So I find this 8 year old video interview, and he mentions their upcoming project Moonbuilding, and the CD is literally right in front of me by the monitor! :-)
Excellent... his choices are really one of the most interesting of What's in my bag... and he's a 70s weather report fan ...cool... uh... i just checked on wiki... the man is born and is of swiss origin... I'm surprised that i never read this anywhere here in switzerland
@MrSKINFLICK yeah many people appreciate switzerland... they found it quite calm and relaxing... sometimes people here are a lil bit too serious... But i don't think that germans are much different... I lived in Geneva for years... it was interesting... but the music scene was/is quite poor in Geneva ...
@MrSKINFLICK thanx ...i watched the video... it's ok... but i think i better like the orb ! I had a girfriend a few years before who was a big fan of r'n'b(modern) music (this is not my cup of tea)... I imagine that it will be devastating if i present her ...Palais Schaumburg... or for exemple some vintageTangerine Dream...
@MrSKINFLICK Sorry but i'm one of those rare swiss who don't talk german very well... it's not my cup of tea... i was never a real fan of the german language... I mean my problems were not in pronounciations or the way it sounds... but it has been much more difficult for me to learn german as an obligation at school than spanish or english... but i'm quite interessed in the german music scene around 1968 until around 1980 and the so called Krautrock stuff... with german lyrics or not...
this guy is such a musical legend. and very humble personality
I was living in SF when this was recorded and I choose to believe I was in the store when this was recorded.
Legend, such a great person & producer!
