As a very young child, I remember the Gaelic spoken as a household language. But, over the years, this knowledge has sadly passed. I can barely remember any words, now. A series like yours is so important in trying to bring this rich language back to life for me, again.

I agree. For some reason I can't leave a regular message on here so I am replying to yours. I wonder how long Jason has been studying Scottish Gaelic? Also, is it pronounced GAHLIC? Sounded a little different when he said it. I'm sure his way must be correct. Tho when I study on Duolingo lingo for years now they have different accents.

Loving that you are back to making videos. I will watch this after work. I have noticed a few come out with this pattern now and wondered. When creating a sentence with 2 verbs such as WANTING to MAKE or WANTING to SEE, is the standard pattern verbal noun (1) ______verb 2? Or is this just with sentences about wanting something?

These videos come at a great time! Last week I got fed up and decided to finally commit to learning all the irregular verb forms. Question: for "to see," my study materials list "dh'fhaicinn" (which I can't even begin to pronounce 😂) instead of just "fhacainn." Is this a simple case of "more than one way to say the same thing," or are there other grammar rules or new spelling conventions at play?
P.S I came across "fhacainn" a few hours after I watched this video and knew what it meant right away! Coming across words and phrases I've just learned "in the wild," usually makes them stick in my mind, so, bha mi cho air bhioran!

Very helpful. how does one use this in the possessive. E.g “I am wanting to see your/my house”. Would that be “Tha mi ag iarraidh fhaicinn taigh aged/agam” ?
