand 3 times the rated pressure as a safety standard.

    I think I've seen this demonstrated on another RUclips* Channel* Video*.. I don't think 🤔 i would try this with an empty can that had been used to spray anything flammable.. But it's also a very good idea, to use for refilling with just compressed air, for blowing through small carburator port holes..💯🤔👍👌😊👨‍🔧🎥🎬⭐⭐⭐⭐✝️🇺🇸

    Has it not occurred to you that by pressurising these with air you're one step away from it exploding?. Think about it, fuel, air under pressure, add heat equals boom. Exactly how an engine works. Would be safer to pressurise with butane or carbon dioxide.

    Good video, decent choice of parts. You keep Shouting, stressing your voice. This is uncomfortable to listen to, for most humans, whether they recognize the cause or not. Not the only content provider who does this, but you might be more receptive to feedback, with your practical attitude. You have a Good microphone, trust it. Talk normally, recording set to about 2/3rds volume, adjust audio level for the video in post-production

    If time is money how do you save money? Unless you want to go to your grave with less time and money.
    I’d rather pay the manufacturer his dividends in his investment of quick automated tooling.
