The collection belongs to Sydney businessman, Gordon Russell. A Britannia glass, commemorating the Peace of Paris (following the 7 year war of 1763). A Victory goblet celebrating the defeat of the French Fleet in 1759. A 200 year old wine tankard bearing the markings of the then outlawed Jacobites. A giant goblet nearly 10' high dated 1760 and bearing the arms of the Norfolk town of Kings Lynn. An early example of glass engraving - a Dutch Wedding Cup.

What a great and priceless collection. I always look for such old glasses when I go to antique shows and flea markets and they are very hard to find and often very expensive. I have had some luck however, as you can see from my latest video I was able to find a 300 year old Dutch "Roemer" wine glass in perfect condition for very little money.
