Major waves of nostalgia with this year in YTPMV. 2012 was an amazing year for the community in terms of starling originality and eclectic samples. I was 13 going on 14 at this time, my goodness.
im late, but this video means so much to me. i geeked out about this video turning 10 in a server im in, which is probably a sentence i would've never imagined id say 10 years ago. this video introduced me to so much good music and the concept of ytpmvs as a whole when i was little, and its permanently embedded in my brain for the entire time ive known about it. thank you for making this, and thank you for keeping it up after all this time. it serves as such an important archive for all of these videos that are gone, and i hope it stays up for 10 more years so even more loser nerds like me can find it. thank you so much

Whether the source is from something you like or not, it doesn’t change the amount of effort put into it or how good the initial music sounds, which is why it’s in the compilation.
These things are very hard to make work well but they stand the test of time because they feel sort of fresh but still like pretty well edited-together "videos", just another time in the long period of electronic mass consumption

What matters is that you work and make your own content continously, and move forward constantly, even though uplifts can happen those situations won't last forever
Perhaps it's true that there was an uplift in YTPMV in 2012. I guess I felt it then, while I created my RUclips account, but I don't know if others felt the impact and if people are aware of this slight uplift in RUclips.com YTPMV history. I felt good during this time, 2012
