This was my first time hearing One OK Rock’s Take What You Want, and I was blown away by their emotional performance at the Ambitions Japan Dome Tour 2018!
From the moment the song started, the lead singer’s vocals stood out with incredible control and raw emotion. The silent crowd moments made the experience even more powerful, showing how deeply fans respect the performance. The vocal transitions, soaring high notes, and energy of the song were unforgettable!
I also loved the crowd’s engagement, especially during the whoa chanting section-it gave me chills! This was one of the best live performances I’ve ever watched.

All those people and not a single sound. It's breathtaking! His command over the audience is otherworldly. Like Freddie Mercury had when performing live. For me, all of their music is an anthem. So glad you loved them.
A bit of history. You got the band's members names already. They have been around since 2005. They are all in their mid 30s. They could be considered the people's rock band. They play rock but are not tied down to a particular style of rock. At the beginning they played screamo/ punck rock. They have sang alongside bands like sleeping with sirens, 5sos, Avril laving, Ed sheeran and so many more. They are a band that loves their fans. They are humble and appreciate of their people. They play in 50,000 capacity stadiums as well as 800 capacity venues with the same love and energy. Their lyrics are very motivational. The entire band is talented. They're all crucial to the band. I personally just saw them in a small venue in October of 2022. I was not prepared for the impact they left in my soul. It was the most epic concert i have been to. And, i have been to a lot of concerts in my life. Im 52.

Taka (vocals) was a bit under the weather at this concert. Every One Ok Rock performance is emotionally charged. They are very good live. I recommend We Are in Ambitions Japan Dome tour (same as this concert). Taka can perform in a 2hr concert while moving and jumping around, but still can belt and scream like truly a Rockstar. He has a good command with his audience. He is indeed a born performer.
Plus all the band members share the same energy level and engagement throughout the show which makes their live performance always great, no matter how small or big the venue is.

OOR has many great songs and their frontman Taka is amazing. Usually there are parts in their songs where the audience can sing along. Interaction with the crowd is very important to OOR and the audience is considered the 5th member of the band.
They have many encouraging songs with an uplifting message and their energy on stage combined with Taka's vocals and stage presence makes this band special to me.
I definitely recommend their song "We Are," also from the 2018 Japan Dome Tour, and if you want to listen to some of their heavier songs, check out "Deeper Deeper" or "Liar." The song "Renegades" is in a pop/rock style and was co-written by Ed Sheeran. For a great song with a full orchestra, I recommend "I Was King."

The name of the lead singer is Taka the Bassist Guitar is Ryota the Guitar is Toru and the Drummer is Tomoya and their have concert tour and their currently In Italy now
They've finished their European tour a few days ago and now on a break before starting their Asian tour.

I always say that seeing them live is like going to church. They pull you in and make you feel whatever they want you to at that moment. It's amazing.

Taka is so WONDERFUL
I was at this tour (in Nagoya, not Tokyo) and I'm so angry that bad timing in other things in life prevented me from enjoying this amazing concert 100%
All I remember is how I couldn't focus on Taka, because of other completely unrelated stuff that had happened right before I left home to head to the venue 😢
I love this song and this performance so much and I hate that I only have very vague memories of it 😢
