I think you should mention that you NEVER put a microfiber towel in a dryer.. the fibers will fuse and you'll lose most of the wicking effect that makes them so good. Always air dry.
Our favorite tip is a quick connect. We have ours always attached and used teflon tape to seal the connection. Now we never have to use bad language when connecting to a water supply-Thanks!
I remember you replaced your stovetop with an induction model. Our RV came with an induction, which we proceeded to break by accidentally dropping a pot on the glass top. After replacing the stove, because it could not be repaired (expensive), we decided to use a memory foam floor mat as a protective cover for our stovetop. When the stove is not in use, it protects the glass top and provides additional space to lay things down without worrying about damaging the stove.
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 ... i was LaughingMAO ...Watching you go through your RV with your battery "Blower" !!! That was a Hilariously, Unexpected and Wonderful Idea!! Loved It. Thank you.
For bathroom trash cans we use the plastic cereal containers. They are tall and thin and fit perfectly between toilet and wall and it has a lid. For the bigger bathroom we got the container from Walmart but for the 1/2 bath we got a smaller one from Dollar Tree.
I have a small bathroom with a radios shower, very odd space for a trash bin!! I found a tall but narrow square based sugar container, plastic with a frosted glass look, and a white snap on top with a large pop open area for pouring or measuring sugar. I put a little 4 gal scented liner, pop on the top, and have a trash can with a lid for my bathroom.
Thanks for the bonus tip! I'm going to have to try that in my garbage cans. I have also made the homemade "bins" from rugs. I love them! So simple and so useful!
Thank you so much for this timely video! I've been looking all over for an alternative hood vent, with no luck. I just ordered the Ciarra and am looking forward to using it. Your generosity in sharing your experiences gained over the years has helped this newbie RV full timer so much, you've made my life easier and I'm more confident in my new knowledge. Keep up the great work!
13:10 Keys. True , most heavy equipment from the same manufacturer use the same key , you can buy a "John Deere" , JCB or Kubota key online for $2 that fits all of that brand and model ... RV's are the same ,, this goes for cars sometimes too , Honda 1996-1998 had only 3 different keys which is why they were the most stolen, if you had 3 keys in your pocket you could drive off in any Honda.
LOVE the QR codes!!!! We are usually watching on our TV, so I have to remember to go to you tube on my phone to open the video to be able to read the description for certain products. LOVE that I can scan the QR code from my phone and add that product to my list or my cart! Great job as always!
A friend of mine has a collapsible electric water kettle he uses to make coffee. Quite a space saver. I like the stove fan, would work in my tiny that doesn't have a range hood! Great video!
The bonus tips really are a bonus. I actually got up to refold a towel (had to try a couple time to really get it right) and the bath trash essential oil tip is excellent! I don’t love plastic stuff, but RV life all but requires it due to weight constraints.
Hey I was wondering have you guys ever thought about buying a portable dishwasher? I was looking at them the other day and I don’t look that expensive but I don’t really know how good they work or if it will be worth turning around in my RV.Nice video thanks
I wish those RV locks fit most newer RV's. They don't. I've been on their list for notification for a long time. You are lucky with the long throw...newer Class A's have a short throw and other things that don't work with RV locks.
I like the idea of the wireless key fob dead bolt lock. However, the door must be exactly 1.5" thick. Winnebago used a thickness of 1.67" on my door, and it wouldn't work.
I live in an apartment, but I bought a collapsible collander because y’all had it in a previous video. I have a regular one but I never thought about a collapsible one.
I haven’t like micro fiber towels in the past because they seem to just rub water around rather then soak it up like thirsty terry cloth….do these truly soak up the moisture?
Ben I have a 2007 Western Alpine Coach . I'm kind of sure I might have the same problems as you did. If you wouldn't mind could you inform me on what modifications I might have to make ? I' m sure you ordered the RVLock Atlas Keyless Handle for Class A & C Motorhomes For Doors With Hinges on the Right ? Thanks Jeff
In our RV the manufacturerer put the bedside cup holder shelf almost to the high cupboards..a mistake but we are the 3rd owner. What would you recommend we put on each side of the bed at a reasonable level so we can put Kleenex and water bottle?
I recently started watching your channel. My husband and I are stuck between wanting to RV full-time and VRBO our home (two acres on a lake) or RV full-time and sell our home or RV part-time and live home when people aren’t renting our home. I know you VRBO your home. Any tips you can give us as far as making that decision? We’re retired but would like to spend summers near our home (grandbabies ❤).
@@GratefulGlamper Do you have any videos on how you handle the details: Do you use a property manager; do you travel half the year and stay home half the year, or is it always different; have you emptied your house of all your personal belongings; does it bother you to know that strangers are sleeping in your bed? Our thought was to rent our house for the next decade, just so we weren’t dealing with having to remove all of our personal belongings and then replace our personal belongings and then remove our personal belongings . . . But I would love to learn more about how you handle the details. We really didn’t consider coming and going, but it might be an option for us.
Hehehe~ SO glad I'm not the only one Janet! They can be tedious to remove, but I have to take off sale stickers/price tags/brand labels~ even from food boxes that will get binned or recycled, & even if I have to soak jars or plastics & chisel off adhesive. 💡 Now that I'm thinking about it, it really does take up too much of my time~ kind of wish I didn't have this compulsion...maybe there's a group for that🙃
You really do not need to use that much essential oil. Its concentrated and a few drops will do just fine. I know cause I sell oils. or ven just put a couple drops on a paper towel and put inside the bag to help with oders
Keep trying. I just purchased one and had to re-enter the code at checkout. Note there is a 15% discount on the black model, and a $50 off discount on new colors being offered.
I loved the video! Not a fan of that ding ding ding sound in the collapsible section tho. It was loud and annoying and also kept making me thing I got a text
Honey, you really need to find some sun block and take better care of your skin. I’m a truck driver dealing with skin cancer. Please protect your self.
I will look into collapsible "other" items, but something I do like is the different sizes of collapsible funnels. Microfiber towels are what caught my attention and the Mandela design is wonderful for me. It's just me but being able to wash them in my baby washer and dryer and also have them dry quickly after showering or swimming is priceless. Thanks.
You are going to cause air blowers to be banned. You know there's always going to be those people who use them like their at home, with no regard to other campers and noise pollution. Thanks a lot for ruining peaceful camping. 😠
A lot of RV’ers with towable Rvs also use a leaf blower for cleaning of the top of slides before moving their rigs too. We don’t have to do that since we have slide toppers. Thanks for watching.
Do you feel like the microfiber towels really dry you?? I received a few kitchen microfiber towels and I just couldn’t get my dishes dry with them🫤. That was a few years back, maybe the brand???
I have similar but different microfiber bath towels and LOVE them. They dry BETTER than terry cloth and are GREAT for wrapping up long hair to dry with out damage (so maybe purchase a single new one to try out?)
13:39 I bought only one f the VENTURE FORTH towels to see if we liked it. Well, 3 towels later that’s a YESSSS !! I’m replacing all my RV towels with these microfiber ones. It’s a little bit different to dry off but it’s a completely dry feeling. No dampness when trying to get dressed after a shower. Love them. And I used the travel bags they came in for other storage things. Thanks for your helpful advice!!

