@@farisabusulb2247 The hotel I was staying recommended a tour guide to us and we organised our tours with him. The roads are very windy and hilly to get to eastern and western parts of Salalah. To be honest, I've never rented cars as I would normally contact a tour guide

It's better to check the official guidelines. Some sources say "a permit is required for all drones flights in Oman".
