6:08 the little seat for when you come on board after a scuba run, or whatever... REALLY great, useful stuff...
This catamaran is literally perfect in every way. Has a super luxury interior. And you are still connected to the sea and feel like you are on a boat. Mega Yachts feel like floating buildings rather than boats. I want to know im on a yacht.

How does this boat compare overall to that of sailing zatara?
Saw this at the Annapolis boat show. Loved it, just can't afford it. Might look into a smaller one, possibly the 51.
The Lagoon 51 is a great option!
@@TMGYachts Looked at a couple of used 52’s. Like the 52F owners version. Just waiting on a little bit of a change in our stocks. Took a huge hit two weeks before Annapolis that has put a damper on our timeline of retiring next year.

I have seen several boats much like this one and what I do not understand is why there is no inside wheel. Bad weather is always on the table when sailing but these boats have no way to get away from said weather. ??????

it looks amazing! I want to buy the 55. I noticed this one has teak deck on the entire thing, but some of them only have the teak on the back decks and the front is fiberglass. Is it possible to get teak on the entire deck? I know it would be more to maintain.

Not on the 55. This is available on the SIXTY 5.
this is a catamaran, does it have motor? or just sail and wind?

@@pred7949 well the truth is that I have chartered a number of lagoons and they are motor boats with a mast and sails for show... just too heavy to sail effectively....creak like crazy as well.. but for a family holiday motor cruising in the Bahamas its great. I wouldn't take it too far though !!
Are You and Miwok Wichahpi. The same person or do You just share the same Brain. If You do not like a particular make or model just move on. Every make has problems with a particular model. It is not whether a make has problems it is how they have addressed them.
@@davidleatherbarrow2640 The point being made here is that the lagoons 'problem' is that it is not a sailing vessel and it has not been addressed in any way 🙂

Nice boat, but it's missing the forward cockpit door that is becoming more prevalent. My wife won't buy a cat without it - she sees it as both safety measure and overall lifestyle enhancement.

@@TMGYachts We're in Florida, but it's good to see Lagoon reacting.
We had a long meeting with a Lagoon sales rep in Miami and one of their questions to us was, "how important is easy access to the front cockpit from the salon?"
The question came out of nowhere, so that pretty much clued me off that it was either in design, or coming soon.
Bet their new boom furling system is an option on it, too. That would be a great combo.
Great boat. The only think i didnt like it the color of the cushions. Light pebble color is far better looking tjan those black cushions

With Lagoon’s history of build integrity issues. I couldn’t take that chance in buying another Lagoon.
Rope storage ??? is it a warehouse or a boat that uses sheets and halyards?. Not being pedantic but if you cannot correctly identify and name essential components of a sailing vessel, you're opinion about anything related to the boat ends up being just a sales pitch.
Hi Brendan, Thanks for your comments, and thanks for watching. We do our best in these walkthrough videos to appeal to, and make it all as understandable for the widest audience possible, hence the simpler language. I am a sailor myself and completely understand your comments. As for a sales pitch.... that's exactly what it is :)

These videos are watched worldwide and translated into multiple languages. As someone who used to work as an interpreter, I appreciate the use of easy to translate words. "Rope Storage" is terrific because both words are universal - hence, easily communicated in any number of tongues.
Language can be art, but in essence it is about communication and transfer of knowledge. Did you - a sailor - understand the simple terms used in the video? If so, then mission accomplished. Anything else is just posturing around identity: "I am smarter than anyone who does not speak the way I do."
As a translator, dealing with that becomes quite tiresome.

The clue is in the mast, sails, halyards, sheets and winches...they are not decorative......
