One detail I love is how they keep aiming there guns higher and higher (thinking the monster to be massive) even the camera pans out, but then this little guy jumps out xD
i love how decently made movies after decades still make me laugh out loud because it just has THIS
i never noticed this
but here we are
@A RUclips Guy Oh same bro, everytime (as a kid), if I heard something squel I would run back inside 😂 But now I carry so Im not scared.
@@gadrielvanorion9872 Oh yeah man, there was really something magical about these old “monster” movies. For me its always good writing and practical effects. Tremors 1 and 2 had a great combination of them.
Tremors at night is a whole new kind of scary 😂
RFRacing I’m glad I’m not the only one lmao
better have something great than a double barrel shotgun 😂
@@Mohammadkwt a elephant gun should do nicely
“What the hell is that” my favorite line lol. I wish they bring these little guys back I miss then last 2 movies no shriekers
I know right they where the only creature that is land walker. And even in the series there is bout 3 episodes with them. I hope tremors 7 will have all in one war.
GOOD NEWS EVERYONE! TREMORS 7: Shreiker Island
Yep the shriekers return in TREMORS 7
I love the total confusion in Grady's voice when he says that
This movie is damn clever with a lot of attention to detail, especially for a B-movie. I love the way Grady unnecessarily smashes the car window with the butt of his rifle and then Earl just causally opens it. It’s a little moment that doesn’t draw too much attention to itself. The introduction to the Shrieker is great too with the way Early and Grady keep slowly raising their rifles. There’s a wonderful misdirection with the framing. The little Shrieker comes barreling in at the bottom and the two lower their aim in the reaction shot. So many great gags like that in this movie.
I feel like these films r kinda underrated
It’s perhaps the main issue with the ones Stampede didn’t produce. The humor is less subtle to the point where everyone’s talking about balls and dicks at every opportunity and doing various things with urine.
Samuel Stephens I was the same way too, especially when the Shrieker appeared as a small creature instead of a large creature.
Totally agree. I still maintain that it's just as good as the first.
Remingusu awesome and good to know
I love how humble the monsters are in the tremors films. Usually monsters are the apex of every species with all strengths, no weaknesses, with the ability to end worlds just by existing. Then comes the graboids, shriekers, and assblasters that are seemingly crippled with a list of weaknesses. Yet, they remain deadly.
I believe that the weakness and strength that they have makes them more natural and possible to exist
0ShadowBroker0 it adds believability to the movie while also making things more interesting and tense (who’s gonna get the killing blow the human or the monster?)
The thing is the original treated the Graboid like a Shark with stranger elements you find in nature. The graboid swims through dirt like a shark, it listens for vibrations than sees like a bat, it has beaks like birds but open up in a flower pattern, and it's body is designed like a worm. It isn't so much of just design from nature, but purpose like in nature. Evolution is about creatures being designed by processes of natural orders and instances so as to adapt to enviornments and periods, but not perfectly because weaknesses come with each strength. It's design, as fun as it looks to make, fits for nature. The Ass Blasters kinda stretch it, but Shriekers feel natural too. I mean the existence of the life cycle is freakish, but nature is freakish and the graboid is one freaky thing, especially considering how it's like an insect.
The whole series has a over arching theme of humbleness. Most sci fi horor is military guys or scientists fighting the monster. But. Tremors has always been about regular small town people deafting the monsters with their own skills and using or making whatever weapons they have
@@LPTV84 Oddly enough even the Assblaster's ability comes from nature with the bombardier beetle. Although the beetle uses the ability for defense and not locomotion.
"Ugly little Toad." Lmaooooo 🤣
My parents when they first saw me
I love the sound they make, its really unique, like you never hear it in other movie other than the tremors franchise.
Sounds like a pig squeal mixed with some kind of bird
They sound like screaming pigs it's not really that unique.
This scene scared the shit outta me as a kid. Especially when they surrounded Burt's truck
Yeah, dozens of them. Poor bastards didn't stand a chance against Burt. Lol
Burt is the terminator of Graboids
Would love a series with earl and grady hunting in different spin-offs, kind of random but i like the two of them as charachters.
Val and Earl were supposed to return in Tremors the Series, no word on whether or not Grady would've showed
I always wanted to see something in the style of Cobra Kai centered around the characters who have interacted with Burt Gummer, Grady and Desert Jack meeting for example would be interesting as both of them have crazy imaginations
Rest in Peace Fred Ward🥺
Earl said LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! 😂😂😂
I feel I was denied..... crucial..... *NEED 2 KNOW* ........ IN-formation.....
"i am completely out of ammo, that's never happened to me before"
That used young ones in the middle of a shooting star to kick them out on Jacobs latter?
I did matthew for one, not to put them in the middle and then when something went wrong the system and other system pushed out.
Its "I feel I was denied critical need to know information."
