Drive through 3+ feet of water. Rock crawl a 100% grade. Traverse just about any terrain with 14.9 inches of ground clearance and up to 390 miles of range. With a 0-60 mph time as quick as 3 seconds, it also delivers the on-road handling of a sports car.¹ Oh, and then take the kids to school and pick up the dry cleaning! All in a day's work!
This is a wonderful luxury All-Electric full-sized SUV!

Rivian has been fantastic about releasing OTA updates to the R1 software, that provide ongoing improvements to the vehicles. One of the surprising, positive aspects (along with one-pedal driving) I've appreciated with my R1S. Wonderful vehicles and a very progressive, responsive company that, in my view, has a bright future.

We took delivery of our R1S last September and we're never going back any ICE SUV. We were lucky to have the original pricing before the increase in March 2022. One word to describe it is CAPABLE. Thanks for the review and albeit on the expensive side, it's really worth it if you can afford it.

I'm taking my R1S to Mohab this March....the AT tires are 34"" and are just fine to take that on, no need t9 change them. These tires are awesome on road as well.

One day we'll get BEV Range Rovers. I can't wit to see how they'll compare in a head to head. Seems a similar albeit ICE Range Rovers costs...twice the Rivian now? I look forward to seeing how they're going to provide value, or how Rivian might go a bit more luxury to gain market share.
