    Congrats on the Primo sponsorship, the Paradym’s are interesting to see how they’ll innovate the club game, if at all. I’m going to my first lesson in a few weeks, looking forward to be back playing golf this year. Excited to see your progress!

      Not sponsored. I wish I was. Not at that Grant and Micah level. Just affiliated.
      For me the paradym felt good. But didn't blow me away or anything. Felt consistent but not super long. I think the stealth was more innovative IMO.
      My courses are just starting to open up so I'll be getting out there filming soon. I'm excited to start making some content again. I changed my swing up a lot over the winter through lessons. So no idea how I'll do in the beginning lol. Enjoy your lesson, and have fun out there! ✌️

    Good video! I went for a driving fitting and was good for the stats, then been having lessons from pga pro that made a difference, I think you would benefit from a lesson you look real stiff, trying to play the ball so far forward, feet way to far apart! Use your knees and hips more! It will come my friend

    Looks like you keep a lot of weight forward during your swing. Without a good turn and weight transfer, you’re basically just hitting with your arms. Might be something to look into.

      Totally agree with Johnathan. And open your hips in your back swing. Basically, if I was standing beside you on your down range side I should see your right shoulder blade in your back swing. The only way for you to do that correctly is to open your hips

    • @MGGolf
      @MGGolf  Год назад +1

      @@MichealBacon I have a pretty messed up lower back so turning correctly in the golf swing is pretty difficult. I have been working with a chiropractor to attempt to fix things up. Im hoping by the spring time I'll be in better physical shape to get some real rotation going. and then also getting some lessons over the winter to try and get the correct movements down. ✌

    What's your angle of attack? It looks a bit down to me where it should be up. That will reduce spin considerably. With 150-55 ball speeds and a 5 degree up angle of attack you will be carrying 250+.

    • @MGGolf
      @MGGolf  Год назад +1

      I'm honestly not sure Jim. I think I needed the little face stickers for a gc quad to pick that up. Not entirely sure tho. I think we were just basing things around the ball launch angle. I would assume I'm slightly downward based on spin numbers tho. I do need a driver specific lesson to work on attack angle, path angle, and dropping spin. You can swing as hard as you want, but if you don't hit it right it's not going anywhere. ✌️

    • @jimwocha4949
      @jimwocha4949 Год назад +1

      @@MGGolf absolutely. Dynamics with the driver are all important. Over 4000 spin doesn't sound right to me. With your speed you should be close to if not over 300yds total. My swing is slower than yours and my ball speeds in the 140s mainly but I hit up on it and my spin is between 2200-2500 mainly. Get the maximum from what you have got.

    • @jimwocha4949
      @jimwocha4949 Год назад +1

      Check out Shawn Clement's recent video. His daughter has similar ball speeds to you and hits it 315. 10 degrees up with 2000 spin.

    • @jimwocha4949
      @jimwocha4949 Год назад

      @@MGGolf launch is important. The guy doing the fitting was quite vague when he said launch should be between 10-14 degrees. That's a pretty wide window. Launch, ball speed and angle of attack all combine to make optimum conditions to maximize your swing dynamics. A good fitter would get those three elements in line in order to improve performance. I have been to fittings where it becomes more like a lesson than a fitting. It's interesting to get on quad and find out what optimal stats look like for your individual delivery.

    • @MGGolf
      @MGGolf  Год назад +1

      I didn't really have intention on switching. Just heard all the hype around the Paradym and wanted to give it a try. Felt pretty consistent. The stealth felt good when I hit it last year. I've got a sim 2 max in the bag now and it feels similar to the stealth.
      For me, as long as the right shaft is in the club, it feels pretty good. Im sure you could find a stealth 1 used/demo that you could try out somewhere.
      Personally, I prefer the TaylorMade. Good luck homie. Thanks for checking out the videos. ✌️

      Ya definitely need a driver specific lesson. I actually really enjoyed working with this fitter. For being a Callaway rep (basically a salesman) he didn't push the product on me in an uncomfortable way, and did his best to fit me. We did hybrids after this and spent much more time dialing and tinkering around as that's what I need more than a driver right now.
      Hopefully I can sort out my driver as alignment has always been an issue for me. Maybe by next season there will be a noticeable improvement. Thanks for the comment and checking out my vid. Appreciate it so much. ✌️

    From my experience you cannot do a proper fit with face tape on the driver. I think the wiser choice as you said is to have lessons rather than buy a new driver as buying a new driver will only mask the problems in your swing.

    • @MGGolf
      @MGGolf  Год назад +1

      The face tape was only because I mentioned strike location as my major concern. And I agree with you 100% that it could affect spin numbers and make for an improper fit. But at my level of playing, my striking is so inconsistent that the tape would have minimal effect. I'm hoping to have a driver specific lesson in the next few weeks to work on strike location and attack angle. Thanks for the input and checking out my video. Really appreciate it. ✌️

    I think you would benefit more from one or two good swing lessons from a reputable coach. Lots going on here; closed hips, too much weight forward, stance too wide, shoulders closed, swinging arms only. Find a decent coach and the majority of your swing issues will be in the rear view. Thanks for sharing
