Ahhh, at last we are having some August sun in the UK! Here's a lovely film of Brits at play in the sunshine in 1932.
August Sun Finds Seaside Exultant
All round island coasts of Britain holiday spirit reigns, as for instance at St. Helier, Jersey. Close shots diving from board into swimming pool by the sea. Water Chute and swimmer down same in an unusual position. Girls box on raft and one pushes another in. Dancing alongside swimming pool in bathing costumes.
