This documentary is very informative. Thanks for making this available in RUclips. I've heard about Spratly Island in the news but never have any idea about the extent of Chinese expansion and control in the entire area including Pag-asa Islands (very close proximity to Palawan). I hope that the Philippine government will continue to fight for the territory. The biggest mistake of the Philippine government ever did (in my opinion) is getting rid of the USS Military bases in the Philippines. Just look at Japan and South Korea, they are capable militarily but allow US Military bases in their Country to maintain tight alliance with the United States and deterring China and North Korea aggression against their country. Am I wrong? Think about it. China is becoming one of the most Powerful (Military Capability) countries in the world.
It was President Aquino' s decision to let them go! She did not realize how essential and compassionate the U.S. was and they are still today! God bless America and the Philippines to keep up with their friendship!
I will also add that even though China is the most powerful country, in your own opinion, China cannot just bully any country in this world, if she starts anything then U.S. will do something that will really hurt millions in her country. China will be sorry.

If Turkey, Iran, Greece, Britain all did that, then the Ottoman, Persian, Greek, and British Empires would all overlap. International law is there to stop that. I think China should either choose a period of history to judge their claim, or come to the ICC and follow the rulings.

The Philippines has acquired some excellent Naval Vessels built in South Korea...this money was allocated under former President Aquino The bases agreement treaty which would have given US War Ships and the US Air Force access to bases in Palawan, Clark Air Base Pampanga, Cagayan de Oro and other facilities approved by former President Aquino but then drastically scaled back by President Duterte in fear that this would offend the Chinese... hopefully President Duterte will see the need to continue modernizing the AFP!

The Philippines has acquired some excellent Naval Vessels built in South Korea...this money was allocated under former President Aquino The bases agreement treaty which would have given US War Ships and the US Air Force access to bases in Palawan, Clark Air Base Pampanga, Cagayan de Oro and other facilities approved by former President Aquino but then drastically scaled back by President Duterte in fear that this would offend the Chinese... hopefully President Duterte will see the need to continue modernizing the AFP!
