      Well, they really sped up the courts and balls this year (finally, after so many years of complaints from fans and players). It really makes a massive difference. Indian Wells used to be as slow as clay in previous years, but not anymore.

      They move the same as everyone in top20. There could be a slight difference between players, but its not like they move so much faster.
      Dont overhype. Its the courts and balls that can make it looks faster but for every player really

    Arnaldi didn't look like he had a coach after the first set. No strategy at all against expected Alcaraz power shots.

    Recency bias is truly killing this sub. Alcaraz is the best super young tennis player the tour has seen in many, many years. He's still 20 for god sake and has 2 slams, 4 1000s, 4 500s etc. sinner is two years older and only just won his first 1000 and Slam. Don't get me wrong, Sinner is my second fav tennis player, but everyone is just embarrassing themselves at this point discounting Alcaraz.

    • @hertor8803
      @hertor8803 6 месяцев назад +2

      I'm not discounting Alcaraz, he just went through a little slump, but I think Sinner is the better player right now. I also think Sinners style means he will be less susceptible to injuries in the future. It will be interesting to see who ends up with more GS when they are done.

    FINALLY! A long, thick, fat, juicy day of tennis unimpinged / unimpeded by incessant rain. Lots of great tennis right through to evening's end. Pour one out for Shevy who had to retire. Carlitoes, Belton, Leheckyeah, Triple Z, & Marrowsean all dug in to deliver 3 set wins. Sinner, Ruby, Zverify, Olive Oil, Bubbles, & Tiafoe were more workmanlike about their straight set victories. Wild provided the day's biggest upset over Karen. Shout out to the other Day 3 winners who unglamorously came through without fanfare: FAA, Cerulean, Greekspores, Taboo, Calvin Yves Klein Blue, RCB, & Alex Mueller Device.

    Interesting that these highlights are biased towards the Alcaraz match, you have such dominant display from Sinner but all the focus is on Alcaraz why is that? Reminds me of thing when the media was all about Steffi Graf, and always Monica Seles remained in the background. Sinner definitely deserves more attention especially with the way he’s going about his career

    • @got2bjosh
      @got2bjosh 6 месяцев назад +7

      Alcaraz had one of the longest matches of the day at over 2 hrs. Sinner's was a decidedly one-sided straight sets victory without much fuss. The top 4 players, who are all GS winners, each receive ample media attention.
