Anywhere you would use project management would benefit from the PMP irrespective of the industry.

Thanks for the tips vidya. I have always wanted to ask you about your accent. From your videos in your English Channel I was really astonished that you talk like a Native American. Did you take any classes to improve your accent or was it a result of living so many years in U.S ? Would appreciate it if you could reply or if you have more tips regarding that , please make a video. Thanks :)

Aww, thank you Ann. My kids make fun of my desi accent. 😃 Haven’t done anything in particular. Went to convent schools that placed a good amount of emphasis on speaking in English. English was one of my favorite subjects, and was lucky enough to have very good English teachers all along. I used to read a lot growing up. I studied in Tamil Nadu and most of my close friends and roommates were out of state kids. So I did speak in English mostly in college as well. The rest I guess maybe because I did my masters here and of course living and working in this country for so long. Also observing how people speak in TV shows and real life especially switching the pronunciation to the american accent as soon as you notice it has helped me significantly.

I’d suggest reaching out to the career office in her university and searching on linkedin. Another great option is to reach out to your college alumni on linkedin.

Can you start a PMP online course series ( in Malayalam or English )? Course is very expensive and 75% of the people don't appear the test immediately after the course ( Big Mistake !!! ) and later loose touch with the topics. So they never go for the certification.

Please checkout the resources I listed below. There are a lot of Udemy classes that are cheaper than in person trainings. Frankly if you work in the field and are at least a little familiar with the subject material you don’t need to go for in person training.