I loved the mini stove vent. I could even use it at the house we rent since the Exhaust fan is an old one on the ceiling.

We use tot loc magnetic child locks for kitchen cabinets during travel. Our Jayco has tall cabinets that would pop open .

Love the kitchen vent. Every time we cook bacon the smoke detector goes off.
Lol, the struggle is real 🥓

Lol, so true! 😂
I haven’t like micro fiber towels in the past because they seem to just rub water around rather then soak it up like thirsty terry cloth….do these truly soak up the moisture?
Yes they do and you can even wring them out
Hearing a leaf blower while on vacation would drive me insane. I go on vacation to get away from that noise.

Correct, the Atlas Rv Door Lock - we had to grind out the opening slightly to make it fit.
Charity - where did you get the towel rack you are showing with the microfiber towels, please?
I got it at a Bealls store in Florida , there is a similar one on Amazon here: amzn.to/445cXNS

I love the little wood boxes we put next to our bed that I got at hobby lobby
@@GratefulGlamper how are the installed? Screw in, tape or magnet?
Thank you very good video

Do the micro fiber towels cut down on the moisture factor after a shower in the RV?
Not sure they help with any condensation in the RV but they do dry faster so when you shower daily you always have a dry towel.
I have an emotional support border collie in my class A rv and sheds so much hair how does the air blower actually help with the pet hair?
We open the door and a front window and blow all the hair and dust outside
Hood to go, do they make a truck camper size lol🍻
Double-check that the essential oils you are using are okay for your pets. Some of the oils can make your animals sick or even kill them eventually.
Yes, we only use pet safe oils in our RV

Costco has a three bin for 9.99 about the size of Bens bins..
Good to know.
Where did you get the micro fiber towels
