in the panzer, there are two black pieces that doesnt attach to anything. what does it do?

They are alternate parts you can add on the wheels of the panzer to make it higher. I think it is for the trailer transformation which I am mot a fan of so I no longer shown it. Or for the red bird attachment. I no longer have the figure because I built this for a friend so I can’t be sure but they are definitely extension for the wheels to get higher.
