I was the musical director of this particular show. It's high school and middle school kids (cast and band!) performing in front of their peers, which explains the audience. :) Great training for the cast though, as this sort of audience teaches them that they have to soldier through no matter what. They're awesome kids. :)
I have just watched the whole thing through, and it is amazing! Their voices were loud and clear, Seymour was amazing, Mushnik's death had me shivering, as did Orin's and Audrey's, and your finale was truly fantastic!
Luke Rosario I agreed with you the audience was super rude a lot of hard work thay put in to this show if thay do this again I think thay should be throw out of the high school theater and pay what they have done
Thanks I enjoyed your Performance, Music, Dancing, Set, Props, and Singing was wonderful. i loved it, was lots of fun entertainment. :) Thanks, it was Fabulous and Funny.
I have been in this show before and i think they have done an amazing job with the cast set and music! What an amazing show! too bad the audience was too loud but they really kept on going and ignored it the best they can! :)
When I did this musical a week ago I was a urchin and during our song and they talked after the song I just screamed “SHUT YOUR MOUTH” they didn’t even speak during intermission lol I have some power
The coda at 59:23 is completely creepy. We went to a high school to see this play and at the coda, they were playing a happy piano solo while it only shows seymore feeding an arm and a hand. THATS IT. This preformance shows seymore feeding it an arm, a leg, AND GUTS. And they sang that one part from the prologue in a really quiet and creepy tone. (no complaints doe. Great show)
the audience just won't shut up! Gosh!!!

Oh, how I miss!! HI MS. JOONEE!!
that is cool
the show would have much more impact if the damn audience would shut up.
All you see when you look in the comments:
SHUT UP AUDIENCE!
Audrey's bearing her soul out there, and there's constant chatter like it's the intermission! Great cast, though, and Mushnik and Seymour is amazing!
I hate that audience... if i was the director i would have shouted for them to be quiet.. neat show though.
what do you expect with teenagers? no vrespect 4 theatre
+Starlight Glimmer 33 Ive seen schools who respected way worse versions of this play. its sad actually.
They could have whispered Atleast
+Starlight Glimmer 33 Yes but these are grade school and Highschool students.

the audience was so rude. they did the show very well

I screamed saying " SHUTUP AUDIENCE!! " while watching this
Why won't the audience shut up?
The ungrateful and rude audience needed to shut up, otherwise it would have made the performance even better 🌱

Great show. I enjoyed watching it.
Actually nice to see DLSZ still doing musicals after all this time...
The urchins really peaked at the finally and prologue, and in The Meek Shall Inherit, and Suppertime- essentially, they were great!

the audience is _actually_ worse than the missing of my favourite scene
i was so pissed off at the people talking xD
this audience wow if i was seymour i would’ve said before quiet
this musical is really great! 2 thumbs up!
Talent ruined by chatter GRRR
The audience... so loud... D':::: SHHHHH god
The Suppertime Version is a success
Audry2 Puppeteer was Spot on Perfect
This is an example of poor audience etiquette. But awesome show though!
wow so amazing
If I was the principal of that school, the majority of the student body would be writing lines for days.
This is a great cast but a horrible audience
why is everyone talking oh my god
The audience is terrible.
Don't think I've seen a younger cast tackle this show...
And agreed, horrible audience.
Audrey II's acting is great, singing needs training though
I wish Seymour understood his character better
Boooooooooom
Is Seymour lip syncing?
marcus minondo nope! :)
+Carrie Nakpil hey! you played Audrey in this production didn't you
Just like everyone else in the comments, the audience is annoying me😅
What an awful audience
cringing