@@aidenfurry471 well we're sorry Burt
Really wish we could get the soundtrack for Tremors 2, the song that plays when Earl and Grady travel to Site and this scene have my favorite soundtracks of the film
I friggin love the music in this part of the movie. It goes from creepy as hell (especially following Pedro's truck scene) to a kinda remorseful hopeless sounding music.
Fun Fact: Originally in this scene, Grady and Eark were gonna get inside the tower, and when they do, they were going to find plenty of dead bodies and blood inside. The storyboards can be found in the Laserdisc version of this movie.
That would have added to the horror factor.
@Darthzilla99 Yeah, to me, Tremors 2 was the scariest of the series, everything since I saw it at a young age J was terrified of the night scenes, The score was scary and the atmosphere was creepy.
My favorite part was : "What the Hell is that???"
Priceless, eh?
shreiker
And Hilariously Funny
Sure ain't no damn ostrich
Imagine going to your aunts house who live in the middle of nowhere as a kid. Knowing in the 90s there could be Graboids or Shriekers out there at night.
This film gave me nightmares as a kid.
Alright, confession time, when I first saw this scene in the film, I thought it was a dinosaur, or a featherless flightless bird. I also thought it had tusks like a boar or elephant, I also thought it was called "Little Snapper". Only to find out in the third entry in the franchise that they aren't as I thought they were as a kid.
The was freaking terrified of the shrikers as a kid I'd had nightmares were i was being by these things and the sound they make made me jump from my couch when I first saw this movie
Same. They horrified me back then. I remember being scared that they were real when I was little. Just the thought of them freaked me out. lol.
They have a scary sound but what terrified me more was the sound the graboid made when they were going through the change to shriekers now that was a scary sound even to this day honestly
I remember these little ankle biters traumatized me as a kid. Even out here in the country side at my teenage years, I’m still terrified to turn and face my window to see a shrieker staring right back at me.
Don't let your neighbor know, or he will order a custom inflatable Shrieker and place it outside one of your windows
same bruh
I really want to see the part where they find Pedro's truck. It was very scary. 😱
Hey how about the full "it's a whole new ballgame scene" ?!! Also I so wish they could recapture the perfectness between humour and horror as they did in Tremors 2, by far my most favorite film. (really wish the latest versions were not so cheesy and animated)
You're right. Trouble 5 and 6 is too much to exaggerate.
@@UnboxingLuigi yeah I really just want the classic worms and original shriekers. The ass blasters are cool and overall I did enjoy the third film. But geese the ball has been dropped further and further after three. Plus the current africanized creatures are a total bore to me and I much prefer the older design. I had hoped cold day in hell would of returned to the originals we loved.
I give big props to Michael Gross for being in near all the films. He really made everything come together. I also really enjoyed the scifi series btw.
@@geronimo5537 5 and 6 felt like the writers were retconing the tv series from canon but still using it's ideas in a bad way. I kept thinking they should've just left as canon and those films would've been better for it.
Thats what Im looking for I havent finished the clip I was hoping I get the full "its a whole new ball game" scene that cracked me up as a child..
3 and 4 where good, 5 was okay. But six was a let down.
Yo what I want is a deleted scene of how Burt handled all the shriekers in that truck just hearing him explain what happened was awesome then handling with hand to hand combat
The best sequel of any film period hell of a movie not being able to talk about this growing up was sad indeed.
The Shrieker is so fucking cute and adorable! No one can convince me otherwise!
The one time I've seen Burt scared.. 4:02
ursaltydog He was suddenly faced with something he’s never encountered before and completely surrounded, he must have been horrified
I'm pretty sure he was just caught of guard and not actually scared
4:02 I can’t handle Burts reaction 🤣
3:25 Does Grady want to get his palm jabbed with shards of glass or what?
IDC what anyone says, these things are adorable!
Agreed, I would have one as a pet if I could
this movie makes me nostalgic every time because this movie teaches us a lot about creatures that either hunt by sound or by heat sensor and how to stay alive when a Graboid & Shrieker attacks.
Ricky Moran Jr It taught me that most problems can be solved with a gun xD
Imagine tremors fans watching this for the first time seeing the Shriekers for the first time they're probably all thinking Grady's reaction " What the hell is that". " How does a 30 foot worm turn into that little thing " lol .
The perfect way to introduce the audience to The Shriekers
Tremors 1 and 2 are the bests in the franchise
2:21
Put it at x2
And if your a piggy fan, then you know what jumpscare that is :)
People argue that this movie is better than 5 and 6
But
Anyone else wanna see the old designs and the new design in the same place just kinda coexisting eating everything in sight, maybe each other on occasion
og and alpha breeds in the same movie, i might acutally like to see that
ps, i personally refer to the new kind as alphas
2:21 Daisy jumpscare
There was a deleted scene where Earl
& Grady got to the radio tower and
they found multiple dead bodies there.
It was cut from the film for both pacing and budgetary reasons. Storyboards
for the deleted scene can be seen in
the interior flaps for the film's original Laserdisc release.
