How long can you let freshly poured plates sit before using them ?

After cleaning the plates from swabbing and fruiting to a shoebox do you just take a clone , throw that to agar and that will be the end result for each time you fruit and then monotubs ?

Could one go from spore syringe to sterile swab then to agar? If using a sterile, first time use needle, couldn't that bypass the need to flame?

Yes, I have heard of people squirting syringes over a swab then taking the swab to agar, but I have not personally done that. And yes if you are using presterile needles, no need to flame them on their first use. But def every use after that, flame on.

How many petri dishes can you swab with a swab ?

some people use tweezers to remove individual swab fibers. in that case, many plates. if I'm just doing a regular swab, I usually only take them to one plate.
