It's actually waterproof! Not water resistant. I've owned one for three years now and heard through the grape vine that it's being discontinued. Just ordered a backup from Dungarees.com at a fantastic price of $89. I originally paid $169 + tax for it. It's a fantastic parka for those super cold days!
