Worcester fan here. I know I'm late to the party for commenting on the matter but better late than never. It really is great to see so much support from other clubs from all over. I had been attending matches for 14 years along with my old man, meeting up with Auntie and Uncle who were also fans. I saw many great things happen at Sixways, promotion from the championship to the premiership and beating more fancied teams, to add to that seeing international stars like Owen Farrell, Faf de Clerk, Dan Biggar etc. Now 18 months on and it is sad to say that I have started to fall out of love with rugby and I think the demise of Worcester is what kick started this. Worcester were my nearest premiership team and it is simply too far to go and watch another club without great expense. Most rugby lovers in the West Midlands would've felt a connection with Warriors because it was seen as the club that represented the region in the Prem, when most were from London or the SW of England. I am now making do with watching my local team which play in Midlands 1. I hope Worcester Warriors will come back one day, even if it means starting at rock bottom along with Wasps and London Irish.
exeter fan here, hope you get back somehow mates, u made a great big chunk of rugby history, hope to see you soon in whatever form it may be! lots of love from the Netherlands!!
First the Wolves basketball team, now this... it must be disheartening to witness such a sudden demise. The RFU and Premiership Rugby have a lot to answer for, to allow this to happen.
Owners accrued loads of debt and didn’t pay players and staff etc. Club is now in administration and they’ve automatically been relegated to the championship next season. Doubtful if we’ll ever see them again
A very tastefully crafted tribute, Mr. Forde! Your exceptional research techniques paid dividends in releasing this at the most pertinent time. Bravo!
Its so sad to see this happen to them
I will always have fond memories of Worcester. They hosted a championship double header helping out Plymouth Albion and was a brilliant day out.

Hopefully you won’t have to make one for Wasps too. What on earth is happening in the Premiership

Never stop making videos
This should never have to happen to any club
What happened
They ran out of money and all the players and all the staff who work / play for Worcester have been fired
I’m out of the loop, they run out of money?
