I’m actually looking forward to this one. Not the handle or the weight but the shear force I know it’s going to deliver. I don’t think I’ll ever need to use it again but I’ve spent 34 bucks on dumber s#!t!!😂😂
I actually have one of these & Its tough. I did find out that I do not like a 2 handed machete though. Lol I can swing & recover it 1 handed but it is not comfortable to do so. Even as a weapon its too slow on recovery imo. Fun to chop stuff in the back yard w/ though.
I’ve never even heard of that! I’m definitely going to look into it. Thanks!! I actually just ordered some parangs from Malaysia and they should be here any day!
So I "had to" watch your video again on this machete... Of course I now own (when it arrives) a Cold Steel All Terrain Chopper!!! Regrets? NONE whatsoever!!!❤ Btw, the Gladius KICKS ASS, it's awesome!!!
I didn't know that that machete was gonna look like THAT! I like it. Just ordered the Gladius machete but, the price is right on that blade too... Good video!!! Subscribed too...
@@soloproject99 I'm not an expert but when you buy from the manufacturer the coating on the blade will be perfectly coated not an uneven coating on the blade. I'm trying to buy it directly from the cold steel company but the Machete is unavailable. But I'm still gonna buy it and give you an update when it comes. I love your RUclips channel and videos. I've been buying my prepping stuff from watching multiple people like you who been giving us the advice. Thank you for all you been doing and keep up the great work
@@JasonCastro199 no sweat brother! Thanks for the information! The coating seems to all be even and I just got done giving her the business 😂😂 I’ll upload the test video tonight. Thank you so much for your support!! I recently had another guy on here recommend looking at “Chicago Knife Works” website. They have pretty much anything I’d ever want when it comes to pointy things!
Yeah it's not exactly practical but it's a beast haha just be mindfull of the follow through, bout like a small axe! Also I thought I remembered seeing those 24" cold steel sheaths on Chicago knife works, just checked and they got them for 5 bucks, and best prices on Tramontina's I've found.
Get out of town!! You just made my morning! 🙏🙏 It might not be practical for every day use but it’s definitely going to be FUN! I’ve been thinking about what all I should cut with it. Like, does anyone have a deer they need quartered? 😂
Cold steel African made is super rubbish products. If it's American made then Cold steel is a good product.. If you do your home work You will see what I'm saying!

Very excellent tool

Nice machete. Looking forward to some testing 😃
Me too! “Machete Monday’s” are the only part of my work week I look forward too 😂😂
To be fair this looks like it was inspired a traditional Moluccan Parang war model. Except they have an angled handle and a more streamlined finish
I’ve never even heard of that! I’m definitely going to look into it. Thanks!! I actually just ordered some parangs from Malaysia and they should be here any day!
it will remain sharp, but over time the edge will rust if not oiled

I've been looking at the Cold Steel Chinese war sword machete. Haven't seen a good review on one yet.

Thanks for being here!! I want to get my hands on the Gladius too!
That’s it. I’m getting one 😅
😂😂 I left a link in the description of the test video if you want to use it!
Cold steel South Africa 😎🔥👌
Amazon has a tons of bootleg products
I'm a surveyor in FL. Looking for two hander. BTW .... I have that same pocket rod.
Plus you can tell the difference between the bootleg one and the manufacturer's blade
Help me out. How do you tell the difference between the two.

Also I think Chicago knife works is my new Amazon😂😂
@@soloproject99 haha yup and Smokey Mountain knife works is another good one
@@coltscustoms thanks!!
It’s not practical in your hands
its certainly not a toy
Doesn’t chop a thing with his chopper.
You brought the bootleg one. You should've brought it directly from the company just saying 🤷 😴
I’m just about to test it out. We’re gonna see how it goes!!
It's most likely a factory 2nd and not a bootleg, Amazon tends to sell 2nds but list them at full price

You will see what I'm saying!
I’ll have to read up on it and find some American made cold steel then! Thanks for being here and for sharing!!
