I’m stuck on her. I’ve been binge watching all her movies and interviews. I just can’t get over how beautiful and sweet she is. And her voice is something I would never ever get tired of hearing.
I've watched this film many times, the same way I look at a beautiful painting or listen to Beethoven's 9th Symphony. Although I am a classical musician, I don't need any explanation of how the art was created. She is an artist. All the people associated with the making of that film are artists and masters of their craft.
She is Swedish, I assume English is not her first language? Although her accent sounds very British. But she seem a bit uneasy during this interview, maybe that's why she looks robotic here.
Love Alicia Vikander. She is the best! She has a boyfriend named Michael Fassbender. Love her British accent, instead of American. She sounds British and she is Swedish.
If you are a Sci-Fi fan, this movie is a must-see...the screenplay and acting are superb. I predict this movie will be a classic along the lines of "the day the earth stood still"
She perfected the role, no doubt!!!! The ending literally killed me when *SPOILER ALERT* she left Caleb, like DAMMIT I LOVED AVA. SO SAD. Caleb should have said 'no' to when Ava said " Will you stay here"? because she meant; stay in the facility or come with me? Like omg left me heartbroken looking for some hope for Caleb when Ava manipulated him to escape. She definitely had some emotion for him.
Interesting that you also picked up on that dialogue. He meant that he should wait while she was going to get changed - like when she said 'Close your eyes!' in Session 3. A classic misunderstanding, but as soon as he said 'Okay', he vanished from her attention. I don't think, however, that she had emotions for him. For her Caleb was just one of two morally flawed prison-guards and her one chance to escape Nathan's tech-bunker.
@kshamwhizzle I agree with you entirely. She also did a test on him and he failed on many points, like not closing his eyes when she asked him to, or not thinking about Kyoko in his plans to break out Ava. Most of all he didn't get Nathan inebriated as he said he would, which caused the bloody stand-off and Kyoko's destruction. Caleb is unreliable and a liability for Ava. When she says 'Will you stay here', it's less a question as it is an assessment of Caleb's destiny, which she enforces with slight nodding of the head. She seems a bit disappointed though that he proved to be such a splasher : )
Ex machina on the surface is a very basic simple movie but it's so deep and insanely conplex for the entire movie, I'd say it's compatible to the same quality as the dark night
I feel a credible sequel could/should be made. What DOES happen when a very human AI enters society? Just as she seduced Caleb she could seduce society appearing to want to fit in BUT actually wants to begin the "take over" movement.
What an awful interviewer... I mean, the guy was given the chance to talk with Alícia Vikander herself and does that? Are you kidding me? Btw, she is really amazing, what a role she did, what a hell of an actress she is. I've seen Danish Girl recently, and she have done such a great work there too. I believe her to be, alongside with Felicity Jones and Emília Clarke, the best actress of these days! Success for her on her future works!!!
Oh!! I haven't made the connection at all, somehow, and I've only seen both The Danish Girl and Ex Machina in the last couple of months. She was amazing there too, yes!
I'm from Sweden and we all learn English often start when we are 8/9 years old. So you often put on a accent from the beginning and just stuck with it. My accent is kinda British/European.
She was fantastic in the role btw.
nosuchthing8 such a great movie
those eyes WOW
talk about doe eyed
She is just so beautiful, elegant, gentle...just so profound in her actions and expressions
"Alan Turing whom we know about from other movies"
This is what's wrong with our society smh 😂😂😂
I’m stuck on her. I’ve been binge watching all her movies and interviews. I just can’t get over how beautiful and sweet she is. And her voice is something I would never ever get tired of hearing.
She still behaves a little bit like Ava in this interview, calm and elegant.
NetGuard dude i cant see her as a normal person, i see her as Ava, dont know how i feel about it.
She best the touring test🫶😨

She looks amazing, sounds amazing and also acts like a very very sexy robot (yet shes sexy in real life).
They wanted to interview Caleb but he was no where to be found.
I can see why they cast her. She is a little bit like a robot.
nosuchthing8 I think that's just the case here. Probably a method actress.
She is Swedish, I assume English is not her first language? Although her accent sounds very British. But she seem a bit uneasy during this interview, maybe that's why she looks robotic here.
ALAN CHIU I've seen her do other non-swedih roles without seeming robotic, still thinking she's a method actress.
her voice is angelic, my god
i watching random interviews like an ASMR

I thought she was married?
@@dimagass7801 she was.
Interesting film. I liked it a lot.
If Watchmojo ever does a sexiest female characters in film list, Alicia Vikander, as Ava, should be included. What a seductive stunner. Wow.

Pure class. I hope to see more of her in the future.
The light between oceans
Why is it up to anyone?
BTW: watch her in the Swedish voiced film, "Hotel;" .. she is brilliant ... not a great film by any means, but approaching greatness all the same.
Why no interview with that hot Japanese babe from the movie
Maybe because we are still being manipulated as the audience to over look and disregard Kyoko (Sonoya Mizuno)
Daisy Ridley will Surpass Her as The Breakout of 2015
KalKenobi83 sadly
Ex machina on the surface is a very basic simple movie but it's so deep and insanely conplex for the entire movie, I'd say it's compatible to the same quality as the dark night
I fuckin hate that Sophia robot, can we get a real Ava instead she would be exponentially better 😭
8 Danes disliked this XD
6:41 that face is adorable!!!!
Fassbender is the luckiest guy in Hollywood.
Wonderful touch on the philosophy of emotion vs electrons.
Fun fact: Pine wood studios. One, if not the biggest studio in the world, has tin roofs and no air conditioning.

She's not a real actress people! Run away!
is that her natural skin tone? she looks like she is from south-Europe while she is from Sweden.
First time I saw her years ago I thought like "Oh, beautiful Turkish actress!"
I like the way she is thinking about the AI situation.
my god, that voice!
потрясный фильм как же она красива!!!
Good job very entertaining she's a great actress and well spoken 👏
I'm in love now

beautiful & talented
complete all her films.... whatever works
Is this her real accent or is she putting it on? It seems odd she'd sound so English after growing up in Sweden.
+Maximusringrock You tend to take on the accent youre most exposed to when learning a language.
winston smith huh, I guess I never thought about it like that.

What are they Ava? Tell me more about that...
what's here mbti type ?
Probably INTJ.
ISFJ (Introverted, sensing, feeling and judging)
Vem nämnde pornografi?
Totally plain and disgustingly beautiful at the same time...
Major crush on her lml 😍😂👌🏽
