Especially my BEST LOL. I don't know if it is poor shooting or what but I am much more comfortable with the 460 Magnum and typically shoot it better. This has always been strange to me as the 460 Magnum seem to have more of a percussive hit to the shooter. Sort of feels like a grenade going off close by, I know many can't associate with that but it is the best I can think of from my experience lol.
@Dayattherange I've also been blessed with the opportunity to shoot the 500 and 460. From what I remember, the 30-30 and 45-70 were much more manageable. Probably because of a 10" barrel length!😅

That target moved well over an inch with the wind. You would have scored greater if it were stapled down on plywood backing.. 😊
I am so frustrated with our targets at the range but I have to use what we have and blessed that the range is open for use.
I've shot both the BFR in 45-70 and 30-30! I'll never forget that experience!❤❤❤

Great shooting. In your own personal experience, which is better to use in this challenge? A big revolver like this, or a 22lr? I understand that the larger calibers leave bigger holes, so your chances are better, but is the accuracy of the 22lr going to have an advantage? I shot this the other day with a really lightweight 22lr pistol (S&W Air Lite). Scored an 8 with it, but was not happy with my shooting. This revolver challenge was different, and fun though. Thanks to Mike for putting it on, and thanks for you shooting your big pistols. That is fun to watch..

You said that you're out in the cold. Come on down to Vegas and warm up. We've been in the 90's last few days. Had a whole week, maybe 10 days of spring. Before you know it, 95⁰ will be the low.

I bet you can handle it. Definitely not something I would hand to a brand new shooter. It makes me cringe and angry when I see people do this for laughs handing someone a big powerful magnum. First you are most likely to never get them back on the range and secondly its dangerous to the inexperienced.
@@Dayattherange Amen to that. I started my grandkids with BB guns, then 22 shorts. Quite and no recoil.

Ive settled on buying a 460mag, im just not sure to go with a bfr or a s&w. What do you prefer/ recommend? Which has a better build quality

Not only was it moving the target when big gust would come through I could feel it and see it moving me as my sights swayed in the wind.
