Way to go Shooter, good on you for giving Jamie Wyatt a bunch of well deserved love.
Been to a few of his parties in our younger days and damn my friends said i had a good time !!
Shooter Jennings is one of the nicest people - celebrity or non - that I've ever met.
I love that he still has a laserdisc player. I still have mine and have tons of movies.
Thanks for Jaime Wyatt, Shooter!
that jaime wyatt preview was all i needed to go get down on some more. great recommendation.
Neon cross is incredible! Super glad I checked it out too
That album is fucking amazing, glad I watched this a few years ago! Been loving her music ever since
Had my first beer w/ shooter, grew up with his nephew. Glad to see him here, always enjoyed his taste in music, especially song writing.
That was the first american printing of Man who sold the World. Different cover because apparently american record labels in 1970 would not have a man in a dress on the cover. They must have changed their tune shortly thereafter
This was the best "Whats in your bag" in a the long time
Whats up
@@vinylrichie007 what up with you Richie? Shooter had some good picks
I gotta say, I'm super excited for this new Bowie-inspired, Shooter-produced new Duff album!!!
Loved the old video I had of u 2.
Shooter is so cool.
Him still owning a laserdisc player's pretty cool.
Ruben Durango is there any place I can find one?
It was cool to see him in The Punisher (S2), now this here digging some early Bowie/Ronson and Laserdiscs.. Love the ‘Ichabod and the Toad’ classic Disney nuggets btw..
God bless Shooter!!!!!
Thanx shooter for turning me onto Jaime Wyatt
Without the sunglasses he looks just like his Dad 🤘
Adorable! Love Shooter ❤❤❤
Awesome 😎 thank You 💯♥️💃😇
Shooter and Bowie... music, the bridge to everywhere!!!
You're killin me Smalls.
Love you Shooter! Been to about 7 or 8 of your shows and met you a few times. Keep on keeping on! Oh, and great taste! I'd listen to all of that! Happy you made a nice life for yourself with a wife and kids. 💞 Paula in WI.
am I gonna have to listen to his music, his voice is sick
FINALLY! Someone hits the laserdisc section! Respect to Shooter!
Finally some Laserdisc love! Saw a healthy Criterion section...
I loved Laserdiscs. My Dad would get them for free from the local library.
Im 42 and still love The Sandlot.
i live 10 mins away from wasco,ca.....just wanted to say that lol
Damnit I want to see that USS constellation concert
"Me and my friend have been working on something and we've been plowing through Bowie"
This is totally about the new Marilyn Manson album.
exactly.
Nope. Duff McKagan all over.
Can't wait.
'ploughing'
“You’re outta your element Donnie”.
Like the Jaime Wyatt album ( had never heard of her - Amoebe get it back in stock .
Cool guy.

Great episode!
With the sunglasses he also looks just like his dad
Shooter is fucking awesome. Best (What's in my Bag?) In a while. Xo 🌼
I didn't even know who the guz was, although I've spent half of mz life in America, until he did a recording with MM, covering properlz Bowie's song ,,Cat People''! And, to mz ears, it was just awesome. Go on, buddz!
Seems like a cool dude, I wanna laserdisc player!
Johnny and June son still looking mighty fine 2223.
?????
Shooter look me up when you’re in Houston Tx...buy you a beer bro
Dude totally looks like his dad
Yea just needs to be a lot taller
I’m not a big country fan, but when I saw he picked out LaserDiscs I had to finish watching.
I'm not a fan of country either but listen to his album Countach (for giorgio) - its like country disco weirdness but damn it works. It's awesome.
Shooter is not your typical Nashville country singer check him out he’s a good songwriter. Check out Sturgil Simpson as well, he’s a psychedelic country singer
Crazy to say i saw shooter play warped tour !
Cool!
Had shooter on the phone yrs ago when I was doing a survey about truckers , he has a bar in Texas
Jamie Wyatt is dope.
Beverly Hills Cop OST, nice!
4:10, the cover of that "Beverly Hills cop" record is different than mine, mine has white with paint stripes around it!
Vinyl City i have the same one you do, never seen this one before.
Luv YR Haire long < Itz all good Dow! >
My daughters the same way with the phonograph!
He looks a bit like Charlie Manson. No doubt nothing like him personally.
I used to have the biggest crush on him about eight to ten years ago! But he was married to that girl...I forget her name and it broke my heart!
Adrianna from the sopranos.
I wonder how many new First Editon fans the Big Lebowski created.
cool
the man loves his children
Where’s Kevin Parker?
Nice guy.
What did he call Hank Jr???
Bocephus, it's his nickname.
This has been one of the most interesting “?bag” episodes to me. I like how he references his family in some of his picks.
omg. He is so tiny. Shooter jennings acts like the guy who a middle school class would pick on. So glad, he found success. ;)
Good choice a movies music shooter
Now get Bocephus on
As a young teenager, I would watch the opening credits of Dukes of Hazzard, while Waylon crooned in the background, just to stare in awe for about 2 seconds at Daisy in that hot pink bikini....then run in the bathroom and crank out my
gelatinous, pearly-white, melted man-cheese into the toilet bowl....Semper Fi, OO-RAH!!
I kinda wish he ended up with Baal, tbh.
Walon, Merle
So that's what he looks like without his aviators.
Are you guys going to try and have Anthony Fantano on again while he's on tour?
Please no....
Scooter you're looking healthy
1:42 That "animated " cover of Bowie's The Man Who Sold The World" album was the original US version of the cover b/c the "original" European version with Bowie wearing a "dress" on the cover was TOO MUCH for the homophobic snowflakes in ameriKKKa. So it's the same LP just different cover.
My friend and i... You mean you and Marilyn Manson?
He sounds like Sam T. Herring. Just close eyes!
Bowie claimed to have no inteest in Country music; Shooter might have converted him.
He says that Bowie is one of his favourites of all time and yet he displays a distinct lack of knowledge on the subject. He says he's never heard 'David Live' - well, if you're a Bowie fan you would have heard it years ago. The original U.S. cover of 'The Man Who Sold The World' album was different to the U.K. version. The original U.K. cover was deemed too controversial for narrow minded American sentimentalities (Bowie wearing his 'man's dress') and so Mercury changed the cover to what you see here. In 1972 when RCA bought Bowie's back catalogue from Mercury 'The Man Who Sold The World' was re-released in yet another cover. This time featuring a Ziggy era black-n-white shot of Bowie performing a high kick and on a plain black background. Not until the 1990 CD version (with bonus tracks) would we see the original 'Man's Dress' cover re-emerge complete with 'High Kick' cover on the back. Shooter also refers to Bowie's 1969 album 'David Bowie' (sub-titled 'Man of Words - Man of Music' to simplify things for the American market) as 'Space Oddity'. This album wouldn't be re-named 'Space Oddity' (with a new cover) until 1972 when re-released by RCA. The original cover would return in the 2-disc re-release on CD in 2009. Hope that clears things up.
@@Peyote1312 I AM chilled.
Never saw Beverly Hills Cop.
Waiting for the elitists to complain about the white country guy...
Scared of putting a needle on a record?! Sounds like a weird problem to me...
David live is a pretty terrible album actually
To mz recollection, he's a bit alike Charlie Manson... With the exception that he ain't a killer, although a shooter, for sure... Probablz, Charlie wasn't, either. Sorrz. Mr. Polanski, but, I'm convinced in this statement. Love U, Sharon, anzwaz!
Wack
