Crazy set up! Got a question for you, bare with me it’s long…I have the evox 12, and just preordered the new nxl 14-a (basically the nxl24 little brother) I planned on getting a rcf as-mk3 15 sub to pair with the nxl14, but when I did a sound test between my Qsc 112 and my evox 12 (which has a 15” as-mk2 sub) Qsc actually had less power but cleaner bass than my evox, and seemed to go lower..even though is only a 12” Do you have any experience with tho above mentions subs, is the mk3 that much better than the mk2 and what do you recommend for the pairing?
@@dustinheer9702 hey Dustin. SO THE EVOX 12 are great speakers for small events because they are extremely portable and they sound great. I have a pair. But you’ll come to realize that they aren’t very bass heavy. But that also depends on the type of music you’re playing. The Qsc 112 subs aren’t bad either but with those you’ll have to carry a pair of 2 way tops that may be more to carry. But if you prefer the bass quality of the Qsc I think you’ll do fine with the nxl14 and the Qsc 112 since the nxl are so small. But bottom line you’re looking at two very similar set ups. And you can’t go wrong with either or. And I’m not sure if the mk3 or 2 are going to sound any different. I hope this helps.
@ good info, thanks for the response! yeah is weird that that big ol sub from the evox doesn’t perform like I would expect it to. But portability is what I’m looking for, as well as the best power to size ratio I can find. I’m currently using 2 EV EKX 12s as my cabinet speakers, but with the subs I dont have the room. That’s why I’m looking at the nxl. It was between the nxl14 and the tt515 for my tops. Went with the 14 because they have 6 in woofers as opposed to the 515 which only has 5in. Even though vocal clarity is also very important, and the 515 might have the 14 beat there…Thought on that? Thanks again for taking the time to respond, I know im talking a lot here lol.
Wow, that video is fantastic, and the speakers are impressive-the throw range is incredible! Could you let me know the cost of each individual speaker?
@@mariocastillo813 yup I plug them into a normal outlet. If I can find two separate breakers I’ll do that just to get better power. But they work just fine in a regular outlet
@@djgazaaka5000 before I make my decision I’m going to test them side by side. I’m going to try to do a video mid Dec with both of the them side by side to see which one really hits the best. But for right now I’m leaning towards the RCF 👌🏾
@@DJRIKSTA yes the ttw are very loud and clear. Tons of head room but they are expensive. Get the nxl 24 you won’t be disappointed. I’m thinking of getting another pair again for smaller events 👍🏾
How does it compare to HDL10? I just bought 4 HDL10s, to use 2 per side with 8006 subs like you. Does 1 TTW sound louder and better than 2 HDL 10's per side?
It’s hard to tell. I haven’t compared them side to side. But traveling and handling the tts are definitely a lot more convenient. I’ll be doing a side by side test of the two set ups in a couple days
Those TTW’s are crisp 🔥🔥🔥
They are 👌🏾 thanks 🙌🏾
@@djwoodznyc437 what made you want this over HDL10?
@@dynamix_ent1022hdl is a baby compared with TTW 😀
@@DjBogdan that's what I thought, about how many guests can you cover with 1 per side of TT4?
Any plans on doing 2 per side for bigger events?
That’s some serious firepower brother!! Crazy!! 🎉🎉🎉
Thanks bro 👍🏾👍🏾
You know your subs are big when your girl sits on them and her feet don't reach the ground. Awesome setup.
2 dual 18🥵🥵🥵

Damn if you had bassboss subs you wouldn’t need something so big. But crazy setup

You’d have to do a search online or at your local Dealer. But they are about $6k a piece
Can you plug the 8006 to a normal outlet? Or do you use 220w