2:20 daisy jumpscare sound
Huh. At 3:30 you can see the background Shrieker's control cables. They hid the other's pretty well, so I'm guessing this one was one of the shrieker puppets they used during the warehouse scene.
2:21
Daisy jumpscare on piggy C:
2:43 to 3:00 look how realistic that looks
The power of practical effects. This movie had some really good scenes because of it. The hollowed out graboid is another good example.
Frankly Tremors 2 is one of the best example of using CGI and Practical together. Practical for close in shots and CGI for stuff not possible with the puppets like running.
Why doesn't anyone use practical effects anymore CGI just makes it look weird at some points
@@ghostlydudeyt Mixture of time and effort and the fact that practical effects are both cheaper and easier to find. Sadly this combination is making practical effects abit of a lost art.
0:17-0:20
My reaction to all the thunderstorms I've been having the past 2 months.
2:21
*Me if I was in the movie with the first shrieker sight*
“The heck...thought the sucker would of have been bigger...!”
Notice how Earl in this movie has the same hairstyle Val had in the previous movie?
2:22 daisys jumpscare from piggy
what is that?! awe
i don't know but its coming this way awe
shriekers appeared
me: awwwhhhh how cute! awe
*SHRIEK*
Not cute at all!
Those little buggers scared the crap out of me when I was a kid
These are overgrown prehistoric chickens
Love it
2:20 - 2:24.
Daisy original jumpscare from roblox piggy
Here's a thought for a new tremors movie, a complete isolated place where(Probably a cave system similar to in Journey to the Center of the Earth.). Rather then going dormant like the other two breeds did. This group has been around and evolving this entire. Perhaps the Graboids have evolved so that rather then being split open to birth Shriekers, they barf them up. Have them as part of an entire ecosystem along with other creatures that are there. Have most of the movie of the humans fighting them, but getting near the end reveal that, surprise Graboids AREN'T the Apex Predator of the ecosystem. And then have the humans fighting that Apex Predator to survive and escape from place. Then, at the very end, show that one of the stages of the Graboid life cycle managed to escape as well, and is now loose and far more dangerous then the past breeds.
And as$ blaster but they are runners
改めてグラボイズの脅威を感じる作品だよね。あの単体のグラボイズが内部からシュリーカーを大量に出して物量戦しかけてきてなおかつちょっと餌与えたら爆発的な繁殖力。
Burt: 0:37
Stumpy is the prime example.
Am I the only one who thinks that this little critter is kinda cute?
That sound was for daisy jumpscare on piggy
2:22 sounds like daisy from Roblox piggy
2:15 1.75 Speed, Daisy the Donkey, Roblox Piggy Jumpscare
1:08 1:22 1:42 1:54 2:05 2:11 2:20
I would have loved to see what a Wesley Richards .480 could do to that little thing.
At 3:31 through and at 3:35 and at 4:01 through 4:04 when I use to be a kid those shriekers and there screams I have considered the scariest sounds out of every other monster because they sound like little kids screaming yeah no other monsters roar will ever come close to haunting me as the shriekers scream as well:).
I know I probably shouldn’t ask this, but how does Grady know how to hot-wire cars
2:21
*Did you know?*
Daisy from Piggy Had this origin.
Tremors 1 still the best compare sequels
Anyone notice the undiscovered pyramid after the truck was dragged across the field?
Too bad Val and Earl weren't in 3
I think what made me scared back then was yes even tho they were smaller than the graboids, the thing people forget to realize is the graboids couldn't see you, while these guys can. Which makes them deadlier. And the fact they could climb. You weren't safe whether you were on the ground or off the ground. You're f***ed either way
How can they eat all that electric equipment and not get zapped lol
Is it just me or do I want a pet shrieker
Would 12 gauge 000 buckshot kill a shrieker?
Do the graboids like evolve or something?
David AdventTime21 they have a whole lifecycle. Graboid becomes 3-5 Shriekers that become ass blasters that lay Graboid eggs.
See in the second one they teamed together they put a STOP to THE STOPPERS (the day on the wrong side They thought Eileen Warnos was an Alien even americans) but then Edgar died in the power lines.
Iikes tremors
02:29
It’s called a Shrieker but did they ever address when it was named or who named like they said Walter Chang named the graboids ect lol
Nah, they were never named until the third movie and at that point they actually just used the name the production team had given them. So noone officially named them like the Changs with the graboids and assblasters.
What sadistic bastard decided to give them a dog yelp?
하고싶어요안될까요제발보내드립니다!
Earl and his companion have just ran into a horde of newborn Shriekers and they just destroyed the radio tower. Shriekers like two things Food and Heat. Survival Tip: If you encounter Shriekers mask your heat and don't feed them or you will have 12 Shriekers and if you feed 12 Shriekers they will turn into Butt Blasters and will lay Grabber Eggs.
Why do you say"ostrich"?
