I found your channel and have been binge watching all week!! I’m not caught up yet but getting there! I love watching you guys - real people, real families, the good, the bad and the wonderful! This will be my first full season RVing (bought our first rig at then did last season) and I feel like I’ve made a friend already! Thanks for the laughs, the tears, and the lessons! Keeping you and your family in prayer for continued blessings and safe travels!

Loved the video (just found it) and you have some great ideas. You seem to be young enough to have grown up in the high-tech generation, but I grew up before computers old school style. So although all the electronic apps, gadgets, etc. are great, one should keep in mind how to know info without them. Example: Do research to find the old school ways of predicting weather, knowing directions, having light, water, heat, air sources and more. Not to mention natural medications & first aid as well, OH & how to find, gather & filter water plus build outdoor cooking stoves/ovens. I see you have an entrenching tool (small shovel) which is a GREAT tool to have especially if you have the more modern one with all the additive survival attachments today. The one issued to us was like yours in my early military days. 😉 It did get the job done. Having solar back up power is a good source of energy IF you have sufficient sun too. Put the two together & you can survive on & off grid. Just a little advice from an ol' country girl/military brat, vet, spouse, mom... etc. I WILL survive. lol
hi lady j- I'm right there with you with knowing how to get by with "the old school" ways, but some of the new stuff is amazing--it just takes me longer to get it- love ya kate in Az
I am so excited about the app for Android. I understand it takes time energy and cash just know this is something those of us with Androids are stoked about
Good info. Love ur DULLY mine looks IDENTICAL 👍👍👍. Mine has the airbags already installed. Mine a 2010 got about 156k . We r getting ready to start our traveling n Mar. with no time to return 😃😃😃. HAVE A🙏 BLESSED 🙏DAY.
Hi Athena, here is a link to our website that not only has links to some of the gear we have used in our episodes but also our FAQ section that might help answers any questions you might have. We hope this is helpful. 😀
Just found your channel. Thank you for a great video. We just purchased a 2013 fifth wheel camper and are looking to finally getting out on the road. I like the idea of your Nomad app, just need it on Android.
Do you have a list somewhere of the items you promoted and their brand names? Like what kind of magnets were you using? I've been warned to keep magnets away from electronics: "a nearby magnet will affect the internal magnetic sensors inside the phone. ... Magnets aren't likely to kill your smartphone, but there's a possibility they'll mess some pretty important aspects up."
A question for the group, we are new to bring, which app do you use to map your routes. We travel on the east coast and find there are many restricted roads especially NY and NJ. Any recommendations.
I was thinking about that can you elaborate on some of the problems/like batterys&magnets-what about reverse polarity . I need more info. Thank-you kate from Az
@@LessJunkMoreJourney yes, I know. I’m using IOS 15 and it doesn’t show up in the App Store. Even from the link on your website for iPhone or iPad. However I am downunder.
hi Bruce, I'm going to plug a 25'trailer into my friends barn and live there. She just bought the place-how can I check things out about the right extension cords or whatever is the right thing to use. Thanks--Kate in Az
You’d just trip the 15-20 amp circuit of the house (no damage - just go flip the breaker back on. If you have a soft start on the AC you can run it. A modern 13.5 btu pulls about 10 amps or 1200 watts. The startup is roughly double that (20 amps) so it will trip a 15 amp (it didn’t trip my 20 amp circuit with AC on low even before the soft start installed). Look in your AC manual for your amps pulled on high and low. Double that for startup and decide whether to install a soft start.
Kind of yes, we have had some issues that have kept us from moving forward on the Android app but those have been recently solved and we have a process in place to move forward. So that is good. 😀
Corey literally keeps the cleanest truck and camper of anyone currently alive on the planet!
😂
A fold-up pick/shovel was a core part of our gear as boy scouts. Mess kit, sleeping bag, pocket knife, shovel. The rest was all second tier or lower.
Yep!
LOL! You attached your after market sewer hose holder to your built in OEM sewer hose holder. Pull of that black encap... BOOM!

As a former State Park ranger in Oregon, I can vouch for the Avon Skin So Soft hack!
It’s awesome 👏🏻

We use VELCRO in place of some of your magnets ... nice ideas! Have fun!
NOOA weather gives pretty good alerts and its free
Hope this nomad app hits Google play soon. Would love to check it out
zip ties are a life saver :)
Entrenching tool! (or E-tool for short). Said for every Army vet who heard you call it a shovel. ;) (I kid, I kid.)
New to RVing so excited!
Whoo hoo! So exciting!

It has not been an easy road for sure.
@@LessJunkMoreJourney I appreciate you taking it! Is there anything yall need?
What do you do after a long day of towing the RV, you can't find any parking to spend the night? Walmart, side of the road, etc ?
Unfortunately it is better these days to plan your stops with some sort of reservation.
New subscriber here! We're a family of 5 that love to spend our summers camping throughout New England, USA. ❤
Awesome! Thank you!
Just found y'all! Can't wait for the Android version of your app! Thanks for sharing yalls journey!
Awesome! Thank you!
Fairly new to camping but our sewer hose fits inside out rear bumper of our camper.
On most RVs that is the case, not with this one. 😀
Question, won’t your sewage hose fit inside your rear bumper? It looked like it will. They make caps to replace the stock caps.
Usually but not that bumper.

Hey guys do we have a ETA on the android? I am really stoked. Hopefully it goes live soon.
I wish we did, but programming the app has been challenging for sure.
You made me feel like I need a list. Great video you talk to fast sometimes but the content is fantastic
Thank you! Glad we could help 😃
ive got to know where is your wife from love that accent. love the content and as new rvrs good info thanks

We are working it but it takes time and money. We are getting there though.
ALDI sell those reusable zip ties on occasions. They are cheap.
Doesn't the sewer hose fit inside the bumper? I've seen many people take the cap off the end and the hose slides inside
In many it does, just not in ours.
Nice job on creating that Nomad App.
Thank you.
Downloading it now

Yes on our website, under "Gear" we have a list of all the things people have asked us for links to. We hope this helps. kit.co/lessjunkmorejourney
Wont they ruin a smart tv's screen if sitting on top , its been along time cant remember all the details

Magnets aren't good for many electronics. keep that in mind. Like the idea though.

umm, isnt the bumper what you use to store your sewer hose?
Most of the time but not on this rig.
Thanks for the tips. One question. Is the nomad app only available in the US?
No it is only available currently on IOS. Hopefully Android soon.

Have not been able to get the code yet
Code?
You're sure Hose goes in the bumper on the back.
Yes
Any updates on nomad near me for android yet??
We have no updates to share at the moment but just know we are actively working on it. It's a bigger project than we had anticipated.
Are you guys in TN?
We have one more Hawaii video, but we arrived back in TN 3 days ago. Still recovering from jet lag…

Algood?
Use caution with an electrical adapter. Drawing too much amperage from the camper could blow the circuit. Recommend no A/C.

Who is developing the app?
It's a long story but we have a team.
I wouldn't think of driving into the woods without a shovel in my vehicle....
Still no Android version.
It is very close!!!!
Nomad for android yet
Not yet but we are working on it. $$$
I’m not too sure a homeowner would want an app that tells people when your away from your home camping.
Very excellent thought! K in Az
never buy a ram or ford to tow with, gmc's come with STANDARD sway control, ford and dodge offer it for a cost.
Good to know!
lol not a drill that's an impact.
🤣🤣🤣
