I just got my first package of Rage CrossbowX broadheads. The red shock collars also come with washers. Where are those positioned? WHat is their purpose? Thanks.

Glad to see this video as there were no shock collar instructions behind the Rage sticker as the package said there would be. I sure hope my decision to purchase these doesn't come back to bite. Other comments on here are concerning.

I’ve personally never had any problems with rage, I use the no shock collar hypodermics they lock in place without any shock collar, and they are great they leave great blood trails. But I’ve shot the rage with red shock collars with my crossbow that shoot 400+ fps into my target and didn’t open up one bit.

I’ve killed a bunch of deer with the rage but the shock collars cost me a deer last year. Now I’m considering leaving. The rage didn’t deploy hardly at all and the shot looked almost perfect. I’ve never seen such little penetration at 12 yards. The only thing it could be was those stupid pedals wedging it closed. There has got to be a better way they need to be able to fly open on impact like they did in the beginning

I personally prefer the old o-ring design. I've used both designs and never had an issue with either but I always felt like you would maybe loose a little punch with the collars as they would have to break away in order for the blades to deploy

About 10 years of use with the old 3 blade and lots of animals with no failures. The new shock collared 3 blades have cost me multiple animals since I finally ran out of the old ones. Not a lot of other good expandable s but I out in too much time and effort to lose them because of bad equipment!!!

@@jeffreywieber7400if you haven't checked it out already the G5 mega meat is good, I used to use the old rage 3 blades now I use the rage 4 blade. It's basically a hybrid fixed and expandable. I've had a couple 8in wound channels on does from it

These shock collars just cost me a deer using a crossbow at 20 yards. It was effectively a field point. Shot placement was good so I know the deer is dead somewhere in the woods but no blood at all to track it. Stick with the old ones

Never had a failure with the old style 3 blade! Wish those were still around.

Can I use a crossbow shock collar on a standard 125 grain Hypodermic and use it with a crossbow?

I bought a pack of these and my shock collars were crushed. Couldn't even be used
